Good consistent food and friendly service.

Had not booked but got a table straight away. Menu said which meals were glutem free and the manager explained over the fryers being strictly gluten free Had a lovely meal and then a pudding which was a lovely treat. Lovely atmosphere staff worked very hard Will definitely return. Thank you

The dinner was delicious but too small a portion. The dessert was also delicious but far too big a portion. The service was excellent but the thing that spoiled the evening was the incredibly noisy groups of celebrating people. We really couldn't hear ourselves speak.

Really good restaurant with efficient and friendly service. Food is fantastic with a large choice. Good atmosphere. Went two nights running and would recommend if you’re in Spalding.

Amazing lovely experience and food. Tasty authentic Vietnamese food. Staff are great on educating you on how to eat the food. Food comes out when ready. Tasty flavours. Definitely worth having the salted caramel Apricot iced drink. Made with fresh ingredients.

This place is rubbish. Roast beef was supermarket packet type charged £18 Sparkling water was tap water. Tables were dirty. The old boy who owns it it is a con man. Reported to office of fair trading.

We booked a last minute bank holiday Sunday lunch when staying at nearby Bakewell. Despite being very busy we were squeezed in and did not feel at all rushed. The service was friendly and welcoming, the sunday lunch excellent, and the pudding (bakewell pudding) even better. Fantastic rose wine. Just great, you made our day. Thank you!

Starter and main courses were delicious, service was friendly and quick. Only let down was the panna cotta was not set. However I would definitely go back.

It was such a great experience we've had. It was our friends bday 🎂 and we were lucky enough to get a wine and the grande board offer. We have ordered a bottle of Grillo, which is a great wine; it's refreshing and tasty. Firdous(I hope I am spelling your name correctly) made our time more special with her welcoming manner and attention.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Merchant of Venice with my friends! The food was absolutely delicious – we tried one veg and one non-veg breakfast, a panini, pancakes, iced latte, and hot chocolate. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The ambience was charming with beautiful Italian aesthetics that made the experience even better. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy a quality meal with friends. Highly recommend this place for breakfast or even just a coffee break – will definitely be visiting again. A hidden gem!

Gandhi remains our favourite takeaway. Always tasty and reliable and good value.
