Spectacular food quality, highly recommend! Authentic peri peri with great service and smiles. The aroma of BBQ and spices fills the air. The Portuguese imported bottled beer is ice cold, and the BBQ is excellent. We enjoyed the BBQ seafood skewer with squid and prawns and the peri peri chicken meals. Great atmosphere with a relaxed neighborhood vibe; friendly staff, nice music, and a menu in Portuguese (use Google Translate or ask for recommendations). Don't expect a white table cloth, instead, expect good vibes Cheers!

Amazing and authentic Portuguese/Brazillian Boteco. First time I walked past what looked to be an ordinary chicken shop, second time I noticed the bar. Third time I noticed lots of happy people eating and drinking. 2 Piri chicken, chips, rice and salad. Absolutely fantastic.

Came here last week, food was absolutely incredible, the best salmon and chicken me and my partner have ever tasted, with excellent portion sizes. Great value for your money and the staff are friendly and helpful, she even helped translated the menu for us! Will definitely be returning!

Food was very good quality with good prices. The food service was good with a bit of waiting time but the order did have 2 whole chickens so overall wasn't a bad waiting time. There is a large variety of drinks as well.

A hidden gem I would call it. We tried the Octopus and grilled fish and both were so good, and good price if you compare to expensive restaurants doing the same dish! yet to try the chicken but I bet it would be brilliant.

We regularly eat at this place. The piri piri chicken is superb. The prices are amazing too.

Massive disappointment tonight. Used to eat there (even at the previous location), ordered delivery even more often... We literally got "yesterday chicken" just reheat, rubbery and uneatable something called "grilled chicken". We live 5 min drive away from the restaurant and everything was just cold and was thrown away. not sure if Sergio is still there but I remember his food was always delicious. Today it was a disaster, waste of our money, we still had to order somewhere else

An undersold restaurant, that does amazing range of high quality Portuguese foods, and a bar, but looks like a tacky snack shop from the outside. Only real criticism is the lack of space inside with the tables and seating packed together.

This restaurant is amazing with lovely food. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

This is a very relaxed restaurant with. a rel feel of the Mediterranean. The staff are really friendly and the service is great.

I love portugal and eating at papa piri piri feels like I am back there! The chicken is amazing! The guys that run it are so nice and friendly! The food is so reasonably priced! I love it! It's like a little piece of Portugal in ipswich! Love the new establishment on Bramford road!

Excellent food, very good value, friendly service, but close too early 9.30pm and for some strange reason they decide to close down for, around a month, in the middle of the summer, just when you really want BBQ food.

Best Portuguese grilled chicken I've had in UK. Reminds me of back home. Piri Piri chicken was the best. Also serves other portuguese dishes such as "espetadas" and "bitoque".
