We both had the rib eye medium rare but just a little bit too rare and so full of fat it had to be replaced

Excellent steak options, best place to indulge into a satisfying meal and drinks with plenty of options to sit inside or outside. Brilliant service and the location. Felt like coming to a premium place and enjoying the great ambiance. They have added new stuff into the menu so plenty of options for veggies also.

Quality steak, quality location, super decor and ambience, and staff who truly "get it". What a lovely restaurant! I want to single out our lovely server, Rosa, who was simply outstanding. What a joy. Can't wait to return to this particular "Prime Steak & Grill, it's my current favourite!

The food was underwhelming and a little on the cooler side. I like my sirloin steak a bit on the warm side. All the sides were extras except for the chips making it a pricey meal. The service was not 5* as the got the plated dishes mixed up at the table by the two ladies. ....not something I feel justified from such an establishment. The chef's in between course of paramasen mini rolls was a disappointment as no creative skills were demonstrated and again were not pipping warm. Not sure if I will return in a hurry.

Amazing place. Perfectly cooked steak, great choices for adults and kids. We had 4 kids meals. Various steaks and Veggie option. Cheese cake , ice cream and sundaes for dessert, happy with every dish that came out!

Best restaurant locally and rivals anything you get in London. My go to for steak! Pecan pie is best dessert Staff are always awesome and the service is warm and hospitable. Kids love it too and always want to go for roast and steak!

Very disappointing meal. Four steaks ordered and three just weren’t cooked properly. Ended up with a plate of blood/juice within minutes. If a steak restaurant doesn’t know how to rest a steak then god help them. Creamed spinach came out as a congealed lump and was obviously heated up in the microwave. Carrots were nice, as were the Beetroot starters, which doesn’t bode well for a place that supposedly specialises in meat,

Had a lovely steak meal here. I had fillet and my wife had serloin. Both done to perfection! The range of side dishes are really good and the desserts are lovely! It gets very noisy in there with so many people talking, that we had difficulty hearing each other. But not a lot can be done about that. The only critisizm was that being a busy Saturday night, the small car park could not cope with the numbers and cars were queuing outside with nowhere on the road to park, either. This meant we were 15mins late for our table booking, despite arriving at the location 10mins early!. If we had known beforehand about the car parking issue, we would have booked a cab. We'll know for next time.

Firstly, the quality and preparation of the steaks ordered were first class. In addition, when we both ordered the same starter, our excellent waiter suggested that one may be enough to share. This was indeed the case and much appreciated - how refreshing ! Cannot recommend enough the overall dining experience. Really great food and exceptional service.

My wife and I booked in for a anniversary meal and we felt we needed to leave a review highlighting what a wonderful lunch it was. From arrival we were treated like VIP's with complementary prinks, lunch was wonderful, fresh, well cooked and presented with the lunch Bao Bun a particular favorite of my wife's. Relaxed, great atmosphere we would highly recommend the two course lunch menu, with thanks to Felix and the rest of the crew, we'll certainly be back again.

Back to its best, although some of the well known staff have been rotated around the expanding group. Still believe the Chandlers Cross is the best one.

Appearances can be deceiving building and inside, beautiful. Food, however I had a scotch egg for my starter that was delicious. Then fillet with mash potato and mac n cheese. The fillet I asked for medium rare came to me blue I sent it back it came back to me hot I ate some but most of it was still blue. A server also brought an uneeded bowl of mashed potato. Mash was lumpy. Mac n cheese though pretty decent. I appreciate the goodwill discount on the bill but I didn't leave happy at all. I won't be coming back

Prime is an establishment that we drive 40min to for a quality steak dinner, and we were not disappointed. From the super friendly staff to the wine, it was the perfect indulgence. The Chateaubriand was cooked really well at medium rare and accompanied with the Brouilly, it was the perfect pairing. But it was the dessert th that stole the limelight from the steak. Their pecan pie is a reason to go just for dessert should you not want a main meal. So why the 4 stars for food? Along with the steak we greedily ordered the wagyu burger, which was nothing special. That however doesn't take away the quality of the restaurant and it is a strong recommendation to anyone that would love a good steak.

This was our second visit to Prime Steak & Grill. As our first visit was delightful, we decided to visit again for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was of a first class quality. We recognised our waitress Christina from our previous visit. She again was so very pleasant and gave us first class service, she surely must be a great asset to Prime and should be commended Nothing was too much trouble for her. We would certainly recommend this restaurant and we will return again. Also the attention to cleanliness was second to none, wiping the table thoroughly between courses, no horrible sticky table tops at these premises, which are so often found in may pubs and restaurants.

We went by looking at Google comments. (.. I know it was quite risky.) From the wine recommendations to the main course and side plates, and even the desserts (🖤), it was quite delicious. As a chef, I can say that the Cream Brulle was amazing! The soft taste under that golden color! should definitely be tried. / It was Manager's suggestion and he did not regret it. We ate rib eye, they were all well cooked, although we asked for well done, they were wonderfully soft and juicy. Peppercorn sauces were too bold for one serving. My favorite side dish is cauliflower, but boy are truffle oil fries delicious too. We will definitely come again. And I think it should also be tried on cold London days. I can't wait to book the garden fireplace. Thanks to the whole Chandler's Cross s team. 🤍🤍🤍

After waiting for about 20 minutes after two coffees .... I was brought only one coffee and that of bad quality ... Maybe better waiters ... Or maybe a customer who comes For a coffee is not important ??? In addition, he did not even bring the requested coffee

This place is expensive but so worth it. We go on special occasions and if we have extra cash.

Came to celebrate my wife's birthday at lunchtime. Service was great, food unbelievable, was quiet at the time we went as it was early but really enjoyed it

The Bao bun starter was lovely and the chips very good, but the whole reason for going is the steak, and this was unfortunately overcooked. There was also a rather bad smell in the outside seating area.

I went yesterday to Prime Steakhouse Chandlers cross. First the pros Lovely decor, polite waiters, the Hoi Sin Duck Bao Buns was delicious and the Pina Colada was great with plenty of alcohol. The triple cooked chips were tasty too. However I ordered the rib eye steak medium. The outer part of the steak was indeed medium but the inner part of the steak was most certainly not it was medium rare / rare, bloody and very pink. I was hungry so forced it down but quite frankly I found the texture awful and slimy. Two other people at my table sent their steaks back as it was not cooked as requested. I was too embarrassed to send mine back. It is unforgivable for a steak house chief not to know how long to cook a steak to achieve rare, medium rare and medium. The quality of the meat itself was good. Our meal come to £75 per person so it was certainly not cheap.

Wow, we visited for a birthday party today, the food was absolutely superb (particularly the tuna sushi and ribeye steaks (Obviously!) . Service excellent and relaxed, great atmosphere in a lovely setting.

We had a really great time there. All dishes were cooked and served with confidence that eventually delivered. I have no doubt we will return!

Stunningly presented steak house, warm welcome, cosy outdoors area for drinks and food. Service was efficient, helpful and genuinely kind, which is refreshing. Food was excellent, though the chef clearly didn't agree with my choice of getting it medium well done, as it was still rather red. None the less it was delicious. Steak, onion rings, fries and the duck were all brilliant. Will be back.

We recently held a corporate summer party here and honestly, the entire day was seamless. Attentive, friendly, polite staff, absolutely delicious food, adapted menus to suit some guests dietary requirements and fabulous drinks all day. Tracey and the team at Chandlers Cross were incredible! Not a single person had a moment where there was not a fork or a glass in their hand and everyone had the most fantastic time. We received the most incredible feedback from our clients and we owe so much of that to the team at Prime. They were outstanding, from start to finish in every way. We came for my mums birthday and they really went above and beyond to make our evening special - a particular thank you to Adina for all her hard work at our table! The food was amazing as it always is, and they were very on the ball with responding to our requests and keeping our drinks topped up. The only downside was that since it was so busy, the room became very noisy very quickly as there aren’t enough soft furnishings to absorb the sound. I would still recommend here for birthdays and events - the staff are great! Thank you again Adina!

Like a really Old Skool Bernie Inn; but without the Old Skool prices. It’s the usual formulaic stuff. Lovely staff, of course. Steak was only average. And not cheap (£40.90). Chef was confused when I asked for a grilled tomato with my steak. I kinda left confused too! It’s ok…but you can certainly do better.

Best place to eat steak! We've eaten at Gaucho's, Hawksmoor and Buenasado recently and I think prime steak and grill is the best of the three.

A really lovely venue and wonderful, very professional staff. My blue steak was perfectly cooked. The reason the food and service didn't get the full 5 stars from me is that the food for me was missing that X factor and the dessert options for coeliacs was poor, and our waiter called me madam about twenty times, when I'm not a madam 😅 a very nice space to spend time with loved ones, but I wouldn't rush to go back.

I was so bored with noisy restaurants and decided to take my second half somewhere else. That was a great choice. We ordered our desserts and they were amazing as well as cappuccino. We had a great time just for us as it is so nice here. Personel was very kind. The only is the music which is a little bit too loud .

Unexpected gem found after a random walk in a near Merlin's forest. Despite being fully booked our family was accommodated with a table, treated as dearest guests with muddy boots on and enjoyed great food and drinks some evening two years ago. Since then it is a favourite spot for special occasions, birthdays or just a treat of craving. Not sure how they do it, but all times out of all various steaks from the menu were made up to the exact liking of each friend or family member we brought in, so - Prime is an absolute synonym of good steak in our company. For those who do not eat meat vegan burgers were made perfect and drinks stood up to their names respectfully, as per bartender books. Was pleased with the service so converted friends from other steakhouses to this one already. The place has parking just big enough for booked guests, I would think, have two floors and two outdoor seating areas - one with a huge fireplace on the lower ground (though I haven't seen it burning, HSE?) and open space lounge with seats, cosy snugs and pillows, present corner to have "drink after" (or before - whatever). Nice visitors around enjoying the food and atmosphere add up to a good mood. Not too expensive nor cheap at all, but worth every penny and even more. Place was recommended to all friends and colleagues without a fear of failure.

Been here many times and its always decent, other half had the sunday roast and wasn't impressed with the beef. It was fatty,cold, and over cooked and the potatoes may have been frozen ones?? Best to stick to what there known for as I did, was a few more additions to the menu also.

The only reason I gave 4stars for atmosphere was because I was told it was an adult only restaurant and there was a table with kids right next to us. Don’t get me wrong I love children but just was expecting a quiet child free evening. Otherwise the food was great, the service was pretty good but could be quite hard to get the waiter’s attention as he just didn’t look our way and was in a bit of a daze. The rump steak was amazing, cooked to perfection and the port and mushroom sauce was divine. Chips were good but for triple cooked I’d expect them to be crisper. Creamed spinach and was lovely. For dessert I had pecan pie which was delicious

Highly recommend this steak restaurant in Chandlers Cross excellent in every way ! It must be good as we live in Kensington!!!!!! and enjoy driving to Prime to meet family and friends who live in the area ! Excellent too for Sunday Roasts with all the trimmings

Nice looking place with good service but the food was disappointing. The scotch egg was nice but seemed to be over done with the outside pretty hard. The steak was just served on a plate on its own with chips on the side. Not sure what I was expecting but this wasn’t it. The steak wasn’t great either. All in, lunch for two with starters plus one chicken main and one steak main was just over £100. Will be sticking to Miller and Carter for steak in the future.

The best steakhouse in the area. The steaks melt in your mouth, tender, full of flavour... The service is a credit of a spotless service. Great place to go and have an awesome time enjoying great goods.

We were running 30 mins late and even though we only had 90 mins left on the table, we were not rushed and they let us stay until they needed the table and then found space for us in the bar, even though it was very busy. They made my daughter feel very special for her birthday and overall the food and service was very good.

Was there for a wedding anniversary lunch most recently. The food was excellent, we had the beef roast and the wagyu beef burger. My daughter had the chicken roast. The food was excellent. Service was great as well, the staff is incredibly personable and they go out of their way to make you comfortable. Keep it up Prime Steak! We will be back

Chateaubriand was butterflied and overcooked we asked for medium , The sirloin was a poor cut and the wagyu burger was average , The kids meals were the best out of all at a good size and the fillet steak was good quality. The sides were flavourless tbh and would expect more from this place. Staff were friendly and helpful restaurant is beautiful , Food was not bad but left us feeling a bit meh. Would expect more from supposed Premium quality restaurant.

Really lovely local spot. Steak and sides were amazing, cooked really well. We got served a cheese scone appetiser with butter which was a bit dry. We ordered the scallop and prawn starters both were good but the prawns in particular were delicious. The scallops were cooked well but dish just felt a little flat. The mains were a rump fillet and it was perfect.

I would give 10 stars for the atmosphere and staff if I could. I have not enjoyed any of the outside central London restaurants as much for a very long time.

What an incredible place to visit, was introduced to me by a friend as he said it was the best steak around! Couldn't be further from the truth - surprisingly I was enticed for a starter and desert too which is unlike me! Very grateful for the kind and lovely staff 🙌
