We booked a Friday night with Elvis. The set menu was really good. The food was hot and well presented. The steak wasn’t as good as had on previous visits, but that’s down to the butcher more than the chef Elvis was a great sport, had people joining in dancing and singing. Would definitely recommend, in July we saw Freddie Mercury and would attend again. Marco and the team are very friendly and always make you welcome x

What can I say…. Let me start with the starter I ordered Veg Spring rolls ( they are the frozen ones which were rubbish) and Thai Fish cakes yuck 🤮 I only managed to eat one they had no taste and so rubbery…my hubby ordered the tempura prawns he said they were ok Main I ordered Red Thai curry ( I always order this) BIG MISTAKE… tasted like a bowl of cream and the veg omg I don’t think they even tried to cook them they took aldente to another level… rubbish rubbish … that bad I didn’t eat much and I had set menu but decided I wasn’t going to bother with the dessert and at the end it still cost £50!! DISSATISFIED and DISAPPOINTED would be an understatement Avoid avoid avoid!! Let this be a warning ⚠️

What a great experience we had with my friend and husband. Fantastic atmosphere for a friendly catch up. Nothing too fancy other than the food. O.M.G ,superb food. Great flavours, the best tiramisu cake on earth. Definitely recommend. And more likely coming back soon.

What a little corner of heaven, its a beautiful place with delightful décor matched by the lovely friendly helpful staff and delicious food...I believe it was Richard who took care of us, what a star along with a young lady who was equally helpful. What a find...I wish I lived closer but I will definitely make an effort to return. Don't change anything.

I recently visited the Fishery Wharf Café with my family, and it was a delightful experience. The café is situated right by the canal, offering a lovely and peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed coffee and brownies, which were absolutely delicious. They also offer a variety of food options, from hearty breakfasts to light lunches, all made with locally sourced ingredients. The staff were incredibly friendly, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe of the place. Afterward, we took a short walk along the canal and were lucky enough to see boats passing through the locks—a real treat! There is convenient but limited parking available, so it’s worth arriving early. Highly recommend it for a relaxing meal or coffee break, followed by a pleasant stroll by the water!

Unfortunately was not their best night service poor. It was brother birthday and we were showed 2 tables we could choose other tables had happy birthday balloons on disappointing when they say they would do it.. Food was not much better chose al carte well putting cubes of swede and carrots and a parsnip not the kind of vegetables that people would chose 3 small potatoes 🥔 and stem broccoli not edible just stalks.. cream was squirt cream and prawn cocktail lettuce brown. Heard good reviews sadly we will not be returning.

Had lunch here with my daughter, greeted by friendly staff. Shared goats cheese tart as a starter, for mains my daughter had sautéed king prawns with garlic butter and I had sautéed king prawns with tomato and chilli, everything absolutely delicious. Fabulous Service. Would highly recommend..

I was given a free upgrade to the Marcela suite which was very traditional, spacious and clean. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast to the extent that we never ate in the evening at the hotel. The food was only average but some of the staff particularly one of the male waiters on the first two days were abrupt and unhelpful. The tables were stained and old but more to the point despite being newly laid up were unclean with crumbs. I took photos and mentioned it to this same waiter who aggressively disagreed snatched cleaning spray and cleaned the laid up tables with spray so the cutlery and crockery was then covered in cleaning spray. The tables had like a rubber top and many clients including us got their hot teapot firmly stuck ..this is not only dangerous but had the tea jerked out our phones could have been soaked too. Absolutely ridiculous for a four star hotel. Receptionist on arrival and same on checkout was super but the others were not great at front of house.
