Labone Indian Cuisine in North Norfolk

Sahel at Labone restaurant was an incredible host. The food was absolutely top notch and the chicken capacilla was the best dish we have ever had. We will certainly come back soon.

We have been to this restaurant several times. Its our favourite Indian restaurant in the Sheringham and Cromer area. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. All tasted really fresh. The service is very good. We will definitely continue to visit this area when we are in the area.

We booked a table for 5 on the 40s weekend. It was busy but we received a warm welcome. Staff delightful and attentive . The food was just fantastic , every single dish was amazing . Best curry . Thank you to you all .

A superb meal in all respects, and served with passion and justifiable pride in their produce! Knowledgeable people and eager to share the taste experience. We had as our mains Lamb Punjabi for the first time, and by way of a contrast, Paneer Tika Passanda. They were exceptional, and in my opinion, beyond compare! So very delicious and I would thoroughly recommend them. Thank you, and we'll done!

Dined at this restaurant on a local recommendation. Very friendly staff, but unfortunately the food terrible. My wife ordered Lamb Rogan Josh but the lamb was so tough she could'nt chew it. She brought this to the attention of one of the waiters who replaced the dish with Chicken Rogan Josh which was ok and reduced the charge for the dish by 25%. I ordered Tandoori Mixed Grill which was all dried up, black and overcooked. We were early diners and the restaurant was almost empty and I suspect my meal had been cooked too many times. All in all a very disappointing experience down to the chef and not the waiters.

Staff were very friendly but could be too much at times whilst trying to eat our meal. The flavours were spot on but sorry to say the chicken was dry so marked as average.

Absolutely excellent experience all round. The coffee was exquisite in fact the best we have ever had!. The chicken dishes were delightful the whole family would give feedback a rate of 10/10. The service was an incredible high standard- kind, courteous and by far the best we have had.

We had such a warm welcome. The food was delicious, well served by friendly staff and some of the best Indian cuisine I've had in a long time. Great taste, perfectly cooked and good value for an evening out to celebrate my birthday. It was clear that many of our fellow diners were regulars and we'll definitely visit again next time we're in the area.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here on our 1st night in Sheringham. Asked the waiter for recommendations and he went one better. They cooked me the meal I liked even though it wasn't on the menu!

Labone are one of the best restaurants in North Norfolk. They have the best chefs and front of house team you could want, better than any gastro pub, and they’re original. They’re the oldest Curry House in the area and the food they make speaks volumes. They deliver to your door too!

We've been coming to Sheringham for our holidays over the last decade. Part of our holiday is always enjoying a meal out at Labone. The service is of a very high standard and the food is absolutely delightful. We would recommend in a heart beat! We have never been disappointed. It's always a highlight of our holiday! Thank you!

A quiet Wednesday evening when I went but service very friendly and welcoming and the food very tasty. I'd not asked them to make my bhuna as hot as I thought it would be but they had no issue bringing me some chopped chillies to sprinkle over it which made it perfect. Naan bread very good and the Cobra beer perfectly chilled.

This clean and very friendly restaurant in Sheringham local to us is highly recommended. Food delicious and reasonably priced. Good menu choices too. If you are looking for a good Indian meal this is the place to go.

If you are in the area check them out! (Even if you're not in the area, worth the drive) from the moment you enter the resturant the staff are all happy and friendly, really go above and beyond with their service, the food is exceptional and they should be so proud to be running an establishment like this one. Will definitely be returning!

Went here last year and reviewed the place. I was here again on a Wednesday night January 2024 whilst visiting the area by train so thought I would give it another go. Place is handily situated just across the road from Sheringham station, frequent service to/from Norwich. In the window was a card saying there was a Meal Deal mid week being 4 courses ( excluding king prawns ) plus papadoms and chutneys for £17.95. So I went in and for a while I was the only diner there. Handed the menu and the last page is the Meal Deal but this said the price was £21.95.On querying this I was told that the price deal in the window was for take away only. I couldnt see it said this. Had a papadom and chutneys to begin, then I had lamb tikka as a starter, chicken tikka passanda as a main, a sag paneer as a vegetable side dish and a peshwari naan. All very tasty and washed down with a pint of Cobra. Place looked clean and tidy and the toilets were OK but they could probably do with a few more customers if my visit is anything to go by. Got the bill at £21.95 for the Meal Deal but I was charged extra for papadoms and chutneys which the window card said were included in the £17.95 price. I would suggest that the window card for the Meal Deal offer is clarified to show that it is for take away meals only.

The restaurant is exceptional, but they also deliver. I had been in hospital for 3 months, and in a wheelchair - not only did they remember the area I live in, but they also remembered my name. The food is always delicious, their coconut fice is exceptional, and I would recommend the restaurant and/or the delivery service to everyone.

A good curry on New Year's eve, we went along with friends visiting from London. The restaurant was busy and the take away doing well. Staff efficient, smart and good and the food, very good. We had two bottles of the house white wine, all in all a decent experience. Even our well travelled friends enjoyed it.

Staying in Sheringham for Christmas meeting up with family. Decided to have an Indian takeaway on Christmas Eve. Delivery was on time food was amazing. Highly recommend by us all. Merry Christmas!

Food was bland and tasteless. Very disappointing - ended up in the bin. Shame because the staff are very nice.

Ordered a delivery meal Delivery driver was lovely Pity I cannot say the same about food Ordered 2 x chicken tikka main meals which comes with salad The salad consisted of a tiny amount of yellowish lettuce one slice of tomato and one slice of cucumber. The chicken tikka was so dry and almost unedable. Also Ordered Nan bread that must have been cooked a long time and warmed up. Very poor food at a premium price. Not recommend at all.

Had a takeaway for two, found it quite expensive for what we got. Never seen such small samosas! Would only take cash.

Lovely food, nice people, great service

We visited here last night for dinner and wow! Food was all delicious (we had Chicken Tikka Masala, Chilli Paneer, Chicken Pasanda, Peshwari Naan and Saag Aloo). Staff were all very attentive from the moment we walked in the door. A wonderful restaurant and we will definitely be back to sample more on the menu!

It's a joy to write about this restaurant. Food delicious, service way beyond ,they checked everything for my intolerances. Unpretentious building, inside quite lovely , I could take my 92 Yr old mum to enjoy a meal here. Access isn't perfect for a wheelchair it does have one step into the building which can be negotiated. Later found out it has won accolades as best restaurant of the year. I'm not surprised.

Wow!! Very delicious indeed. Service 5 stars. Couldn’t fault this restaurant. Food was succulent and I will definitely be retuning very soon and recommending to friends.

On a rainy evening we turned up without a booking but they were so accommodating even though they were clearly booked up; we had a delicious meal and would highly recommend this restaurant to any one. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. Thanks again!

I ordered a take away it was disgusting poppadom were soggy, the salad was at boiling point, the pickles were warm, onion bhaji were as hard as iron no filling just overcooked batter, chicken bhuna the sauce was ok but the chicken was disgusting it was hard on one side of the edges, then nann bread was ok, my stomach has been churning all night I'm just so pleased I didn't eat it all, I will never eat their again or order a delivery and will be contacting food standards agency as this should not be allowed

Arrived on time, that is the best I can say for this place, ordered meat samosas starter which were two of the smallest samosas I have ever seen. Ordered chicken tikka biryani as a main, the meat was half the size cubes as we get back home, and the meat was dry as if it had been left out. I will never order from this place ever again.

Excellent takeaway and friendly staff. Food tasted fresh and not oily. Particularly enjoyed the sag paneer and stuffed paratha - would recommend!

My son and daughter in law treated us to a takeaway meal from Labone Sheringham last night as an early Fathers Day present. We ordered four meal deals which were delicious, there was so much food that we had plenty left for lunch today. This restaurant has always been our first choice when it comes to having an Indian meal for the last 25 years. We have two Indian restaurants/takeaways in the town where we live but we choose to travel 6 miles out of our way as Labone beats them hands down for, food quality, quantity, price and good customer service. We look forward to our next visit.

The foòd is delicious and the frèe delivery is wonderful. The coconut rice and the garlic rice are tasty and I have nothing but good things to say about LaBone - we usually have meals delivered as Mum is 101 and bedbound and the Indian...

A fantastic curry house offering a very large menu and excellent curries. Having eaten here on many occasions, the food has always been fantastic, staff are very friendly and an excellent choice.
