Cafe Camtown in Cambridge

Really lovely little café. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff are lovely. The portions are also large. Would recommend the Turkish Breakfast!

I did not expect to find such a coffee shop in what is essentially a residential area. The atmosphere was brilliant. The coffee was great. Ideal for a break from the mainsyream, high-street coffee shops. Plus, I don't think you will find many tourists here, so you can enjoy a coffee in a nice and quiet place.

Food is amazing, staff are awesome! Now it's in the different location, I can't fault this place. It's deffo a regular place for a coffee and the occasional breakfast!!

Had a lovely cuppa & bacon baguette here. Staff were helpful regarding allergies also. Will definitely be going back !

Good coffee and breakfast, efficient service, friendly staff. I like my coffee extra hot, and most cafes fail to make us hot enough, but here the coffee was perfect: extra hot but not overcooked. Free WiFi worked well.

Great cafe serving a variety of freshly cooked tasty food: Breakfasts, burgers, paninis. The Turkish and English Breakfasts are to be recommended 😀. Variety of hot and cold drinks.

Lovely little cafe with excellent, friendly service. My family and I have become regulars, coming at least once a week. The toilet is extremely clean at all times, the food quality is excellent, coffee is also very good. The staff are very friendly.

Super friendly atmosphere really nice staff and good food! Told them I was vegan and they understood exactly what I meant and gave me extra food on the side because we had to swap out some items! Definitely coming back!

A great place to eat and rest. The staff are friendly and do their best to keep the customer happy! The food is delicious and coffee was great. I spilled my coffee and they offered me another one - and when I tried to pay it they didn't accept to double charge me. In general I had a really nice time over there!

Great little cafe. I had a Turkish Veggie Breakfast with was very good. Excellent and quick serviced and good value for money.

UPDATE : NOW CLOSED. Great little cafe now under Turkish management. Great selection of food, especially the full English breakfast which is fab. The staff are very friendly and the prices are very competitive. Will go again. On a side note, they do takeaway & delivery via deliveroo etc.

We had the best coffees and omelets here. We came twice on our visit to the area.

We love this place, most definitely our favourite. Such a shame they had to move from Buchan Street due to the council building more apartments. At least they are not too far away. Breakfast rolls/ baguettes are amazing and their coffee is so good

Went there for breakfast today. It was a good decision. It's a lovely, tidy and clean place. The food was of a good portion size as I had a vegetarian breakfast and my friend enjoyed her Turkish breakfast. There are some seating arrangements outside under the mature trees, within the community setting overall, it felt quite welcoming.

This little cozy cafe is a beautiful addition to the neighborhood. They serve good breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and more, good to see the they have Turkish breakfast on the menu. Very positive having this little shops around and out of the city centre. Excellent service

Really good food, especially for the price point and portion size. Had the Turkish breakfast with meat, nice presentation and came with a small baton of bread. The hummus and couscous were particularly flavourful. Choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Off the beaten track a bit, but as such it has a quiet and quite chill atmosphere. Staff left us alone once food was received, which may not be to everyone's taste, but someone was at the til to assist. No every charge for having non dairy milk.

Just had a delightful morning coffee with my grandson here. The baklava is really good. The service is friendly. The new premises are good. It is nice to be able to come to the Camtown café after a three month wait!

Just didn't like it. I had full English one egg was snotty the other way overdone ,bacon was streaky and overcooked, sausages ,mushrooms was nice Hashbrown was soggy and toast was okay but cold.

We came from Bedford & Luton to visit Cambridge Mosque for Fajr. The brother had only just opened the shop at 7:30am and we were the first customers. He gave us A1 customer service, the food was excellent and the prices were great! Full English for 2 for with drinks for less than £18! We really appreciated how quickly they made our food and the atmosphere in the cafe was great! Cozy and rustic. May Allah place Barakah in this Cafe. Highly recommend if you’re in Cambridge and looking for a Halal Breakfast!!

A decent, no nonsense little cafe, located and easily accessed from the main road, that does Full English Breakfasts throughout the day. Recommend anything with Bacon on their menu!

Coffee was amazing, Illy coffee. Cakes were great and it felt safe for an lgbt couple.

Whether it's just a coffee or a full meal or a full meal, This place is a Most It's local ,good fresh real food cooked well. The staff are fantastic always friendly.

Ok. Veggie breakfast was nothing special, probably overpriced compared to some I've had. The staff were great, polite etc. Nothing here to draw me back, but nothing bad either.

I eat here often and the food is always amazing!! I highly recommend the breakfast roll and the omelet’s high quality food and very clean establishment the Staff are friendly and helpful I’d recommend eating here it truly is a diamond in the rough

An amazing little place. Very cute. Full English is excellently priced. Just a 3min drive from the Cambridge premier inn (10-15min) walk. Highly recommend eating here. The full English is priced greatly and they don’t mind swapping out items. Also they do beef sausages (which taste great) and Turkey bacon. The guy that served us was very nice.

It’s the fourth time I have my breakfast here and was perfect again. I’m just visiting the area and staying near them for their breakfast.

We eat here occasionally when visiting family. Friendly staff and well prepared fresh food. I recommend the 'Turkish breakfast". Quite a feast. Paninis etc all good and the vanilla milkshake they made for grand daughter was super.

The best falafel wrap I have had! Fresh, hot (I mean temperature) which I always appreciate. Simply delicious! And the staff are super friendly and smilling. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Great cafe close to motorway. All day breakfast. Would have liked to put the butter on my own toast. No marmalade. Lovely interior lights and colours. Seating was functional . Benches or seats. Parking close by. Staff weren't too friendly but it seemed a popular place for locals.

I’ve been a few times but it’s seems when there less quiet there prices are higher, each time I’ve been it seems to get more expensive even tho I order the same order each time, the staff are rude and don’t know a lot of the English language would find somewhere else to eat

Freshly cooked breakfast, lovely food

When me and my business associate arrived we were greeted with a sour hello and as the woman had asked what we would want to order just as soon as we get to the till. I had came here few weeks ago and had high expectations but was people presented with a messy interior and sticky tables.. Nevertheless we ordered our food as that’s what we were looking for. The panini I had ordered bland and flavourless and my partner had complained about the lack of cutlery around us. Although I would never come here again, I give Cafe Camtown a respected 3/5.

We were near to last, if not the very last customers. I love their largest breakfast. However on this occasion did not taste so good, as not all freshly cooked and toast barely done. Eggs great. I know what standard they normally put up. So wont stop going. Mental note not near end of day, earlier definately better. Maybe because they may have cleaned everything down already. Cafe tucked out of way. People there are lovely. Look forward to seeing them again (earlier in day) in the New Year. X

We were staying at the nearby Premier Inn and didn’t want breakfast there so looked around for other local options. We spotted Cafe Camtown on the map and thought we would give it a try as it was only a few minutes drive away. We were really glad we did as it was excellent. We ended up going all 3 mornings of our stay. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. We all had different things but all were well cooked and tasty. We particularly loved the omelettes and the hot chocolate.
