Veeno Leicester in Leicester

The paninis were warm and crisp with lovely fillings. They made a pleasant change from usual sandwiches. Very enjoyable.

We had a great evening at Veeno Leicester. We had a tasting of four red wines with snacks chosen to complement each wine. Our server, Hardeep, was delightful. She was lively, attentive and informative. She dealt easily with my wife's need for gluten free food, and it was nice to be served by a genuine Italian who could pronounce bruschetta correctly! We had planned to go on to another restaurant in the area for dinner, but Veeno's ambiance, food and wine enticed us to stay. We shared an Aperitivo Board and treated ourselves to a large glass of vino each! Thanks, Veeno!

We have just turned up to this lovely little wine bar/restaurant after a brunch and it’s amazing. We have come from Hertfordshire, for the weekend, for a birthday. The sommelier was so helpful with our wine choices and the food selection s amazing. So helpful and friendly, would absolutely recommend this wonderful little gem.

Beautiful Afternoon Tea with delicious food, but on this occasion i have to comment that the service was not as good as previous visits. The venue was only about 1/4 full and there did seem to be plenty of staff, but we had to chase up to order, our Afternoon tea took almost 40 mins to arrive, we had to chase up to order more drinks, nobody came to our table to ask if everything was ok or if we wanted anything else. The staff were very polite though! Finally the toilets, management need to take a good look at these, for somewhere that markets itself as an upmarket venue, the toilets are BAD! Both mens and ladies were in terrible condition! Broken flush and seat and badly in need of a deep clean!

Great food, lovely waitress Mishka. Not a big menu but everything we like. The wine was particularly good and a very reasonable price. Would have been 5 stars all round, but the music didn't seem to fit the atmosphere of the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our "trip to Sicily". 4 wines paired with a sharing board, explained perfectly by Hardeep. Telling us what to eat with which wine & what flavours to expect. The food was beautifully presented . The Tiramisu was amazing & complimented by a delicious sweet wine. Excellent value for money. We would certainly recommend and hope to visit again soon.
