The best restaurants in East of England

Popped in on the off-chance of getting a table for lunch. Staff very helpful & friendly. Food and service great. Definitely will be back.

Highly recommend as I have a phobia of bones in my food. This is the only place I will order fish and chips from. Have never found a bone in their skinless cod fillet

Great food, excellent service and reasonably priced.

We popped in for lunch after shopping in Huntingdon. Friendly greeting, as always, and lovely carvery with turkey and beef. Always good to come here. Just one thing that I have mentioned before - it is in no way the fault of the management, but once again there were three cars in the disabled bays that were not displaying a blue badge. I wish these selfish and inconsiderate people would show some consideration and leave these spaces for those that need them. You may need one yourself one day!

Did the sea shanty festival. Great bands and great atmosphere. Everyone was there to have a good time.

Visited on Tuesday as part of a family get together , was looked after by Lance and Caitlin very well , we were a large group and all felt very looked after even though it was super busy . Would definitely recommend.

Service slow food cold not as good as it used to be atmosphere is not friendly any more.

Megan and Leah were really good, so was the chef. Had a good, sensibly priced meal.The menu was quite varied with the specials. Good experience. We come to Chelmsford every 3 months and stay at a Premier Inn. We'll stay at the Boreham one again and eat at the Grange. Thanks

Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere, really no negative thing to say. Staff were lovely, we both got pizza, both nice. Drink was a little bit on the expensive side but overall would return

Nice place but very lazy staff at bar, waiting queues all the time, dirty toilets and same old music all the time when I been. Never stay too long, didn't enjoy the time

Welcoming staff, nice atmosphere & food arrived quickly. Was a bank holiday so they weren’t doing the lunch menu ?? But food was lovely anyway.

A unique visit for my parents anniversary meal with a power cut. Whilst this may have been an inconvenience to some it was handled so well by the staff who were very attentive. A massive thank you to the man in the white shirt and the young lady with the blonde hair who really made our night. A great evening, with great company, great service all in candle light!

We paid a new visit and I had devil's kidney and black pudding I must admit it was cooked to perfection the staff in there we're very helpful the atmosphere was very good and with their new outside sitting very welcoming I would definitely give it a 9 1/2 out of 10 so if you ever going through the Guinness in Newmarket poppin I think your best surprised

One night stay before a track day, the room was good with plenty of space and good facilities. Looks like a good restaurant and plenty of parking The only issue is it's a bit noisy as it's next to the dual carriageway
