I always get the Chicken kebab been going every week for the past 2 months it has always been 10/10.

Been a lot of cafes hands down this is the best one I’ve been!

They do the best burgers, I go out of my way to have them from here! They're in a flour bun with the most delicious onions, no one does it like this place. I've had the breakfasts too, amazing, and all the portions are fantastic, highly recommended.

Staff friendly not to busy as it was really after lunch time. Enjoyed my chicken shish. Money well spent by size of portion. A few regulars I guessed as they left. Last owners had a deal with Goldings church to use their parking area. Not sure it still stands.

Popped in for an afternoon bite to eat and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. Natalie was welcoming and so accommodating, which made for a lovely dining experience. I recommend Café Mosaic and would say it is worth popping in to sample their wares.

Delicious food and good portions

We used to love Mosaic cafe amazing breakfast good prices however since this lovely family business has changed hands and redeveloped the menu so sorry to say it’s for the worse. The prices have increased astronomically and when looking at the menu it actually does not make any sense… mushrooms and hash browns costing the same price… very odd. The all day breakfasts are far cheaper than the set breakfasts even for the same ingredients… logically it does not make sense and needs a serious review. Even though you can still have a tea/coffee with the set breakfast they have taken away the toast and removed both from the all day breakfast which was always so nice! The food is still really nice but after all the changes I cannot in good conscious give my money to an establishment that has ruined its own integrity, very sadden wish they had the old staff back too!

The food was great and we have been coming for years ! however the waitress did not clean any tables before anyone sat too eat Lent over you too get things off our table,she also had no protection on. During the time covid 19 I really do not think this is acceptable I will not be returning

no need to test the waters with a bacon roll in this one go straight for the h&c omlette chips and beans or 1/2lb burger .Hygiene 10/10 and a bit free parking out side the news agents opposite, be careful parking on the single yellow line opposite. The parking wardens are like KGB agents around there.

We were met with a warm friendly smile that matched the service perfectly. The Americano coffees were well flavoured and came with hot milk. The table was clean and the floor was swept. Other customers were all enjoying their meals and chatting to several of them they were all very pleased with what they had ordered.

Our family of four stopped here for lunch and though there are a few issues (its cash only, there’s little seating, the food is ok but not great), the service was spot on.

Amazing food, good price, lovely staff

This is our 'boys lunch' venue. Two or three of us meet up here regularly to catch up and enjoy the grub. It's greasy spoon with class! The fry-ups are amazing but they also do a mean jacket potato and salad. It's not a big place but we have always managed to find one table left to sit at. There are also a few tables outside for the strong and the brave! We are never hurried, the prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and efficient. What more could you want?

Dropped in here after driving over 100 miles before breakfast. Was such a lovely atmosphere, everyone seemed to know each other - in a good way! We had the most delicious breakfasts with smoothies & fantastic coffee. Left with groaning stomachs & a warm glow. We're never likely to be in Loughton again, sadly. But if we ever were, we'd make a point of going back!

Fast, friendly, fantabulas - done.

Had lunch here today, home made lasagna and salad, the salad was crisp and fresh and the lasagna was excellent good filling, good sauce and soft fresh pasta. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

My favourite cafe in Loughton friendly service and tasty food for 2 full English 2 coffees and an orange was around £16

Breakfast is great as per previous reviews, however this is where the greatness ends. I wasn't keen on the environment (I felt like I was sitting IN the kitchen). I had a jacket potato that was a unevenly reheated sad potato and not so great coffee.

The previous reviews say it all. Consistently high ratings. You will not be disappointed. Also has Free WiFi 👍

Food quality is okay, usually very busy. The staff are superb very welcoming and friendly. Although they are rushed off their feet they still take the time to have a conversation with you.

Lovely little place with great food 10/10! Service was kind and made lovely conversation while waiting for my food because it was a takeaway. Considering I got there 10 mins before closing time they was still very kind and food not rushed and made just to my liking.

Used to go here weekly but not been for a few months. Went there Saturday 25th March with partner and a friend and the food has terrible. Used to be so nice but going by what they served up on Saturday we will not be going back. Staff are nice and it's always lovely and clean but the food has definately deteriorated.

Place does a wicked breakfast, decent coffee and all with friendly service and a comfortable (if sometimes tight!) seating plan. Always packed on Saturday morning, so get there early or phone and order a take away. Cash only.

Having dropped someone off in Chigwell we were desperate for a coffee and happened to spot Cafe Mosaic. What a happy chance! This is an unpretentious family run cafe and we could do with more like this rather than boring chains. They serve great value tasty food a good value prices, definitely worth a visit.

This is great cafe for first rate, no frills food served promptly and with a friendly smile. Look out for the specials and the wraps. Portions are also large so you'd better be hungry. Prices are very fair. If it's sunny you can sit outside and watch the world go by - or at least the cars anyway!

I frequently stop here for the fry ups & the set breakfasts, which are very tasty and great portion sizes. I also go here for sandwiches to go which are equally as tasty and very convenience to order. I would really recommend as all the staff are friendly, food is great and great value for the money.

A lot of these types of ham, egg and chip cafes are pretty run down and stodgy but this one is clean and well fitted. My girlfriend and I both got the bacon cheese burger with chips. So many chips and a tasty cooked burger to go with it. Good stuff

Looking for somewhere to eat on the way home from a family outing we came across this cafe. Finding somewhere to satisfy two fussy vegetarians, a ravenous teenager and two seniors who "know what they like" isn't easy at any time. This place delivers in spades!It is unpretentious and obviously popular with locals. The menu is outstanding with everything from full breakfasts, sandwiches, pies, jackets to omelettes and tortillas with masses in between! We all enjoyed our food and the omelette got a special mention.The service was fast and friendly, the prices very reasonable and our only problem is that it's quite a distance from where we live!If you are in the area do try this little gem.

I just have two things to say............- Why have I only just found this place after living here for years?!- Why does this little gem only have five (now 6 reviews!)?Love this place, great value, lovely food and an appropriate amount of witty banter thrown in by the staff.Keep up the good work, I will definitely be back for those 'hangover' Halloumi breakfasts!!P.S Only downside is that its not open every day.

Despite its small premises and separated location, Cafe Mosaic has grown into quite a popular little place. Offering a wide variety of breakfasts/lunches to suit all, they provide a speedy, reliable service. Staff could have a little more charisma and welcoming touch but even so this is well worth trying.
