I'm from Yorkshire visiting my son in Swaffam Bulbeck. The Classic Spice provided the best curry I've had in aong time. The service was great and very friendly. Cannot praise it enough.

We had two curries both of which tasted great but seemed to be very high levels of oil in the takeaway container (even for a takeaway). They did nice but would be more appealing without the layer of oil on top.

I've just had the most amazing Lamb Bhuna curry with mushroom rice. The Chef is a winner 😁 It was a take away, we paid cash at the door, but gave too much and they returned it. Very honest and friendly

Lovely meal dining in. Great taste and variety. 6 of us went out, Doggie bag of food required to take home for at least one of us. There was plenty of food and a good price.

Disgusting service. Lied several times on the phone and took over 2 hours to arrive - as a result was cold when arrived - offered no refund - avoid using this place!

We just had another excellent take away! The fish and the meat, in particular the tandoori chicken and the lamb, were succulent and spiced to perfection. Highly recommended!

A group of us went for a booked early dinner to make allowance for subsequent longer distance travel. It was excellent. The food was hot and tasty and without excess oil. This is quite a small restaurant and it is not licenced. The Co-op next door sells wine and beer which you can take in. Staff were friendly and the food was cooked and delivered quickly

I loved every part of my meal, so did my partner. I had tandoori chicken to start then Lamb jalfrezz, my partner had a mackerl bhaji and tandoori chicken. We would recommend this. The service was very good, attentive polite etc. The waiter/owner no 100% sure, gave us a lift to our accomadtion as he said the taxi's take ages, that was a lovely kind thoughtful thing to do. If i was in that area again i would most definelty go again.

Customer service was awful!!! We as told fully booked no one was in there!!! Then was told he was to busy to look after us!!! Tuesday night and just the 2 of us!!!! Then he said it was yo loud and we wouldn’t enjoy our meal!!!! You are a joke.

Theres a reason why classic got their award, top class Indian food. Mixed kaban main was to die for. My father had spiced lamb shank. Plenty on that one, he remarked.!

Overpriced for the quality of food received. Cheap ingredients, not authentic and unimpressed by dishes we ordered. Starter was supposed to be a nice medley of veg options, but consisted of cheap onion, potato bhajis and only 1 samosa. Veg dishes we ordered appeared to use the same base sauce but using different veg. Best thing was the naan bread, hence 3 stars. Will not be ordering again, sorry :-(

The whole order was great but the staff curry is incredible

The portion size of the Chicken Tikka has dramatically decreased. The main is now smaller than other restaurants starter portion. Shame as the food is lovely.

Had a bad experience tonight, current menus that we were given are a totally different price to what we were charged. New prices are a LOT higher. They have also started charging for corkage. This is bad form and we should of been made aware of it. Feel like we were stitched up ! Used this place so many times, but starting to take the mickey with the cost increases and false charging. One positive the Food was good. Check your bills !

I found this restaurant by accident. What a find. Absolutely the best Indian meal I have ever tasted in my life. I really cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a tiny place in a tiny village outside of Cambridge.

The award winning lamb shank is delicious, chicken momos flavoursome and everything fresh and expertly prepared. A really special culinary experience!

Visit this restaurant when visiting friends in the village. We visited in November 2021 and the food was really yummy! Staff were friendly/attentive and it was just a lovely meal with good friends. Thank you to all the staff. Will defo be back when next visiting our friends.

Great food, best Indian I’ve had around here

I’m a long ordering customer and love their food however when I ordered the tandoori king prawns I was expecting more than two. Was a little disappointed but the food quality was lovely.

The staff are friendly it's very clean and the best the best Indian restaurant I've ever been too.

So lovely! The people who work here are so lovely and the food is amazing, the portions are huge I had to take most of my curry home!! I felt bad that they might think I didn’t like it, but I did! Always get take aways from here but thought we would go in this time and so glad we did, they are lovely people. Thank you!

Food is absolutly delicious! My family and i especially enjoyed the chicken dansak, chicken tikka biriyani and the daal. We will definitely order from here again and try other dishes.

We had one of the best Indian meals in this unassuming restaurant on a quiet Sunday evening and loved every aspect of the experience. Situated in a small village this place is truly a hidden gem as the food and service was outstanding. Lots to choose from and price was good to. Definitely worth a return visit

Pre ordered at 5pm for a 7.30 delivery, yet still delivered 35 mins late.

Had several curries from here now and always pleased with our food, lamb has been cooked to perfection every time and delivery has always been pretty good. Our new regular takeaway place even with the few in Newmarket, this one is one of the best we’ve had and will continue ordering from here. Thank you

Late, Cold and Tasteless. have worked all day and looked forward to a nice curry, never been so disappointed for £26. ended up throwing away and doing egg on toast. thought Just eat food had got better and classic spice might have been nice. Never again will I order from here. if I could give no stars I would.
