My wife and I enjoyed lunch and dinner here before staying overnight and if one word is needed to sum up this place it would be 'charming'. The location is charming, the building is charming and all the staff are charming. Linda is a lovely hostess and instantly makes you feel at home. The facilities are spotless and the prices are very reasonable. Particular mention goes to the chef. Not only is the food absolutely delicious and exquisitely presented but it is always piping hot. Already planning a return trip and stay.

Lovely rooms welcoming staff and superb food. Stayed 2nights for family wedding in area. Ate in restaurant on one evening and breakfast both mornings. All meals homecooked and plentiful. Can highly recommend. Basic breakfast was enough for me but hubby upgraded for additional £5.95 to a huge plateful which he agreed was worth the supplement.

We were attending a wedding in Sudbury and my husband, daughter and son in law stayed here for just one night but honestly, we wished we could have stayed longer. The Case is just a lovely find and a cracking combination of restaurant, bar, coffee shop, restaurant and rooms. You really could not ask for more. Our rooms were spotless and well equipped, there was even an umbrella in the wardrobe! The little touches like fresh milk delivered in a flask rather than those rip top packs that splash everywhere and sachets of freshly ground coffee, were perfect. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully cooked and cleanly presented, there was simply nothing to complain about. Our hostess Linda was a scream! We just felt so much at home and it was more like we were old friends rather than guests passing through. I just wish we lived closer so that we could sample the restaurant in the evening.

We have stayed here twice in the past month - our granddaughter needed to be close to Sudbury for exams which would have meant a very early start from her home. After browsing the internet, we chose to book at the Case. If only everywhere we stayed was as good as this. The rooms are cosy and very well equipped. Comfortable beds and pillows, top quality bed linen and towels, nice toiletries, all spotlessly clean, and with all the extras which add up to a very satisfactory stay - a heated towel rail in the bathroom, an electric fan for hot summer nights, a blanket for chilly nights, umbrellas, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, TV, tea and coffee tray with additional snacks, fresh milk, even a charger for your phone. There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space. To wake up to birdsong outside your window is a real treat. But the main attraction of The Case has to be the owners, Barry and Linda. Barry produces food to die for - last night's arancini with beetroot chutney and little dots of fresh beetroot and salad was a dream, this morning's breakfast included freshly squeezed orange juice, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with toast made from home made bread, and a wonderful selection of local Tiptree jams and marmalades. And the coffee - oh yes, the coffee! Superb. Linda is front of house and everything else. What a star. As a team, they are the most welcoming and warm couple you could imagine, and the atmosphere is that of staying with old friends and being very well cared for. They opened the dining room half an hour early for breakfast to allow plenty of time for us to get our granddaughter to her exam without hurrying. Nothing is too much trouble for them. There is a small deli with some lovely items for sale, i brought back duck pate, home made there. Our grand daughter's exams are over but we will be visiting The Case again, many times in fact. It's worth a long journey if you want to experience real hospitality. Thank you, Barry and Linda for everything you did to make our stays so enjoyable.

I cannot understand the previous review, however, each to there own I suppose, just to confirm though the bread is actually home made as I buy all my bread from there weekly, it’s the only bread my husband can eat as it has no additives in it, it never upsets his tummy, I have even watched the owner Barry make it! I take everybody I know to eat in here & have had lots of functions in the Case including my 50th, Linda caters wonderfully to all your needs during your meal & the food is superb, flavoursome & all made from fresh, local ingredients, the atmosphere is homely & warming, I love it! Try the home made chocolate brownie.... it’s to die for! & the carrot cake. Also being on a diet for most of my life!!!, I try when I can to eat salad bowls, the last one I had from the Case was fish, it was so filling & full of fishy favourites. One of the Case meals I do relish is the fish smorgasbords, you must try it if your a fish fanatic like me. I have stayed in the rooms too, if your looking for lovely accommodation with a great service then stay here, the basket full of snacks in the rooms are a truly scrumptious touch & combined with the restaurants own home made biscuits I was having a field day!, the rooms are so warm & clean, I will be using them again. Well done Barry & Linda! :)

Went in on a Friday lunchtime. I had passed the place many times and was coaxed in by my wife who said she had seen good reports about the place. We went in and whilst it took some time for us to be seated, it gave me an opportunity to check the menu to see what was available. I decided on the Vegetarian Ploughman’s. When I saw on the menu that the restaurant made its own bread I was salivating at the prospect of my lunch but it was a massive disappointment. I ended up with some slices of cheese, a bread roll that had been cut into quarters (not home made) some gherkins, some dips, a breadstick and a boring salad. I was really disappointed. It would take a huge leap for me to return. Not for me - sorry.

We were looking for a good value place to stay the evening and found not only a great room but the best meals we have had the pleasure to eat while in the UK. We were kindly upgraded to the premier ensuite room with meadow views and it's own balcony. The room was well presented, clean, comfortable with all you need for a great overnight stay. Breakfast was cooked to order and as expected after our meals the evening before was extremely tasty and enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and the rooms to everyone.

We have recently returned from an overnight stay at the Case Restaurant. It was a last minute booking based on other people's good reviews. We received a very warm welcome as we checked in to the ' Mulberry Room' the accommodation was compact, yet airy & comfortable with good storage space, everything that you might need, even a freshly delivered milk for coffee. The bath had a powerful shower overhead, nice toiletries, large towels, plentiful hot water. Our dinner was delicious, very fresh ingredients, each course prepared to order, cooked perfectly & beautifully presented. We chose the Ham hock terrine & Arancini to start, followed by grilled tuna with gnocchi & a sirloin steak. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, but we're too full to be tempted by a third course. Our coffee was very good, made with a proper coffee machine, not these dreadful little pods that seem increasing popular these days. After a restful night's sleep, our breakfast was very tasty, the freshly squeezed orange juice was exceptionally good. We really enjoyed our short yet relaxing stay at the Case Restaurant with rooms, the owners are genuinely welcoming lovely people, who clearly know exactly how to run a restaurant that serves excellent food with comfortable accommodation & a good atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend the Case Restaurant with rooms, having found it, I hope that we will book another stay before too long. Our thanks to all concerned.

We were making our way back to the Midlands on a planned route from the coast and stayed at The Case in late June for 3 nights. We were made very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very, "at home." Our room was very comfortable and the restaurant very very good. We were able to sit outside our room if we wanted a drink or a cup of tea. It really had a home from home atmosphere to it. Linda and Barry were excellent hosts and always made us feel very welcome. The Case is ideally situated for visiting Lavenham, Bury St. Edmunds and Flatford Mill.. There is also a National Trust Stately Home nearby. The local villages are absolutely beautiful, just out of the chocolate box of the 1950's . The area is very very pretty. Thanks very much Linda and Barry for making us so welcome and comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Bit of a longer wait for our food but whdn it arrived we were told the chef had made the burgers from fresh! Generous portion side and cleanly cooked. Would be nice to see a couple of spicey dishes on the menu, like a chilli or curry and maybe instead of plain ice cream , perhaps some sundeas. Case Restaurant with Rooms, we booked our stay at very short notice as we’d decided to have a last minute break. This turned out to be a really good move, as the room was very quiet and peaceful. The room was very clean and the only regret that I have is that I wished we eaten in the attached restaurant as the breakfast was excellent. I’d also like to thank the manager who posted my mobile charger and lead to me home address free of charge, after leaving it in the room greatly appreciated.

We have stayed at “the Case restaurant with rooms” on three different family occasions. The welcome we had from Linda was as warm and as friendly as ever. We had a lovely large room with doors opening onto a little patio with views over the open fields. We had booked for 2nights but with the bad snowy weather we had to turn around and head back to the warm and cosy Case. We had dinner on our first night it was really tasty and very well presented and the lovely bubbly friendly Ruby our waitress was really nice too. The breakfasts were lovely from a traditional english with orange juice and porridge to start with, with toast and tea really nice. The next morning I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and toast also delicious. Then the snow started to fall. We finished our breakfast settled our bill and returned to our room to finish packing and we started on our journey home..... about 3 miles towards Sudbury the road was blocked by cars that could not get up a hill. We gingerly turned around after deciding to go back to The Case to stay safely there for another night if Linda had room for us. Fortunately our room was still available so there we stayed till the snow started to clear and we set of home-wars towards North Wales the next day.

We stayed three nights at The Case Restaurant with Rooms whilst in town for a friend's wedding. On arrival, we were met by Linda, who along with her husband Barry, own and run the business. She showed us to own room, gave us the hours for breakfast and dinner and took our reservation for that evening's dinner. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bath had a large jet bath, and at the back of the room was a double door out to a beautiful garden looking out on the fields surrounding the B&B.; Fantastic! The food at The Case was great, from the burgers to the freshly made breakfast, it was high quality and obviously made by a caring hand. Linda is one of the warmest people you'll ever meet, wanting only to make sure you're comfortable and cared for during your stay. She is the heart and soul of the Case and she does it with grace and a warm smile. This may not have been the fanciest hotel we've stayed at, but it was one of the best experiences we've ever had as travellers. From the moment you arrive til the moment you leave, it feels like home, and that is down to Linda and Barry. Hope we are invited to another wedding in the area very soon!

I cannot fault The Case - be ready for a very personal and laid back reception and the service isn't silver service but it's very good and they make you feel very welcome and special - on top of this the food is great! My daughter and i had the smoke fish trio for starter - it was wonderfully fresh and tasty - mum had a ham hock terine which we insisted on trying ,,- it was obviously home made ,- no ping food here! Superb. I'm not a pudding person but went for the briouch and butter pudding - really glad i did - my daughter had the cold dessert choice - we all tried a bit of each others - all of us loved everything. We all chose roast beef for a main - nice to have home made Yorkshire's! The beef was cooked to perfection as far as I'm concerned but my mum likes it well done - so they cooked it more for her and she loved it too. We have little choice in Sudbury - other than the chain restaurants - The Case is definitely worth the short drive out of town. Give it a go - we will definitely go back!

This is a family owned restaurant that has been in the same hands for the last 32 years. We went on a Saturday night and got a good welcome from Linda who waited on us. Our starter was garlic bread with melted cheese and sun dried tomatoes. That was delicious. Our main was wild sea bass on spinach, which was was nicely done. The service was friendly without being obtrusive, neither too quick nor too slow. All in all a pleasant dining experience and a good night out. The main dining area is on three levels with a small step of a couple of inches down to the next level. You might have to be careful if you're bringing someone on a Zimmer frame. The tables are well spaced apart so there's plenty of room and enough privacy to hear each other talk. The only things to criticise were the chairs which were a bit plasticky and slightly low. One oddity on the menu was that there were no poultry dishes. We found that unusual but it didn't affect our enjoyment of the evening. All in all this is a charming restaurant and we recommend it. We shall be going again.

From the very first 'hello' I knew that I was going to enjoy my stay. The room was very tasteful and modern with everything just right. Comfortable bed, soft bedding, wall mounted TV that can be seen from the bath (bliss), enough surfaces to spread things out, a desk and chair, large bathroom with a bath / shower over. I am a bath fan and it's rare to find in a room at this price. It was also the fastest filling bath I have ever come across. Soft towels too. The evening meal was superb - I had their beefburger & fries. Probably the best pub/restaurant burger I have ever had. The fries were thin, tasty and crispy. Breakfast was again fantastic. Cooked to order (as with everything here) and just right. Linda was beyond helpful with any request and nothing was too much trouble. Honestly, I found the menu really very ordinary & predictably 'safe'. Lasagne as the special was not entirely inspiring. That said I ordered the calamari which was huge & very tender. Also, rather than the typical rings of deep fried frozen squid this was fresh squid, beautifully battered in a light tempura & plenty of it too. Fresh chillies & garlic.....a little overpowering but nevertheless, FRESH! My simple choice of ham, eggs & chips for the main course was fab! The ham was home cooked, honeyed, tender & delicious & once again, plenty of it. Completely genuine unfussy service added to my brief but thoroughly enjoyable experience. The chef seems to be attempting to add a little unique twist to each dish, large potato quarters as chips, huge chunks of fresh garlic with the squid......still, really tasty freshly made dishes.

We went to The Case restaurant whilst staying at Stoke By Nayland Hotel - 10 mins away - and used Tastecard (so 2:1 on the food). The good bits were the food was excellent, fresh and well cooked. Probably too much of the portions to be fair, but that's hardly a negative. They took the Tastecard so the 3 course meal for 2, with a bottle of New Zeland wine, came to £60 (as opposed to £90.) Service was friendly. I would go back again but only on a tastecard\ special offer basis as the value for money would then be right. The negatives are that it is charging top prices (£26 for a Cabinet Savignon from New Zealand; £8 goats cheese starter; £16 beef strip stir fry; £6 desserts etc) for an environment\ ambience that just does not merit that. For those prices I am expecting a gastro pub style decor and excellent service and style. Unfortunately this just does not have that ambience and so it is a challenge to review: very good food, friendly staff and atmosphere - but not worth the prices charged as an overall experience. So maybe more set meals\ fixed price menus needed and certainly a look at the wine list and charges.

Nevertheless I booked a table at The Case restaurant for last Saturday night on OpenTable only to receive a phone call from the restaurant on Saturday morning saying that there was a mistake, there were no tables available. The Case Restaurant is simply fantastic. From the moment we arrived and welcomed by a very friendly Linda we experienced the most relaxing evening. Our room and bathroom were spotless with a very comfy bed, lashings of very hot water, lovely bath towels and toiletries and a very effective and fast heating system. We booked an early meal as we wanted to watch England play Australia in the rugby world cup and were not disappointed. From the minute we walked into the restaurant nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly and well trained staff. The food was just perfect and prices very reasonable all served up beautifully and again everythign was spotless, we asked if we could take out dessert back to our room so that we did not have to hurry it and watch the rugby and once again this was no trouble and was brought with fresh linen napkins all laid out beautifully on a tray, what service. We both sleptvery well and enjoyed an excellent breakfast and late check out. This is an excellent restaurant and B&B and was fantastuc value and we would encourage everyone to go, we will definately be visiting again.

Our friends have stayed many times before and can't speak highly of the Case. We loved it too. The food and accommodation are great for the price. The owners and staff are wonderful - nothing is too much trouble. We had a fantastic time and will definitely visit again.

We chose to meet friends for lunch in this restaurant based on good reviews. There were no other tables occupied although some people were eating outside. The choice of food was good as was the quality and presentation with the exception of the duck dish which was too salty for the taste of one of our friends. In fairness the waitress had warned us that it would be salty but it was much saltier than anticipated. There was a good choice of reasonably priced wine. We would not hesitate to revisit based on our experience.

We stayed here for one night as part of a birthday treat weekend. We stayed in a premier room with en suite. Which was lovely and spacious. There were some stains on the bed linen, although not the sheets, and a loose tile on the bathroom floor. Not major issues, but just probably a need for some renovation and replacement. Our evening meal was lovely, I had the Lamb which cut like butter, it was so tender. My Girlfriend had the Salmon in puff pastry, which was also lovely. Some lovely sounding desserts, I had a sorbet and a cheese board. All very tasty. In all a nice diverse menu, and some interesting dishes, that were not "the usual". We were very well looked after throughout. I would definitely return.

We visited this restaurant with keen interest due to its good reviews. Linda greeted us with a smile and pre ordered and chilled bottle of bubbly. The food was tremendous, very well presented and tasty. The restaurant was quiet but none the less atmospheric and gave us a very private dining feel. This is a family run establishment with very talented chefs and Linda is a delight and very engaging and interested in knowing you've had a good experience. They deserve to succeed and, we look forward to revisiting as often as we can. Thank you, from Jase and Pearl

The meal was unhurried and relaxed. Came here before Xmas - 14 in our party 2 will allergies. Contacted the restaurant beforehand to highlight what the allergies were and could they cater for these. We were told that menu could be changed to ensure that allergies were catered for, but that did not happen. Maitre d needs to get a new job as she was rude and not very helpful. Food was ok but as we were expected to pay before we had our meal this spoilt the evening. Nice venue. Other staff were helpful but Maitre d spoilt our evening.

Well, what a wonderful start to 2015 - hubby and I stayed with friends last night, New Year's Eve, and it was fabulous! Our room was gorgeous, incredibly clean, well equipped with a lovely bathroom with lots of high quality toiletries and very fresh smelling towels. The bed was comfy and the soft furnishings are simply stunning. Lots of coffee and tea making facilities, with a handy cafetiere and fresh milk provided. Free wife, lots of TV channels and an honesty box packed full of goodies and bottled water. We had a delicious three course meal that was perfect followed by coffee and mince pies. The food is stunning and cooked to such a high standard. The atmosphere was sooooo relaxing and the service was brilliant. Linda and her family really do have this place down to a T. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, furnished and lit. It is roomy yet cozy and was such a lovely evening. It was like being a VIP guest in somebody's home. They were two members of staff down, yet you wouldn't have known this at all as the service was just perfect.Breakfast was devine and there was a wide choice to be had with freshly squeezed orange juice and plentiful tea and coffee. Linda is a wonderful host with so many years of experience it shows in her approach to her guests. She was so welcoming and warm we will definately be booking to back! I cannot recommend The Case Restaurant more highly.

Desserts again home made and were excellent, finished off with coffee and mini mine pies! All in all a great meal, friendly efficient service and reasonably priced for Xmas lunch.Well recommended

This is our fourth visit for dinner to the Case and we have always had an excellent meal and first class service by the staff/owner. The Proprietors offer an excellent choice of menu, ample portions and with a variety of freshly baked breads, including one with a hint of chilli to accompany your meal. Quality locally sourced ingredients, well cooked and beautifully presented. The wine list has a good choice of wines across the board. This time we would recommend the belly pork, together with the ‘Baileys’ cheesecake and selection of homemade ice creams, chilli with chocolate should be tried. We will be returning soon and would recommend the restaurant; it represents good value for money with the addition of nice log fire burning was very cosy! All of this made this a memorable occasion for us.

We bought an offer on Groupon for afternoon tea for 4 which made it very good value.A really lovely afternoon tea, nice friendly staff. The sandwiches were excellent some of the nicest I have had with an afternoon tea. The bread/rolls were lovely and clearly home baked and freshly baked. The same can be said about the scones they were delicious and it was nice to have a mix of both plain and fruit scones. The cakes were also lovely, very tasty and a nice variety. The only downside was the number of cakes - 4 different cakes shared between two people. Two cakes each were not enough and we didn't all get to try each cake. This was a shame because other than this it was a really great afternoon tea and very good quality. I would definitely recommend going here for afternoon tea and their dinner menu also looked delicious!

We recently visited as a party of five with a very excited 11 year old. We arrived and our 1st impression was poor as they had lost our reservation, no problem as it was found and we took to the sofas with our drinks to look at the menu. Such a shame at the start of service the restraint was not ready, staff and owner scuttled around with chairs, flowers ect. Not very relaxing at allThe menu was enticing and we made our orders before being escorted to our table by a very friendly waitress.Adults had starters and a garlic bread that my son sampled a little of each, all very nice.We had ordered the starter portion of beef Wellington for my son at £10.50 and adults made their choices from the menu and specials. All main courses were lovely, well presented and very tasty. The beef Wellington however was a disgrace, the tiniest piece of beef (about a 5p piece size) that was completely over cooked. To be fair the chef had no chance with the minuscule size of the fillet. We complained to the waitress but decided not to ask for a replacement as my son was very hungry at this point. The waitress apologised and we would have left it at that to be honest. Point made. The owner came over to apologise and we thought that reasonable. She then tried to justify the size and the price, not once but twice. She became very defensive stating the obvious that it was just a starter and the price reflected the cut of beef. Her attitude totally tuned the evening and it was a shame as her staff were very good, a very intuitive waitress even added a small scoop if ice cream we had been discussing and not ordered to one serving.No1 restaurant in Sudbury it isn't, eat at the Secret Garden, The Angel, The Swan in Melford, the Black Lion or the Bulmer Fox for comparable prices and menus but significantly better service and settings.

We dined here for my wife's birthday after reading the reviews on trip advisor, we had a beautiful meal, I cannot fault it. Beef Wellington and Scotch Egg to start, followed by Pork Belly and Shoulder of Lamb to follow. We both had the Limoncello Trifle to follow. The home made bread was also excellent. A truly lovely meal, cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant more, excellent service with a smile.

I'm sorry to say that I had a very poor meal at this restaurant. We ate here as part of a groupon deal, with two courses included (starter and main) We were able to choose anything on the menu up to a certain value, with the option to pay extra for the more expensive dishes. I chose to pay extra for the Beef Wellington starter, (we laughed when we saw it) which I would have sent back without hesitation had I not been with companions who had kindly booked the whole thing for us. My main course was Dover Sole which was swimming in butter, with twice cooked chips which certainly were twice cooked as they were very hard and dry. The salad consisted largely of red cabbage which was bitter. This being my experience I decided not to bother with dessert ,however my husband ordered the banana and walnut tart and offered to share it with me. Oh dear, hard pastry, a few slices of banana coated with a brown tasteless custard topping, (skin included) what a disappointment. The ice cream served with it was quite nice. The restaurant itself, the staff, all lovely, maybe I was just unlucky.

Brought a voucher off Groupn for afternoon tea for 4 persons.A lot of vouchers you buy at reduced cost give you a reduced meal or service or both, not in this case. The sandwiches were exceptional, great cakes and the scones with local Tiptree jams and clotted cream were to die for. You have a choice of about 6 different flavoured teas or coffee. The menu as we walked in had monkfish and prawn red Thai curry advertised, have to come back later, that sounds just delicious.

We stayed for one night on a Groupon deal. We received a good welcome and were able to have a cup of tea until our room was ready. The room was cosy with a stash of snacks and an honesty box. The shower was amazing, although I would like more towels. We ate in the restaurant which had a good choice of fish. We felt slightly herded from the bar to the restaurant and the tables were all close together which did not lead to much private conversation.Breakfast was in the lovely conservatory. I would have liked more vegetarian options for breakfast such as veggie sausages but the food was cooked well. We were offered coffee one cup at a time rather than a jug or cafetiere on the table.Service could be slightly more relaxed but on the whole we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

I picked up a Groupon deal for afternoon tea - as my husband and I had dined at the restaurant earlier on in the year, having very much enjoyed the meal, I had no hesitation to book afternoon tea for me and my friend. Luckily the shun was shining, so we managed to sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather. We started with some cold drinks whilst waiting for our tea to be served. What a lovely surprise when it arrived. Small rolls, miniature loaves and also bread with delicious fillings. A plain and a fruitscone each with jam and a pot of cream and some small miniature pieces of cake. Also there was a good selection of teas to choose from. We came away having enjoyed it all tremendously, without feeling over full. - I have already bought another meal deal for this restaurant and can't wait to visit again.

Just got back from two nights stay. Although the room was on the small side it was very clean and well presented, we thought the mattress a little soft, but that was just our opinion. We visited the Case today for the first time (using a Groupon voucher)& we enjoyed an Afternoon Cream Tea for two & it was very tasty indeed! All The delights were homemade just scrumptious. The lady who seated & served us was very helpful & pleasant. The Afternoon Cream Tea portion size could of been more generous in my opinion & if I had paid the full price & not used a deal I don't think I would of been satisfied. The only little points I would bring to the owners attention for today is that...It would of been a lot nicer had we been seated in the conservatory on a nice clear day! And if we had the tables more spaced out rather than just all of us at the back of the restaurant which was a little cooler & the tables all right next to each other the whole restaurant was empty they were only catering for eight couples having Afternoon Tea- so space was an option. Sadly we could all hear everybody's conversations and no privacy which was a shame!I would return on a deal again without a doubt.

I have Barry's special roasted beef (for two easily) a jug of their home-made gravy, as many roast potatoes and Yorkshires (for me about 8)as I wan't (ps. you have to pay for them) and it is all home made. I'd love to be able to review the food but, this is the mail I have had to send today: I am gravely disappointed and very, very upset by your total lack of customer care: I had a reservation in your restaurant on 24th December, for 3 people. I have a written confirmation (made many weeks ago). This event was 'Christmas' with my daughter and husband as we are apart for the rest of the holidays. I had an alternative booked but my daughter asked if we could come to you: I booked THEN cancelled my other reservation. Yesterday, just 1 week before Christmas, a 'chirpy' but utterly uncaring and dismissive person called to say, 'the manager has said we are only doing Christmas lunch for residents so we need to cancel your reservation. Sorry about that. He said you can have an afternoon tea reservation and use of the Spa if you like. Protest was met with the same chirpy dismissal, followed by an email that did not apologise (no apology received, AT ALL) that confirmed the cancellation, seeming to imply that I had cancelled it. This is appalling customer service: period! People have told me you are a great venue... really??? Maybe in terms of food but certainly not, if this is an example of normal practice, in terms of customer care. Why would I want afternoon tea when I had booked a Christmas lunch? (Not a FREE afternoon tea at a time of my choice even but a 'reservation'!) Why would I want to use your SPA on Christmas eve, with my son in law (???) and when I have Banatynes membership? You have WRECKED my Christmas and simply don't care? I really would like a written apology and explanation please.
