Great food, atmosphere and service!

What can I say - it reminds me of home! The vaguely antiseptic smell notwithstanding, the food is delicious. I love coming here for brunch. Not a lot of places in Cambridge so south and north Indian breakfast dishes. Tiffin truck stands out. Recommend their aloo paratha, dosa, idli, breakfast thali, and chai. I don't like their curries as much - those seem to be a bit westernised sadly

Having just come back from India, I had a craving for good vegan Indian food, and Tiffin Truck didn't disappoint! They have plenty of options and were even able to accommodate some requests when it comes to food allergens, very kind of them! My new favourite is Masala Dosa, yum!

Had a fantastic meal at The Tiffin Truck in Cambridge with friends. The food was excellent, with the okra starter and Chicken 65 standing out as real highlights, perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. The rest of the meal was equally impressive, with bold spices and authentic Indian street food vibes. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely a spot worth visiting again! Ps. Try the Indian coffee!

Our first visit to The Tiffin Truck, we were visiting Cambridge. A great real Indian restaurant, we'll definitely be back whenever we visit the city. It was busy on the Sunday evening we were there. Two of us shared mini-samosas a chicken biryani & an okra curry. All dishes were top quality, really well flavoured. Service was efficient & friendly, prices very reasonable. The food is quite good, the right amount of taste, spicy. The place is quite nice and cozy. The service is excellent, everyone is nice.

Absolutely delicious food, excellent value

After a long day of exploring Cambridge, my wife and I happened to come across this joint. It far exceeded our expectations. The food was "soul food" quite literally. Finishing off with a great cup of masala tea is exactly what we needed to top off what was a great day indeed!

Came here during a chilly visit to Cambridge. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff super friendly. I had a Thali with black pepper chicken curry. Everything was so tasty and the portions were definitely generous. Husband had the prawn curry with naan. Honestly the Thali is a much better deal. Would definitely come again.

Really had a great experience at Tiffin Truck. Went there for a b'day Celebration with my friend. Tried a lot of Indian Varieties which was awesome in taste with traditional south indian style preparation. Especially the masala dosa * i liked it a lot. And the Ghee beef roast was also very tasty. Enjoyed the munchiness of pani puri after a long time. It's worth the money

I took my parents to this restaurant. They were visiting me from India. They loved the food and the atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. They had a great time. I will definitely visit again.

Butter chicken is tasty but spicy ! It’s not meant to be spicy at all, so I was very surprised about that. It’s a shame because it’s my favorite dish so I won’t order from there again..

First time, and really impressed. The food was excellent and service was genuine and friendly. From what appeared to be a proper family run business, these guys were organised and quietly knew what they served would impress. Atmosphere was relaxed and natural. Will eat there again, very soon.

I am so happy to write this review regarding my experience with the tiffin truck. We had ordered some desi food, but the best part is about desi cocktails. They were mind blowing. Hattsoff to ARSHIN who prepared it. OMG, that lad is so damn talented. My hubby was very impressed with his mixes. We ordered boose mango Lassi and chai Martini. I am not a rum fan, but I really enjoyed every sip of it. Chai martini is for all the chai lovers, too good Arshin, you’re blending is top notch dude. All the very best for your journey.

Absolutely delicious food. Great value for money. Not many places you can get a drink and food for under £20 of this high quality. I can’t wait to come back when I’m more hungry to try more dishes.

Excellent service. The team was very prompt and got all the food really fast. Food was well made. We ordered a mix of things but our favourite was the crispy kale chaat! Would try a few more things the next time we are in town!

Just a wonderful meal - the food was incredible (mama’s pepper chicken a particular favourite) with really interesting dishes you don’t see in your average Anglo-Indian restaurant, such reasonable prices, good portions and lovely staff in a great atmosphere! Cannot fault it, we only wish we were more local to come back here more often, thank you very much!

Came here for a meal while I was visiting my friends in Cambridge. The Tiffin Truck provided a new experience, different from the traditional balti houses that I usually go to back in Birmingham. The menu gave me the chance to try lots of new authentic Indian dishes, all of them were home made with fresh ingredients. The Tiffin Truck is a hidden gem for all curry lovers visiting Cambridge. 10 out of 10.

Wonderful vegetarian/vegan selection at the Tiffin Truck! The crispy okra is delicately spiced, crunchy, light & not greasy at all, chilli paneer is flavoursome with good quantity of paneer & peppers, masala dosa is exquisite, bite size samosas pack a punch, little tikkis deliciously moreish, kale chaat is out of this world - beautifully crispy, crunchy kale & puffed rice smothered in yogurt & sauce! The tea is a must especially on cold days, amazing spices dance on your tongue without being overpowering. I would definitely return when am back in Cambridge - great food & waiting staff just amazing, very helpful imparting knowledge & information, extremely polite & add positive vibes to the ambience. You must try this place!!!

If I could give The Tiffin Truck six stars, I would—one extra for the sheer joy it brought to my soul (and stomach)! I had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Biryani, and let me tell you, I’m convinced there’s a chef in the kitchen who whispers sweet nothings to the spices because the flavours were unreal. The butter chicken was so creamy and rich that I considered proposing to it. And the lamb biryani? Perfectly spiced, fragrant, and so tender it practically wrote me a love letter with every bite. Service? Spot on. Friendly staff, quick service, and a warm atmosphere. If you haven’t eaten here yet, what are you doing with your life? Drop everything and go. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you.

We dined here twice. First time for dinner and next time for breakfast. Food is delicious. We were seeking South Indian dishes and cherished the food. We tried masala dosa, hot chutney dosa, and chai; all were tasty. Next morning we went for dosa, sambar vada and aloo paratha. Aloo paratha was amazing, and we had to place multiple orders. Highly recommended!

It was alright...ordered two Thali, one with lamb curry and another with butter chicken...I liked dal makhani and lamb curry..the rest was just ok.. The cafe has a nice atmosphere and can host big groups. Masala chai was quite good...but they boil it without sugar, so just add to taste
