Friday lunch at Wrestlers is an absolute highlight of my week! The food is delicious, hot and the service is lovely!

Great atmosphere, great food, great portions. This is one of the best places for Thai food in Cambridge. Aston and Jock are both a delight, very friendly and offer great service. If you haven’t been here, do yourself the favour and make the trip!

Our go-to lunch spot to reward ourselves after braving Cambridge Retail Park, Beehive Centre, etc. Delicious Thai food in an unpretentious pub. Even after all these years, The Wrestlers still probably gets more new customers through word of mouth than advertising or social media. A hidden gem; I almost don't want to advertise it!

Legendary local venue for Thai food in pub setting; menu has gradually expanded since its early days when it was almost unique and now it may not be one of a kind any more but it's still the original and best. Good range of Charles Wells and guest beer too, enough makes a nice change from the many Greene King pubs in this town 😊

Chill vibes, good food, generous portions & friendly staff…what else do you need?! Well…if you decide you might need something else, the big Tesco (with plenty of parking spots) is right behind the pub…go wild!

From the outside, this just looks like any other old-fashioned pub, but the food is really good - definitely worth looking past the decor and just enjoying the food.

We've been going to the Wrestlers for amazing Thai food for 27 years. Tonight we were lucky enough to get a table at the opening night of their new location (Pattaya Kitchen at The Shed in Lode) - the same delicious Wrestlers food, the same friendly Wrestlers service, exciting and spacious new additional venue! So happy and excited to see the team make a success of this new venture! If you like something spicy don't miss the chicken penang, and if you prefer a milder dish we recommend the beef chow mein noodles or the chicken fried rice. Best Thai food in Cambridgeshire for sure, and such reasonable prices.

This pub has served Thai food for more than 30 years. Mid-week it still maintains a nice pub vibe with delicious food, served promptly. From the outside looks grubby...don't be mislead.

Walked in to a nice greeting, place has seen better days, ordered a Timothy Taylor landlord which wasn't very nice (my Fav Beer).... Ordered a seafood chow mien which was the blandest Meal I think I've ever eaten, no soy, no sesame oil nothing, just pan fried noodles veg and seafood, wife had Sweet and Sour chicken which again was not good. Terrible £40 for myself and my wife, one drink each... Could have ordered a banquet from a take away. .

In my opinion, this is the best Thai food you can find in Cambridge. Super good food, tasty and not expensive at all. I've come here many times and it always exceeds my expectations.

Fantastic Thai food. We had a group of 9, no issues booking the table or with the speed of service. Food was fantastic. Some of the group found it too spicy, even at mild, but that's personal taste. 100% will go back again Pud itself has no actual parking, but there's plenty around with 2 - 3 hours free

I love wrestlers. I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years. Every time I come back I make it a point to grab a pint and some red curry with my friends that still live in town. Aston’s always there to help and laugh at our banter.

Great food, great beer always full whenever I go.

I entered the pub hungry and thirsty, and left completely satisfied. The selection of beers is extensive, and each one is a delight. The food? Absolutely out of this world! Every bite was a testament to the Thai cuisine and its excellence. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. I can't find a single fault with this place. Actually, I can-if only I could eat there everyday!

what can I say, we decided to buy a takeaway as a bit of a thankyou for the guys redoing our bathrooms, fantastic, the food is just superb, by a country mile the best thai in Cambridge, service great, quick, easy, absolutely fantastic, they loved it too. One guy had never had thai before, he's now a convert, terrific, can't wait until the end of next month, chenin blanc not bad too

Wrestlers are forever on the list of places to eat in Cambridge! The food : The Thai green curry never disappoints, it has the perfect amount of spice and amount of chicken. The Pud Thai with chicken was juicy and full of flavour. The service: Always friendly, attentive and happy. The menu options are great, perfect for fussy eaters and dietary requirements as you can pick and choose.

Wasn’t too sure going in, but oh so glad we went in. Food was pipping hot and delicious 😋 we ordered a chicken thai green curry and spicy seafood stir fry. Both came with a plate of rice. Only slight thing to note was that the mussels in the seafood wasn’t cleaned, it still had the gritty thing inside it, which did mean i had to spit it out. And leave the rest of the mussels on my plate untouched.

The Wrestler is one of the best Thai restaurants/pubs in Cambridge. This is a pub that has been serving Thai food for a long, long time. We have been going to the Wrestlers since before the Tesco or the Retail park were build, when you used to have to park alongside Newmarket Road. Their food has always been exceptionally good and continues to be so. As it’s a pub, there is also always a very good selection of well kept real ales on tap. If you love Thai food, real ale and great service, then the Wrestlers is the place to go.

This place is an absolute gem. Great beer and tasty, reasonably priced Thai food. What's not to like? It speaks volumes that I went on a Wednesday evening at 7pm and the place was full with a great atmosphere.

I'll never get tired of eating here. It's, without a doubt, one of the best value for the money restaurants, not only from Cambridge, but from all of the restaurants I've visited in my life. The Tom Ka soup, my favourite, the pud Thai and the fried rice are absolutely outstanding and the service alway kind, efficient and very professional. Everybody should come and try the wonderful food here. Thank you, staff, for giving us so much!

The Wrestlers is one of my favourite Thai places, and my go-to local pub. The food is excellent (although I always request the curries as mild because they’re quite spicy!) and the atmosphere is super laid back and friendly. Service can be slow when they’re busy but they’ll usually warn you beforehand if that’s the case and the people who work there are very kind.

We had a delicious meal at the wrestlers last night, the omelette and panang were amazing and the pad Thai was 🙌 Can’t wait to be back!

The food here is excellent, and the portion sizes are very generous. It’s now one of our favourites, and parking is very easy in the Tesco round the corner. The place can get noisy, because it suffers from the modern scourge of having no soft furnishings like curtains or carpets to soak up the sound, so try and visit when it’s quieter

Wow found this pub on google maps as we were staying in the area, what a find fantastic food and a good choice of well kept beers. Highly recommended. Need to book packed at 18:45. Definitely going back next time we’re in the area

The food is way beyond my initial expectation! I ordered sweet and sour pork that comes with jasmine rice. For drink I had premium swedish cider which tastes refreshing as well. It was crowded when we came but the waiter managed to find us a table. Definitely a repeat for me.

Best place in town for delicious Thai food. Been going here years and always very good. Staff are friendly and it's a great atmosphere. The Thai crackers are very tasty. Thanks to the family who've been running it for so long, for many a fab night out. Will definitely carry on visiting.

Great as usual. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful and the food is just amazing. The chilly is extremely hot,(green/red thai curry) but thely can make it mild. Once you go there, you want to go again.

Seemed like if you just randomly had popped in, like we did, for a drink, you were met by a Chinese man who was only interested in selling you food. We had never set foot inside the place before, we didn't eat as we had already eaten. But the food did look good and we will return and eat there another day. P.S the young woman behind the bar who served us our drinks was very pleasant and accommodating.

The Wrestlers is one of the best thai place in Cambridge (there is not too many, but still :-) ). Food is tasty, my favourite is green curry. One thing which I really like about The Wrestlers is how this place combines pub atmosphere with Thai food. Parking is not on premises but you can park at Tesco or across the road.

Brilliant place. Found it on the spur of the moment - my partner and I were a bit dubious about the place at first but walking into the pub on a Friday night it was buzzing with activity. We were lucky to get one of only two tables left for the evening and I'm pleased we did. The food was not only authentic but plentiful! The staff were really helpful and polite - the atmosphere made the evening! Can't recommend it enough!

By far the best Thai i've ever eaten in (and I've tried them all). The food is outstanding, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked and consistently perfect (we eat here all the time and every plate is always perfect). Even better though the atmosphere is great and the service is flawless. Reading this you could be thinking that I'm reviewing a high end restaurant. I'm not it's a traditional pub and it does exactly what it says on the tin but for quality, service and friendliness it is a match for any restaurant i've ever been to no matter how expensive.

Very busy Thai pub. The reason it's very busy is that the food is superb. The service is quick. I've tried a few things on the menu, all have been excellent so far. The only problem I have is that we're in and finished in less than 30-45 mins. The wooden floor and tables give the pub a certain stark look, the acoustics are quute loud. However, I will continue to go there because of the food and the good beer. Even takeaway is always a great option.

Food was incredible, was reluctant to try Thai food as its not usually my favourite but this place changed my mind, was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend.

Nice surprise to find good Thai food in a pub. Staff were great, prices reasonable and food delicious. They are happy to make the food to your spice level. I like spicy and it definitely came with some punch. It feels more like a restaurant than a pub as most people were eating and it seems to be local people mainly dining there. Definitely worth a stop for a bite.
