Jish was amazing serving us throughout but the runner who came with the food had no curtosy to serve the food in a proper way and also the owner of the restaurant did not know how to talk to the guest.

Been ordering delivery from these guys for years and had been very happy with the quality of the food. Unfortunately of late (the past year) the portion size has decreased so much that I am no longer getting value for money. My last chicken Korai order had 6 small pieces of chicken and the time before we got overcharged by £5 AND a small portion. Put that together with different chefs cooking things in different ways, it's time for me to move on. Sorry, but they're obviously taking the mick out of the home delivery people since it's easier to get away with it.

Well where do I start 2.70 for a verry small can of coke I spent 86 pound all thr food tasted of nothing no flavour then to top it of I think thay must use same pans to cook all the different foods as my misses came out in a bad rash .never will I go there again and I will tell everyone not to go there to

Nice evening with the colleagues, the food was very good, staff friendly and the place look good. There is a car park at the back which is very convenient. I will definitely come back.

Having been away from the area for some years our first meal out was at Pipasha. We were not in anyway disappointed and it was much better than just following on FB. The food was of a very high standard as was the service The only aspect which was not high were the prices. We will return or order delivery &c.

It was delicious ! And the how towels at the end is a very nice compliment. They also have a free parking space which is very convenient.

Some of the best Indian food I’ve had. It is so good every time I’ve gone. The flavors are amazing and the staff is super nice! Had the special shish-kebab chicken that the waiter suggested and it was outstanding.

Food was great. Spicy lamb vindaloo was on point and nan bread was light and fluffy! Ordered food to go after dining in! Overall, great service!

Tasty, well presented food with good service. Some vegan dishes, would be great to have more, especially starters. Missed having onion bhajis for example.

One of the best restaurants in Cambridge. Our family have been coming to Pipasha for 20+ years, and have had consistently great food. Everyone who works there are friendly and accommodating & go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Can't recommend them enough.

It was our first time there and we loved it. (It won't be our last for sure) The food was excellent and the service was perfect.

The restaurant is pleasant and clean. The food is very tasty, with vegan and gluten-free options. The food served is beautifully presented. The portions are adequate. The choice of drinks was satisfactory for me. The service was professional, everyone was very nice. I would say almost family friendly. It was not our first time and we will go next time. Thank you!

Have used this restaurant for years. It has changed the way things are laid out now. Paper menus, paper napkins and cutlery stored in a box in the table. Lost a bit of the nice dining experience. I would say the food prices are in the upper end of the pricing scale for Indian food. The biggest change is adding a 10% service charge on your bill without warning. I’m always happy to tip good service but don’t like the mandatory service charge added and then having to ask it to be removed. They added over £15 to our bill which was unacceptable.

I give a bad rating because it seems impossible to dine in Indian restaurants with a dog! I came to Great Britain because I found it easy to travel with your dog in this country, dogs were accepted everywhere, but it makes you believe that this is not the case in Indian restaurants. I did 3 this evening and each time the same response. Too bad, because this was not the case in English pubs and restaurants.

We were recommended Pipasha by two people in one week and it did not disappoint. Goan fish was my favourite dish but all delicious and wonderful service too. So glad it’s within walking distance as we’ll definitely be back!

I can't praise Pipasha enough for their food and their service. We had the Lamb Chops, Kashmir Chat, Green Haryali and Lamb Hussaainee. All were exceptionally flavoured and balanced. The ingredients were exceptional. You could tell the quality of the lamb with how wonderfully tender and flavoursome it was. The service was also incredibly attentive and personable. Would highly recommend!

Love coming here the food and service always great. It is a shame we were here last week when the person who left the one star review was in and we thought they really over reacted and the team were trying to help. We have always found them really eager to give a good experience and it is a shame when people feel the need to hurt businesses because they were having a bad day! Needless to say we will continue to enjoy the food and ambience

We were meeting our daughter whom we hadn't seen for 6 months, and twice before we have used Pipasha for the venue to do this. It is quiet enough to have a good conversation if we arrive early enough, so we were the first to arrive. The food was excellent, as always, and the service faultless. We will definitely be back!

WOW Pipasha! Absolutely insulting service! To paint the picture, I have been going there for well over a decade for meals in and takeaways. My partner and I had been for a brunch today and called in tonight just wanting a light meal. We ordered 4 poppadum's with the tray, however when it came to the next part, we wanted two things off the starter menu and I was about to order a large Kingfisher too. A manager? was then called and we were informed we HAD TO order something from the main menu as well!!! If it was a busy Saturday night, I could possibly relate, but this was a Sunday evening and hardly any customers in. No where on the menu does it state there is a minimum order requirement. I didn’t recognise anyone tonight and really think your staff require some etiquette training! We left and after this, I will not be returning. Eating out and takeaways are supposed to be a nice experience, not being made to feel like you are a burden ordering not enough from the menu. An absolute shame and totally disappointed how your restaurant has become like this.

Excellent service and delicious food!

Another great meal at Pipasha. My husband has been coming to Pipasha since it opened in 1999 and it never disappoints. We were warmly greeted on Monday evening, where the restaurant was surprisingly busy for an early evening dinner. We were a table for 5 people, and the service was prompt and friendly. I had the Chicken Hasina, which was freshly cooked and tasted delicious. We look forward to returning soon.

This place can do no wrong. Always such a warm welcome with friendly, caring and attentive staff. The food is consistently top notch, fresh and rich in flavour. But perhaps most importantly, you’re made to feel genuinely valued as a customer here - which is something you definitely can’t take for granted in the restaurant business. Put it this way - if a law came in demanding every restaurant but one in Cambridge had to close, my vote for the one to keep would go to Pipasha. It’s honestly that good.

I've been a Pipasha customer for approaching 25 years, but due to outside pressures, hadn't been for a while, so I remedied that. Well nothing much has changed, still astonishing culinary delights at a great price point. The one thing that has actually changed are the restaurant staff, but that's not a bad thing at all. Friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and other superlatives. To sum things up, "The Best of the Best got Better". Many thanks to you both and your amazing staff.

Enjoyed excellent meal with friend. Nice cold beer with main and side dishes being tasty. Staff were great and helpful with just one minor niggle. A couple arrive after us - we had ordered the poppadoms then they ordered theirs. We had decided on our main order and a waiter headed our way only to go to the other couple and take their order first. Only a small error but still annoying. The rest was superb and enjoyed our visit and would definitely go again.

We having been using Pipasha since they opened many, many years ago original just takeaways as our daughter was too young to eat in a restaurant and then once she was old enough for dining in and last nights experience was full of the reasons we keep coming back, excellent food, cooked perfectly and to any special adjustments we asked for, a wonderful selection to choose from and even as with the starter one that is not on the menu, served by very polite, caring staff who make you feel very special, in wonderful surroundings for a price worthy of the food, they have always been our number 1 choice and always will be, try it you won't regret it.

The food is delicious! So many options for meat and non-meat eaters. The waiter’s recommendations were spot on for us. We loved everything.

I must say I liked the food here. But the problem was, I reserved for two people and paid the reservation fee of £20, which is supposed to be deducted from the final bill. At the final bill time, I forgot to ask for this deduction and they also forgot this. And since then I wrote to them for a refund, but have not replied to my email.

The menu was very clear and explanatory for those with food intolerance issues. It made it so easy to order without feeling embarrassed and asking advice. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I had the lamb bhuna. It was the best Indian dish I have ever had and we eat Indian food weekly.

Awful customer service. Pathetic portion sizes. Cold and oily food. Very disappointed, I spent £70 for basically half a portion of curry! Rang them up to get the reply ‘well that’s just how it is’.

if i could give 0 stars i would. Spent £70 on a takeaway only for it to be delivered half full. The tupperware was half empty, one poppadom for £1?! half a portion of rice. Rang up to ask why the portion sizes are so small and they said they make their portion sizes for one person? Sorry how do you know how much i can eat? Im fuming.

Good food and good service. Completely inaccessible though. There is a step to get in through quite a narrow doorway. The restaurant itself is also very narrow and the toilet while it is labelled as disabled would never fit a wheelchair.

Pipasha is out of town on the main Newmarket road leading to the city. Plenty of buses pass by. Not a large place but not too small. Clean and tidy good toilets. Doesnt look that good from outside clearly been at that location many years. The staff all seemed really nice and happy to engage in chat. The main thing the food...... Off the scale ! So many thing to choose . Interesting menu. We had main and starters and beautiful. We loved Pipasha and if lived in the area be there every night ! Easy to see why stayed open many years. 5 stars.

This is favourite curry house. Every time I'm in Cambridge I come here with my kids. Amazing food, lovely staff, and the only curry restaurant we have dessert in - the kalfi is out of this world!

Me and my partner visited this restaurant for the first time, upon entrance we were greeted with a starter of popadoms immediately after being seated. We was also well catered for and the service including the staff was very on point. Would definitely recommend for anyone who haven’t experienced a fine dining Indian cuisine. 10/10

This is a wonderful restaurant. Welcoming with a relaxed, authentic feel. Service is first class- polite and efficient and the menu is not too extensive but great quality food. I would definitely recommend this place. Our 11 year old loved it too.

This is my number 1 curry place in Cambridge .Visited a few times in the past and have always had great food.It has a nice ambience with lower lighting like a traditional curry house , but with modern decor.The staff are nice and accommodating.

First time visit, but would definitely go again. Food was great and the staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive in an unobtrusive way. The restaurant was full so was a little bit stuffy. Being a cold evening no windows were open, understandably, they have AC but it wasn't on which they may wish to consider when full, but that is the only negative. Will certainly be recommending to friends and family.

I attended Pipisha with a friend on January 24th and we were both thoroughly impressed. Our food was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient without being too attentive. The portion sizes were generous and the quality of our main course and all sides was very good indeed. A really enjoyable evening and we will not hesitate to return to Pipasha soon ! Neil M

Excellent Food, friendly service and wonderful full people. I’ve never had a bad dish from the Pipasha and I’ve had most of the menu at one time or another. The Nomadic Lamb Shank is superb, and the Chilli Ponir is an often overlooked gem

Really tasty food. The curry dishes have a lovely thick sauce, which is not watery or too oily, and plenty of meat. The vegetable dishes are flavoursome and generously portioned. My favourite take away restaurant in Cambridge.
