Today my husband ,I and two other couples went to Miller&Carter,Rickmansworth for lunch. We had the two course set lunch. The food was well cooked, promptly served, and the atmosphere was great. We were looked after by Alex who made us feel welcome and served us well.

Great service, excellent food! Very accommodating considering we had six children! Ewa was great!

As per normal, Miller & Carter always deliver when we go there. The staff put us somewhere quiet (as it was my birthday) and the steaks were impeccable, (unlike Prime which is overpriced and with staff who 'know you are not money'). Our waiter (Becks) was fast, efficient and funny and made our visit special. He even brought out a small desert with a candle with 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate on the plate! Great evening and the best steaks in the area (and we've eaten everywhere....). Their cheaper priced Pinot Grigio was also fantastic. You will not be disappointed. Five stars from us!

Ordered a chicken breast burger and a beef burger arrived. This went back to the kitchen and a chicken wrap arrived which again was not ordered. 3rd attempt they got it right. No coleslaw came with the meals as advertised so had to ask for it. Not overly impressed.

A lovley steak House with a nice atmosphere and the strawberry daiquiri is the best I have ever tasted.

Food was good but not amazing. Service was slow for a lunch time. Atmosphere wasnt the best as we were tucked round a corner and you could hear tables moaning about slow service.

We were served by Lana who was incredibly friendly and engaging, it was for a birthday lunch in a nice cosy environment with excellent food. The chateaubriand was delicious and cooked to perfection would highly recommend as a sharing steak! The service was efficient and friendly we couldn’t ask for a better experience.

We had a fantastic meal to celebrate my cousins birthday at Miller & Carter on Saturday. Our host, Shannon was so friendly and helpful, the food was delicous and despite booking our table on the day, we had a private booth area, which really made the evening feel special - will definitely be coming back!

Great service and food, my faith in M&C has been restored after the absolute disaster from the kings Langley restaurant! Food was cooked to perfection and the waiter was fantastic and didn't miss anything, we will definitely return to this restaurant again.

We left without ordering as the manager lied to us on arrival and then offered us a table by the toilets. Not the experience we were expecting for a birthday celebration. We had specifically asked in the booking to be seated in a booth by the water wear and were told they were only for groups of four on Fridays - we’ve sat in them many times before on a Friday as a couple and never had any issues. We left and supported the white horse pub in Chorleywood - and had the best Thai food ever, perfect service and hospitality - where they moved bookings around to accommodate us at short notice. We felt special and had an amazing evening

Been here alot over the years. The food / atmosphere great every time but this week was really disappointing. The waiter literally made us feel really uncomfortable when paying. We paid on card and we always leave a cash tip on exiting. He made such a big deal that we were not adding anything to the card machine (he obv thought he wasn’t getting a tip). Commented several times that service charge is not added and we should add some extra money to our card payment. I ended up still leaving a tip because I always do but to be honest I think I’ll find another place to go after that super awkward encounter.

A smile of welcome would make a huge difference rather than, “do you have a reservation?”, making me wonder if I did something wrong by not reserving, especially because I had my 11 year old son with me. Also, none of the staff discussed about the app or points. The previous time I was there, the card machine was not working.

Another great experience at this Miller & Carter. We have been going to Miller & Carter for several years as a group of friends. This is our second visit to this branch. The food was spot on and the service was exceptional from Becks. At first he came over and started to take our order, he wasn’t writing it down but just repeating it so he could remember. We were a bit unsure if he would get the order right but he did. As the evening went on he came over a few times to check on us and was very tentative and humorous. It’s not often these days you get a waiter who has a chat and a few jokes with diners. The overall experience was great and we will be back soon to visit again. There is also plenty of free parking at this venue.

We came for lunch for my Mums birthday. Great attention to detail. Our waitress Ewa was attentive and friendly. There was a mistake with our food which was dealt with efficiently. Great customer service from Ewa. Highly recommend.

Mother’s Day lunch at Miller & Carter in Rickmansworth. Food was great as was all of the team there. Specifically Lana who looked after us v well during a busy service. All of our steaks were fab.

Myself and my friend arrived and was greeted by a gentleman who showed us our table. Our steak expert was called Shannon who gave us ample enough time to order what we wanted and gave us advice on which salad to choose. Our food came in timely manner piping hot and Shannon was very attentive throughout. Overall experience was great enjoyed some good food, great company with my friend and Shannon was a breath of fresh air ☺️

The food is good and the staff are very friendly but the place feels a bit tired and grubby. The toilets always have a really bad smell - not that any toilets smell nice - but these are particularly bad!

Lovely place, but food and service not great. Steaks were cooked correctly, which was a plus. But burger was overpriced and unseasoned; how is ‘seasonal greens’ a bowl of peas? Mac n cheese hardly edible, and garlic bread dry and tasteless. Was brought the wrong drinks, even the bill was wrong but by this time we’d had enough. I guess the warning signs were there right at the beginning when one of us wanted the rich red wine sauce. “sorry it wasn’t delivered today”…

I had a lovely lunch experience, and I must commend Ewa, her excellent customer service skills and friendly demeanour added a personal touch to our meal!

It's a nice enough place with a definite air of professionalism and class. It's a little weird to book a table for 8pm and only be seated at 20:40, but I suppose the place was busy. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but I think the restaurant does itself and its staff a disservice to have a table available AT the waiters station. Kinda makes you feel lesser than the rest of the patrons to be sat there, and the sheen of professionalism and class does tend to break down around that area (used to be a waiter myself). The food was decent, the sirloin I ordered would have been better as a thicker cut rather than the lengthy, thinner cut I received. It obviously made it difficult for the chef to get the steak to medium rare as it was overdone. Nonetheless the flavours hit all the marks. Definitely worth a date night or two.

Amazing service, particularly by Ewa who was extremely friendly and delightful. It was a very busy evening but the service still managed to be really quick and efficient.

Me any my sister always come here and have the best steaks. This weekend we had Shannon and her service was spectacular, as was our chateau.
