Nice place, but coffee too bitter... They need to learn from hot numbers, dulcedo, etc .. or re assess where they source their beans or who is roasting them. Room for improvement

The coffee was excellent and the full English breakfast is out of this world. I would definitely recommend this place for people to eat. The staff are really friendly and it's a well kept place

My family and I have been regulars since this place first opened. Like a second home. Great and friendly staff and the daily soups are amazing.

The food was very nice, good full English breakfast. The coffee was excellent. The porridge was ok but was not thick enough for my preference but was otherwise nice. It was a really pleasant place to relax and the staff were friendly.

Have gluten-free etc options but the food is very bland and disappointing, despite using decent ingredients. Their coffee is terrible, I know only one place in Cambridge which serves worse brew than this. Won’t come again.

A cozy little place on Histon road with a range of options to suit your breakfast, lunch or brunch needs. Smiling faces combined with a quick and polite service make this a sought after place on weekends. Remember to let the hostess know if you want your coffee a little strong!

Great little café. The coffee is good and comes in generous sizes. They have a lot of different food options as well but I haven't tried that yet.

What a fab little cafe. Me and my partner found this little gem when visiting Cambridge. Lots of food choices, be it vegan or meaty. Had a full english fry up and a O.J one of the best fry ups we have had in along time. Really enjoyed. If ever back around thag area we are defo heading back.

We always go for coffee with my friends. I didn't try anything else.

Cute little cafe. Friendly staff. Good service. A good range of menu items but there wasn't a huge range of cakes and pastries when I went, however what I had was very nice. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian and gluten free options. There is seating but is laid out in a way that is friendlier to an individual rather than a group, although it's not bad and can be moved around to an extent if needed. Good coffee and made quickly too. Interior decor is nice. Would happily go again.

This is a local Caffe with a great variety of customers. All ages and classes of people pop in, some to meet a friend, mother's with children after school, workmen come in for lunch. They have children's drawings on the wall. The food is good, some of it baked on the premises, some bought in. You can have lunch or breakfast, or just something to drink. Lovely welcoming staff.

Brilliant non chain cafe with the best coffee in town! The full breakfast was delicious... quality food. I have found my coffee and brunch haven when I next go shopping.

Stopped for lunch while on a walking tour of Cambridge. Good selection of sandwiches, paints, cakes and coffees. Very busy for the location and well covered for Covid19 restrictions. A mix of students and local families gave the placea warm feel.

We love this place. The coffee is excellent, cakes are delicious. Full breakfasts and all else wonderful. Locally sourced meat. Own blend of coffee. Staff are wonderfully friendly - it is a family business. They love dogs, too! We go 3 or 4 times a week.

Popped in at the Coffee tree whilst waiting for my MOT next door. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. All the cakes and pastries looked so good I couldn’t resist and opted for the vegan sausage roll, which in my opinion, was probably the best I’ve had so far! Coffee was good too. Can safely say that I will definitely be popping by again!

This has to be the worst food I have ever eaten in Cambridge .. nothing else to add ,wouldn’t go back if you paid me

Very good toasted sough dough with avocado and two poached eggs. Tasty!! Good selection of cakes and quality soft drinks plus tea and coffee. What a find - really lovely little spot although on busy main road. Helpful and pleasant staff.

Bright and modern cafe, plenty of choice of both food and drinks, but the full English Breakfast was the reason we called in. Glad we did, it was one of the best I've had!

Me decidí por el pastel de queso polaco con merengue en la parte superior, ya que se veía delicioso, pero estaba desaprobando y sin sabor. Era muy pesado y seco, con una extraña textura de guijarros que absorbía la humedad de mi boca. No pude terminarlo aunque tenía hambre. No tiene una buena relación calidad-precio.Esto estaba desapareciendo, ya que los pasteles suelen ser muy agradables en esta cafetería. Tal vez solo tuve mala suerte hoy.

Really enjoyed having lunch here outside in the gardens. Food was lovely and quick. Service was great with very polite staff. Made our day even better.

It's a family-run cafe, and they make almost everything themselves. Really lovely service and the food is usually very good.

I love this cafe, I go there to work quietly. This is an independent family run business worth supporting. I always feel welcome and looked after when I go there. They serve delicious food and don't try to cut corners on the quality of the sandwich fillings. Their bread is always super fresh. Apart from a couple of cakes, everything is home made. My favourites are their Thai soup and their blueberry tart. My 3 children love this place too. The service is great and their staff is always smiley. Highly recommended

I’ve been there a few times for short business meetings with clients. Very nice coffee and cakes, polite staff and comfortable seating. They should change their signboard though... it doesn’t give the place justice. Looks a bit cheap although it is better than most cafes in Cambridge.

This coffee shop is convenient if you're shopping at Aldi or have another reason to be in the area - as it's a little outside the city centre. I loved the soups and salads, which are served with some nice homemade bread. So I assumed the homemade sandwiches would be just as nice and worth spending more on that you would getting similar foods at the store. But, if you don't pay the extra for homemade bread, you get very generic store bread. For 4.50 or 4.70, this is pretty bad value for a sandwich - I could get a chicken salad sandwich at Tesco for 2.20 that tastes the same. And their sandwiches don't come with crisps or anything else on the side. You can see their normal sandwich and their homemade cheesecake in the photo I included. Coffee is lovely and so are their smoothie - not cheap at 450 but freshly made. Homemade cheesecake was nice but probably not worth the 3.10 I paid for it- not a very big slice. I've not tried any of their other cakes or their breakfasts, so can't comment on their value. But I'd come back again for their soup and/or coffee.

I really enjoyed this quiet, convenient, and flexible cafe. It has a low table with small chairs for very young children as well as some toys for them and good drinks and snacks appropriate for their tastes. The tea for grown-ups was good, and the pastries had such a wide selection, including multiple vegan-friendly and gluten-free options (neither of which interested me, but hey--I appreciate the effort!). Professional, welcoming layout with loads of power points around the room for laptops.

I popped in for a jacket potato with cheese and asked to take it away. After reeling from the shock of paying £5 for a jacket potato, I decide to wait as it could be worth the price - it wasn't. After ten minutes I was handed a potato that had obviously been microwaved with a small amount of butter and a tiny bit of cheese and nothing else. No salad, garnish or dressing. If you don't usually do takeaway food, then don't offer this as an option. As a result will never go back

Just popped in while getting my tyres changed at ATS and wow, what a lovely little independent coffee shop. It's always important to seek out these places and support the local economy. Really friendly service, lovely coffee and great panini.

Full English Breakfast is average but the handmade cakes are delicious. Nice atmosphere for children with toys and small chairs/table available.

Don't let the signage on the front (which I don't think does it justice) put you off, nor the fact it is on a fairly busy road, this is a friendly cafe run by a local family with some great food and great coffee on offer!

Three stars for average. Great service and food & drinks came out fast. Coffee is not strong, full English breakfast is good but not remarkable. Overall was kinda expensive. Maybe come back if I ran out of things to do on a cloudy Saturday.

Conveniently located on main road from Kings Hedges into Cambridge City. Excellent selection of breakfast items. Friendly, efficient service. Clean toilet.

A little coffee shop on the Histon Road. Nice enough coffee, hot chocolates etc. A pleasant place to sit relax and watch the world go by. In my view the food is a bit over priced. £3.65 for a bacon roll. One roll, one bit of bacon. Honestly? Apart from that I come here for a coffee quite often. I just won't eat here again.

A small local coffee shop that does decent coffee and you some grab some food too. A little expensive but Cambridge is an expensive town

We popped in for lunch while visiting my son in Cambridge. Not overly easy to park nearby but there was a great selection of dandwiches and fillings and all the cakes looked great.

Friendly cafe with nice cakes, breakfast options and simple meals for lunch. Could be crowded at times, but well worth waiting. Family friendly.

Great for pastries, paninis and full English. Newspapers, unobtrusive music, comfortable seats. Really nice staff too... That's about it!
