Smashing place for Classic American car night every Wednesday evening, brilliant atmosphere in an Antique village with excellent English Ales and wine..highly recommended but noisy pop and bang hot hatch cars are NOT WELCOME.🍺🍹🍾🚗

From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely fantastic. The staff deserves a standing ovation! They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure our entire group had a blast. Their recommendations for drinks were spot on, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The location itself is perfect for a fun get-together. Honestly, we can't thank the staff at The One Green Bottle enough for making it such a memorable night. They truly turned an ordinary birthday gathering into a night to remember! Basic pub that sells fabulous real ale beers at a fair price and simple bar snaks and crisps. You can actually look into the cellar from the bar and sample the beers before buying. Staff are really friendly and chatty. A nice little watering hole

Great micro pub situated within the Battlesbridge Antiques Centre.

This unusual bar is quaint and specialising in real ales and larger. It isn’t the smallest bar but it is small and cosy. The Leigh on Sea Bawley bitter was excellent

We stumbled across One Green Bottle, a quirky pub in the middle of a collection of antique shops. Small but very nice selection of craft beers and ciders, other options also available. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Live music (on the last Saturday of the month) was fantastic. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

Had a nice coffee there, apparently they get motorcyclists in Tuesdays and Thursday from 6pm till about 9pm sounds good to me

Visited last night for the first time. Lovely staff. We was last to leave. Friendly atmosphere Will definitely be coming back.

What an awesome community! We’ve been here twice on our trip so far: once when it was quiet and once on their monthly “jam night”- both visits equally enjoyable in their own ways. The quiet visit was just beers and bags of crisps with a couple friends. Inexpensive drinks, friendly service. The “jam night” was an open mic with the whole community (it seemed!) in attendance. So much talent! It was truly a great night out and just so nice to see everyone having so much fun! Hoping we can squeeze in one more visit before we head home to the states.

Always a good selection of ales and ciders on offer. One of the few places I know that sell a decent handmade sandwich too! Friendly staff and the ideal place to sit a while away an afternoon. I visit as regularly as I can!

Spur of the moment quick drink. Great atmosphere and staff. Beer was excellent with 4 real ales on offer, ciders, and various lagers. I had Ground Speed 😁 Will definitely be back.

A fantastic little quirky pub slap bang in the middle of the Battlesbridge Antiques Market. Fantastic real ale (always changing, normally 4 on draught) and several draft ciders. Plus all of the usual bottled beer etc. Fantastic staff, always pleasant and welcoming. Great atmospheres, a real mix of people, dogs, antique traders etc. etc. lending itself to a great atmosphere. Space to drink indoors and out.

Quirky micro pub in a quirkier location; in the middle of the antiques markets. Selling a great range of real ales, straight from the barrels out back. Staff are really friendly and prices are reasonable. Had a good pint of well-kept Broadside. Food choices are primarily cheese or ham rolls, packaged small cakes etc., but plenty of other food stalls nearby. Great little place for a refreshing pint.

Really nice place, Chilled atmosphere and very good selection of Real Ales. Have cash with you as a backup as couldn't get my card reader to work but that could have been my card having a fault. Still lovely to go to, trying to go to Bike Night on Tuesday's

Great range of beers straight from the barrel, slightly quirky neither pub or bar but a good outside seating area to enjoy your beer. Friendly lady who served us and explained all the beers that were on, highly recommended

Try to get up to The Green Bottle most Tuesday nights in the summer for bike night. It has a great selection of beers. There's seating inside as well as out of this friendly micro pub. It can be a little hard to find but well worth the effort.

My go to cycling stop,great cheese and ham rolls with a well made cup of tea, when not cycling I love the selection of beers ..

Great ales whilst watching start of The Six Nation.

I visit this place four or five times a year. Regrettably yesterday 26/01/22 the two beers I drank from Wantsum were so cold they had no condition whatsoever in them. Flat as a pancake. I chatted to the server who said they had to be kept cold, but on checking the temperature in the cellar did agree they were overchilled an said she would have to do something about that. Staff really need to be trained to recognise when something is not right. I suspect the cellar is poorly insulated and largely reflects the temperature outside, whereas when it is warmer they can turn a cellar chiller on and all is fine. It's a lovely bar but get the beer temperature sorted. Oh and I do know what I am talking about; I run and have run annually for years, two major beer festivals in Essex.

Super friendly staff, came straight over to chat to us about the cider flavours and without hesitation gave us all a little sample so we could pick what we wanted to order! The ciders tasted great! Definitely recommend this place.... wish we lived closer!

Only found this place by accident a few months ago, nestled away among the antique shops of Battlesbridge, but what a find!! Excellent craft beers and ciders that are regularly changed, friendly helpful staff, and a great covered outdoor seating arrangement that's ideal for lunch and watching the world go by. Very highly recommended.

Expensive shantytown bar. Rudementry seating adds to the rustic experience. Tuesday nights popular with owners of Harley Davidsons. Proper motorcycle riders should seek their amusements elsewhere.

Quaint bar in an unusual surrounding selling amazing range of beers and ciders I've never heard of! You must try if in the area! Bikers welcome and often meet here. You've got to try some of these unusual beverages!!!! 5 stars for choice, and good friendly service, and reasonable prices!
