Atmosphere is small and intimate yet lively. Very clean and nice colours. Service was very quick and efficient and the staff were so polite and friendly. Food was very nice served on lovely plates and looked lovely. Was delicious. Deffo recommend and will go again.

A group of us always pop in once a year when we are up here on our annual fishing trip, the food is always fresh and very tasty and reasonably priced

Food was generally good, but one of the dishes was a prawn korma which was the worst Indian dish I've ever had the misfortune to order. It was a (takeaway) container filled with a rather tepid korma sauce, within which we searched for prawns without too much success. We went round the table of four to see who had found any. The result was a total count of just a few small pieces of prawns. Without doubt, a total waste of my money.

Another fabulous meal at our favourite norfolk Indian restaurant. Great food and service. You need to try this excellent Indian.

My likes of Indian food are very limited but when visiting this restaurant found they asked about how I liked it e.g.spicy,they were willing to adapt to suit my palette which made it very special and encouraged us to visit again

Tonight we attended the buffet night at our local Indian Spoon restaurant in Wroxham. The event had been advertised on Facebook and we have been before. As usual we booked a table for four via their website and received a confirmation email. Later they phoned my wife and took £40 deposit over the phone via our bank card. On arrival tonight we were told we had not booked. We showed them our confirmation email but they still insisted we had not booked as they had no record of taking our deposit. The manager demanded that we show proof we had paid the deposit. We could not do that immediately and it would be irrelevant as they said they were already fully booked and would not be able to fit us in. Throughout the whole conversation the manager and his staff were argumentative and refused to accept any responsibility, even alluding to us trying to scam them out of the £40 deposit. We had no choice but to leave. On arrival home, a check of our bank account showed that £40 had been taken from our account by the Indian Spoon the day after we booked. I returned to the restaurant and asked for the manager. I was told he was busy and I would have to wait. Eventually he came and I showed him my bank statement. His face dropped and he walked off leaving another staff member to deal with me. No apology. Eventually that staff member did accept that they had made a mistake but still insisted it was my fault for not being able to prove we had paid the deposit, i.e. show the bank account at the time. I did get my £40 refunded (still waiting for it to show in my bank account). I was also offered an envelope, stating it was a voucher as compensation. I declined as I will never be going back. All trust has gone. As I left, the staff member angrily threatened me that my photo would be put on Facebook if they find that I had not paid the £40, even though he had just seen proof of the transaction. The final straw is that there was an empty table for four. I wonder if that could have been the one we booked

Buffet night. The food was excellent, nicely presented and food was nicely spiced. Staff were very polite and friendly. We will be going again in the near future, well worth travelling for.

It was our first time coming to this restaurant and it certainly won't be our last! Food was incredible, but the service was outstanding. The two brothers were super attentive and friendly and even engaged with my children and made us feel so welcome, we will definitely be back soon for another top notch curry.

First time ordering from here Website advertises 25% off on collection orders over £10 - it's in the banner of the website , it's on checkout- however this is only Sunday through to Thursday! Still ordered as there was good reviews , went for a tandoori chicken tikka, chicken Bhuna, keema rice, garlic naan, poppadoms and selection of dips. Poppadoms and dips were delicious off to a great start., tandoori chicken tikka - very bland wouldn't know it was tikka if I'm honest, bhuna was nice but again didn't scream bhuna, rice and bread was decent. Large portion sizes but don't think I'll be venturing back

The food was excellent, served hot, very tasty, generous servings with fresh ingredients. The naan and chapati were freshly made, not pre cooked and reheated. We cannot fault the food or wine at all, very good value for money. The gentleman that served us was attentive and friendly. We had a lovely evening, certainly nothing to criticise. Highly recommend.

I used to go to here a lot and it was excellent. I went tonight and the food was only ok. I ordered a "fairly hot" dish but it was very mild with no heat whatsoever. Unfortunately the food was also cold. I didn't complain while I was there as they were busy and I didn't want to make a fuss but I won't be going back. I now have to find an alternative which is sad as it used to be so good.

We tried this place on a whim last night after a day out and we were not disappointed! The service was very friendly and personal and we felt very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and had a high-end taste to it, with fresh ingredients and a lovely variety of vegetables in the meals. We eat Indian food very regularly in many different places and we were very impressed. We also felt it was reasonably priced. The only thing that let the place down was the lack of atmosphere on a Saturday evening, but perhaps it was just a slow night! We'd definitely return.

Fantastic service & fabulous food, the best Restaurant in town. This was one of the best Indian food experiences we have ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Excellent service and a warm and comfortable atmosphere just a stone's throw from the beach. Lovely decor/atmosphere and incredibly tasty and great quality dishes! The price is very reasonable. Highly recommended. Defo We will be returning again.

We ventured out for an Indian buffet. On this occasion our family had booked in at the Indian Spoon at Wroxham, after seeing a facebook advert. Arriving promptly for 5pm we were seated in boutique sized room which could only seat no more than 30 customers. The waiters were attentive, which is a positive. On the entrance is the row of hot plates which had a limited selection of really well cooked food. We ventured up a few times and for a family of 2 adults and the 6 year old we spent £65 on food. The room had no windows and parking was free although it was via Roy's car parking a few minutes walk away.

Delicious curry and peshwari naan. Delivery was on time and the driver was very pleasant.

4 of us gave tonight’s food 10/10. It was the best indian we have ever had . Thank you

6 of us booked for dinner. Very good service they call to check you are coming. They are very friendly and helpful service is very good throughout. Food was very nice and plenty of it too ..slightly different from some Indians but in a good way. Definitely recommend the place...it's small so I would book a table.

Out in the back woods of deepest Norfolk we found this restaurant and thought that we’d give it a try but didn’t have particularly high hopes of what it would be like. How wrong could we be?! We ordered takeaway as we were moored on a boat nearby. They said it would be thirty minutes and they were spot on. The guys serving us were friendly and humorous, gave us a discount for collecting it and we took the food back while enjoying the aromas from our bag of goodies. The poppadoms were nice and crisp with a good selection of pickles. Between us we had a Bhuna, Jalfrezi, Dhansak and Shashlick, all with chicken, plus pilau and mushroom rices, Kulcha naan and chapatis. All were absolutely delicious, with great flavours and maybe a little spicier than we would normally expect, but nothing that we couldn’t stomach. If we were to have stayed more than one night we probably would have visited again as we were very pleasantly surprised at just how good it was and it wasn’t particularly expensive either. Recommended!!

Booked a table for two, on arrival service wasn’t great. Sat at table for too long, eventually ordered poppadom and dips and drinks.Ordered Two Jalfrezis, one chicken/ one lamb, onion rice and chips. Jalfrezis were REDICULOUSLY HOT, definitely will NOT return .

Ordered a takeaway on the 28/08/2024, I was then informed around an hour later that they couldn't deliver my food and that a refund would be issued as of writing this today 2nd of September I still haven't received a refund, I have now had to contact my bank to recover the funds, poor customer service such a shame as I have been using Indian Spoon for several years now but very disappointed!

The four of us came here the week the restaurant opened while we were on holiday. We were so impressed that we've made a point of coming back every year whether or not we've been on holiday! Our latest visit didn't disappoint. We were a bit awkward with our booking timings but the restaurant was eager to accommodate us. Immediately on arrival, the staff were attentive and friendly and gave us a generous round of terrific poppadoms and pickles. The starters were quick out, piping hot and really excellent and our mains were really really lovely. I can't honestly say this place is as exquisite as when it first opened BUT I can assert that it is still a VERY VERY excellent restaurant and I highly recommend it.

We were staying in Wroxham and had previously had dinner on our last visit. Again an amazing meal all our party enjoyed the whole experience and we will definately book when we visit next year.

We’re here on holiday for the week and I must say even against the Indians back home this beats them all. The Naan’s were by far the best I’ve ever had. I had the montaz curry which was lovely. Anyone who likes a jalfrazi beware!! 😂 the flavours were perfect but wow it was hot! 😀 . The staff were brilliant also. We had a very loud baby with us and this didn’t phase them at all. They made us all feel very welcome from start to finish. All round definitely 10/10.

Away on holiday here in Norfolk. As a weekly curry man I do know all the best spots at home in north Essex. I have to say this is one of the nicest ruby’s I’ve had in a long time. Would definitely recommend.

The Indian Spoon, is a culinary delight! The food is exceptional, and the service is top-notch. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I had a Dansak curry and a Sag Paneer, both of which were incredible. Highly recommend this restaurant for an outstanding Indian dining experience!

Takeaway order. Bhuna. Mushroom rice. Nan and chapati. Tikka mix starter and a biriyani. Hot and nicely cooked. Staff very nice and helpful. Complimentary beer also very nice gesture. Good price and reminded me of a proper traditional Indian.

A great Indian take away, never eaten in the restaurant but cannot fault the service or food every time we have visited Wroxham.

Great food and very friendly service. The restaurant itself is quite small and has no windows. When we were there it was fairly cold and they had portable heaters running. The quality of the good though is great and the staff could not have been friendlier.

Just had my fill at the all you can eat buffet night! All the food is is really tasty, constantly being refreshed and is nice and hot (temperature and spice, should you choose). Staff are very welcoming and there's no pressure to hurry you and rush you out the door!

We were visiting the area and came here for dinner on a weekend. The restaraunt itself was a relaxing place to be and both the food and service were great. We have a tendency to over order but got it just right this time, thoroughly enjoyed the chicken balti and vegetable curry. The dips for the poppadoms were very fresh too. What we especially liked was that the waiter asked if we were ready for our main, or if we would like to wait. No where seems to do this and it's really nice not to feel rushed and to have a bit of digestion time in between courses.

I came here with two mates. We asked for recommendations off the menu and after a brief conversation about what sort of thing we liked, we were recommended some food. The food was excellent, and taylored to what we were after. The service was exceptional, very friendly and not overbearing. Would thoroughly recommend for a lovely Indian meal. 👍
