I enjoyed my meal here. The food was tasty and the service was efficient. I was served by Carolina who is a good example for other waitresses to follow.

We came as a big 8 people group, Our server, Dante, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, checking in at just the right times and offering thoughtful recommendations that made our meal even better. Pho is also yummy, especially the morning glory and curry noodle soup. Highly recommended.

The waiter was so kind and made us feel so welcome, my only issue is that the music was a tad too loud. other than that, AMAZING!!!!! i recommend :)

Be warned if you have allergies. I ordered chicken curry and the food arrived labelled as chicken on the deliveroo order (the container and bag) but had prawns. No full refund given of my meal and order despite thus being phos fault. This is a food standard agency ‘no - no’ and for those with allergies potentially life threatening. I spent over an hour trying to sort this out last night at Pho and deliveroo and have received nothing

We've eaten here twice today, both times our servers have been great! I didnt catch the guys name at lunch, but Vanessa served us in the evening. Service was super friendly and efficient, food was amazing both times to! Highly reccomend it here!

This is the first time I have tried Vietnamese food. Honestly, the food is very delicious. The restaurant is clean and the food is very delicious. The food arrived quickly, especially the service provided by the Tunisian waiter. He helped us choose the food and was very nice. Honestly, I give the restaurant 10/10 and I will definitely come back soon.

If you ask me why I come to Pho often, I might say because it has some of the best food in England, but if you asked me the real reason why I come to Pho in Cambridge, well it's because of the greatest waitress I have had the pleasure of interacting with during my time here in England. Her name is Sez and you would be lucky to have her. She can make you smile any day of the week, and is focused on giving you the greatest dine-in experience. I love her, and I'm sure you will too!

Have been many times before, love this food, always fresh and absolutely delicious. Here for Mother’s Day today and Lia, our server, was a superstar—friendly, funny, helpful, hardworking. One of our party described the food as “yummy”—I agree but as much as I’d like to say it was our toddler, it was my husband. Highly recommended, and do book because it’s busy.

Nice place, quick and easy. Only 2x minor comments, starter and main courses came together...odd. The starter of chicken wings had absolutely no flavour...just fried.

My mother and I went to have lunch at Pho, Cambridge last week for the first time. We were seated at a window table in a small room off to the side of the main restaurant. My mother sat against the wall and I sat opposite. A speaker was playing obscenely loud music from a speaker that was mounted directly above my mother’s head. The waitress, who was very friendly, got us some water and left us to study the menu. Neither my mother nor I could hear each other discussing the food options over the music blaring over us. When the waitress returned to take our orders, she also struggled to hear us. A sound, like an alarm, suddenly began wailing over the speaker. I looked up at it and asked, “what is that? Is that a fire alarm?” She sheepishly replied, “no, it’s just this song”, and rolled her eyes. It disgusted me that the restaurant would choose a song which included a sound effect associated with emergencies to play in a public place where customers could be disturbed by emergency noises or mistakenly believe them to be genuine. Please be mindful, there are diners with disabilities, hearing aids, autism, and young children. I cannot believe that whoever chose the playlist had had the sense to think that this song might be inappropriate for a relaxed eating place where one can engage in pleasant conversation without being upset, frightened. We ordered despite all this because we were both hungry. I got a tofu and vegetable rice bowl and my mother got a chicken soup. I was horrified at how unbelievably salty my dish was when it arrived. The rice was soggy and saturated in a sauce that had no other discernible flavour besides MSG. The tofu was similarly sopping wet with the same salty sauce. I couldn’t eat my meal it was so bad. My mother’s soup consisted of a broth, rice noodles, and some chewy, overcooked chicken. In other east Asian restaurants in Cambridge, including Vietnamese restaurants, the soups would at least come with some pak choi or spring onion, but this was just noodle water. Although her soup wasn’t oversalted, she had to spit out the chicken because it was so tough that it got stuck in her throat. Neither of us wanted to finish the food it was so applauding. We told the waitress who was very apologetic. She called her manager who asked us what the problem was. When we explained about the food, he was unfortunately very defensive and insisted that the food is checked for quality every four hours. I asked him if he had personally tasted it today and he only said repeated that “we taste it every four hours.” As a side note, we arrived at twelve in the afternoon. The restaurant opens at twelve, which means that they would have tasted that batch at eight in the morning. When he saw that we were still unhappy and hadn’t found his explanation satisfactory, he became passive aggressive and said, “well, no one else has complained.” I note again that the restaurant only opened at twelve p.m. which is exactly when we arrived to eat. It’s highly unlikely many people would have finished their meals and complained within the quarter–of–an–hour to twenty minutes we were in there. Regardless, this was an extremely poor attempt to save face and left me feeling ignored and belittled. He disappeared after that. We intended to pay the bill even though we were unhappy. We called over the waitress for the bill when she informed us that the bill had been taken care of as a courtesy and she once again apologised. We appreciate that the manager stepped up and did the right thing, but I left feeling very embarrassed and upset about the whole affair. I will NEVER return to this restaurant again.

Fab food and service. Prices are very decent considering it's central location. We left feeling very full.

We often come to Pho to have dinner and never have been disappointed! Today Vanessa was our server and she was amazing! She attended to all of our needs and was extremely quick with everything we asked for! She was friendly and cheerful while talking to not just us but all the customers in the restaurant! I overheard her explain the menu to customers that were not familiar with it and asked if we knew how to eat the food we ordered and she was there to help if we needed anything! Well done Vanessa keep up the god work xxx

It’s soooo loud in there and you can’t get a servers attention, but the food is amazing and the servers are really great, just run a bit off their feet I think.

The Pho beef brisket does not taste much. The Westfield Shepherds Bush tastes better. Good service and atmosphere. Toilet is clean but on the 3rd floor.

Pho and other dishes are quite authentic, although for me the broth tastes quite bland compared to the last couple of my visits, portion was good, wish they give some more beansprout instead of bunch of mint and coriander, spring rolls and fried squid were okay Service was bit slow as we had to wait few min on the door as no staff was approached to us, was hard to get any staffs attention during the meal too such as asking for bill Decent food and quality for the price

For me, this is the chain that really delivers. I had the curry noodle soup, with tofu and mushrooms, and crispy spring rolls. Really quick and tasty, and reasonably priced.

My best experience dining in Cambridge. The food was delicious, the service was perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I’m vegan, and the waiter was very helpful with vegan options and the vegan chicken curry pho dish I had was one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes I’ve ever had.

Was looking for some authentic PHO in the UK, stumbled across this spot. Great service from Ana, felt welcomed and she went the extra mile to make us comfortable. “Summer” rolls were amazing, we just call those spring rolls back in California . Pho dac biet is the one, get it!! Have fun and enjoy

This is one of my fav restaurant chain in the U.K. !! I am a vegetarian and the curry noodle soup here are super delicious. A must visit place if you are a curry noodle soup fan !! The only thing is if you are coming in a group you must call and book the table to avoid long waiting time :)

I had a fantastic experience at Pho in Cambridge! The food was incredible—refreshing, healthy, and full of flavor. The chicken broth ramen was especially delicious, with a rich, savory broth and perfectly cooked chicken. I also loved the spring rolls—they were light, crispy, and packed with flavor. The drinks were amazing too, with a great selection that perfectly complemented the meal. The location is great, right in the heart of Cambridge, but be sure to book a table ahead of time, as it can get quite busy. The service was spot on—friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. It’s a perfect spot for a tasty, satisfying meal, and I highly recommend it! Also, it’s worth noting that some of the chicken options are halal, which is great for those who need it.

Had a lovely lunch at Phō with my mate while on my university lunch break. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food, and although the restaurant filled really quickly, it was still not too loud, and the service was excellent!

The service was excellent, the young waiter helped us in sharing some appetisers. There is a good selection of stuff to add in your Pho. The Pho at the end is a good, simple a Pho.

Dining Club Meal Friday 10 January 2025 It was our turn ( my sister and myself) to play host to the father and daughter, fortunately we arrived at the venue just before our guests, and when we all arrived we were shown to our table, and when we were seated, we ordered our drinks, Saigon lagers and a bottle of Diet Coke for my sister and the daughter, a glass of Peacock Sauvignon Blanc for the father, and a glass of Coconut Water for myself, which we all enjoyed. For our Starters, we had three plates of tender baby squid in a light tempura batter with a salt, pepper and lime dip, and the father had Crispy Pork Spring Rolls, and two plates of Prawn Crackers. For our Mains, the father had beef brisket Vietnamese noodle soup, and the daughter, and myself had a Classic King Prawn Curry, a rich fragrant Vietnamese dish with vegetables and mushrooms, and my sister had a Crispy Beef in Betel Leaf with Radish, cucumber, and pickles, finished with peanuts and herbs. For Dessert the daughter did not have any, the father had vanilla ice-cream in a chocolate wafer shell, and my sister and myself had two scoops of vanilla ice-cream, on its own. Overall the meal was very good, the service was good as well, and if you like Vietnamese food, you will like this venue. Recommended.

The food is pretty good. The system of having to wait by the door for a server to come and seat you if very bad. There is not enough room to wait. It is very cramped and there was not enough room for the delivery guys to get past. Why do you make the restaurant so cramped near the door? Just take away one of the tables there to give your customers a decent amount of respect when they arrive. Also the system of adding a 15 percent tip on the bill which can only be reduced if you bring the waiter back by to the table is pretty cheeky. RESPONSE TO REPLY FROM PHO: I think the problem with the layout of the restaurant in Cambridge is that there is a very narrow doorway and only room for 4 people (pushed close together) to wait right in front of the door. If you try to advance into the restaurant to leave more space around the door then serving staff will tell you to go back and wait by the door. Four of us were waiting there in our family and a delivery driver started pushing the door into my 9 year old son in order to get in, but there was literally no room for my son to get out the way. Perhaps you could have a separate entrance for your delivery drivers? Alternatively take away a table by the door to leave some space for at least one family to wait, and then put a notice for the doorway to be kept clear. That way one set of customers could wait to get the attention of the servers and the others wait outside. With regards to the service charge, the problem with Pho is that the server brings the machine and leaves it with you to pay. You then try to choose a tip but realise you have no option to change the pre-added tip without calling back a waiter from whatever they are doing in order to change it. So you are faced with either paying the service charge Pho have imposed, or adding extra work for your server. Why not just allow me to make a change of the tip on the machine without calling back the waiter?
