Angel’s Café is the kind of place where you can sip your coffee in peace, blissfully unaware of whatever horrors are being discovered under your car’s hood down the street at Cooper’s Garage. It’s the perfect pit stop for both you and your vehicle, though only one of you will be enjoying pancakes while the other gets poked and prodded by a mechanic. The food? Comfort on a plate. Whether you're indulging in a hearty breakfast or just grabbing a quick sandwich, the flavors are as reliable as the café’s namesake suggests. And the service? Let’s just say the staff could make even the worst car troubles feel like no big deal—almost as if they’re saying, “Your transmission is shot? How about some pie to cheer you up?”Angel’s is more than just a waiting room with snacks, though. It's a cozy little haven where the stress of whatever your car bill will look like is momentarily replaced by the comfort of warm coffee and genuinely friendly faces. So, next time your car decides to take a day off at Cooper’s, take a moment to relax at Angel’s. After all, you deserve good food and good vibes before facing whatever “urgent repairs” your mechanic has to offer.

I visited this restaurant for the first time five years ago, the food was enjoyable. But this time I was disappointed. I would say the food was average, one starter was actually really bad. The ribeye steak was the most plain and tasteless ribeye steak I have ever tried in my life, it’s nothing to do with adding salt to increase the flavour, the steak itself had no beef flavour, no creamy flavour that it’s supposed to have. The pork meat balls were really dry, obviously over cooked and strange tasting, to the point where they were inedible, never tasted anything like it. The white wine clams were enjoyable. On the top of that, we both have stomach issues the next day. Service was great. Will never go back.

A beautiful location. With very good service. But for me the menu was extremely limited. I visited because of a dinner invite and I'm vegetarian. If I had googled the menu I might have declined the invite. What I had, I enjoyed, but I had a starter for my main course. It's very much geared towards the meat eating foodie crowd.

Faith in humanity restored! Vegetarian/vegan or not, the food is genuinely outstanding! My boyfriend and I both had the gnocchi which was recommended to us, honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The staff are so caring and friendly and make you feel so welcome and comfortable. The beautiful loft setting filled with plants and pretty lights makes for a memorable evening. This is quickly becoming our favourite place to eat!
