Food quality is very high. I would only ask for more sauce with the Beef B main.

Had a lovely afternoon on Saturday. Big group of us and food came quickly and was hot.

Nik was very polite, clear with his manner and words. Great food to eat in a relaxing environment. Recommend the food and the service

My husband and I had a lovely meal and drinks on my birthday recently. We couldn't fault the Coy Carp as everything was excellent. Keep up the good work, we'll be back soon and would definitely recommend.

We had a family meal here last night for 20 people. From start to finish such excellent service. Really helpful before replying to emails and sectioning off part of the pub. We pre ordered the food, all came out together, piping hot and delicious. Everyone commented how lovely the food was, how efficient the staff were and a beautiful place! Big thank you to all the staff!

Megan was very welcoming and attentive. However I had the crab cake to start which was supposed to come with mayo but no mayo … followed by roast turkey and stuffing but no stuffing… so although what I had was nice, I was disappointed with what was missing from the plate

Nik and collauges were very nice, offered good service and courteous. Atmosphere was nice. Scallops were not worth it, slightly over done and small portion for the cost.

First meal at the Coy Carp after several years without visiting - met by a welcoming and friendly team and a particular thank you to our waitress, Iri, who was very pleasant and helpful throughout our meal. The food was well presented and very enjoyable and we'd have no hesitation in returning, hopefully in the very near future. Highly recommend. Thanks to all.

Helena served us today, she was very friendly and attentive and explained some of the sauces we were considering.

We had our wedding reception here and everything was perfect. The staff were so accommodating and Kourtney was so helpful throughout the process of choosing the menu and drinks we wanted. Jess was brilliant on the day with making sure all of our guests had everything they needed. The food was also very tasty with great portions.

Our food tonight came with generous portion sizes, which made up for the fair price of meals. Plenty of choices to choose from, including vegetarian options and our dietary requirements were double checked. Orders came quickly and food was delicious. Again, a big thank you to Helena, who served us today and welcomed us with a bright smile, positive attitude and ready to accommodate. Will definitely be back again. Would recommend.

We have received excellent and attentive service from Nik. Food was amazing the skewers both halloumi and lamb were very generous portions with a fabulous side complimenting it. It was topped off with a very cozy atmosphere. Will deffo be returning.

if I was to be served the roast I had in the restaurant... I would of got up and left disgusted waste of money tiny portion, starter was uncooked soggy hallomi fries and undercooked chicken bites in the bin

Had the trio roast for 2 and it was brilliant. No item tasted bad or bland and quite possibly the best pub roast I've ever had. Really friendly staff very quick service and all round good visit! A lovely evening. Excellent starters. Main meals: Pizza, Pork Belly & Burger. Pizza & pork were very good. In fact the pork was amazing as was the mash (cheesy with spring onions). Only slight let down was the chips with the burger - slightly hard/undercooked. Lastly we were looked after by the lovely Irina - the drinks/food came fast!

Helena served us- was excellent. The food was really flavoursome and tasty. Seven year old described it as “exquisite”. We had the lamb, the sea bass and the kids meal and it was all fresh and good. It took a while to come but apparently that’s because the lamb takes longer.

We had a su day roast with 4 adults and one 3 year old the food was lovely the food for the 3 year old was lovely

The food is always ok here, never my first choice locally. Normally the service is dreadful, slow and mistake ridden but tonight we had a lovely, very professional server - Helena - and had no issues whatsoever.

Nice pub, right on the canal, with pretty view across the basin. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Our waitress, Helena, was super efficient, friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome . Always lovely food here but today, sadly, a chunk of the tough outer skin of roasted garlic ended up in the mushroom starter which was a bit off-putting as very hard and unpleasant. Apart from that the beetroot arancini was superb and the fishcakes were delicious. I come here a lot with friends, either for lunch or dinners, as we always have a great time.

We were served by Helena who made the whole experience very enjoyable because of her helpful and delightful manner. Will definitely recommend to friends. In particular we enjoyed the bacon chop with the large serving of pineapple. Really excellent.
