Golden Palace in Ipswich

Picked up a takeaway this evening and I can honestly say it was one of the best chinese meals I have had in a long while. Quickly prepared and very tasty. Would definitely recommend. Well done.

My family and I ordered a meal from Golden Palace last weekend. We had not tried this takeaway before but decided to follow the reviews we had read. GOLDEN PALACE ABSOLUTELY SMASHED IT. Best Chinese Takeaway any of us had ever had. We ordered a decent amount of food, which ended up being far more than expected (very generous portions) and totally delicious. The staff were very friendly and polite. Loved watching the chefs at work in the open kitchen! 100% recommended and will be our #1 choice from now onwards! Thank you!

Went here for a takeaway Tuesday night chicken curry good and soup and chips also I asked about pancake rolls as prawn allergy I asked the young lad can they be done without shrimp allergy yes he said well they must not communicate or take very little care to have a severe allergy and to end up after using epi-pen still had to attend a&e , I’m so angry right now I haven’t called them as yet but I soon will avoid if you have a allergy as they obviously have no care or experience to deal in food allergy’s

The chicken they use is that sloppy wet cheap chicken like stuff!!! Really poor quality ingredients.

Usually good food, but not tonight had special curry chicken was a bit slimey.

Curry was ok but quite thick and more like chip shop curry my sister wasnt impressed nor was she with the chow mein. Noodles very sloppy very overcooked or soaked in something for a long time but loved the chunky veg and meat through noodles. Really enjoyed the beef schezwan, chicken balls & pancake rolls with complementary fortune cookies. Will come again but doubt il order the curry or chow mein
