Veeno Leicester in Leicester

Really good service (many thanks Monica!), and lovely food. Finished the meal with cannoli and fortified wine - a lovely end to the evening.

The food was excellent! Our waitress Monica was kind and helpful, always smiling which added to the wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend the tiramisu!

Food was nice, Grande board was only worth it with the 50% off. The wine was great though, and Monica was fantastic.

The food tasted amazing, really friendly and generous staff. 50% off during January is fantastic too. Would recommend if you’re looking for a new place to try in Leicester or it’s you’re first time visiting and you’re looking for a lovely Italian place to go.

We booked for 4 people to celebrate my birthday. Didn't realise it was 50% off food this month so that was a nice surprise. The restaurant was busy but the service was really good! Great cocktail selection and food looked great and was delicious. Plenty of veggie options for me! Too full for dessert sadly. Thoroughly recommend and we'll definitely be back! Thank you :)

The food was tasty, but the potions were quite small for the price. Especially the lasagne which was served in a small dish, smaller than a ready meal without any salad which left us still hungry. The service was friendly, but not as attentive as I would like, especially when a 12% service charge was added. This added to a +£40 tip from our group for our 2hr stay. We had to keep waiting for someone to come over so we could get something to drink. I suppose why trying when a generous tip is guaranteed? A tip in the USA is automatically added to the bill because staff wages are small and they have to rely on it to make ends meet. This isn't the case in the UK because a fair wage is paid. We would be happy to give a tip, but if and the amount should be the choice of the customer and reflect the service given. All in all I wouldn't be back and not recommend this establishment to my friends.

Really lovely place and staff were really friendly and helpful. The sharing boards had a good selection which Mishka (who was very chatty and sweet!) took the time to explain which meats were on it. But I was a little disappointed with the lack of flavour and blandness of the vegetarian lasagne. Would go again to try another dish as atmosphere was great.

Very friendly and fun. Our servers were Monica and Iza they were very nice. The charcuterie board was very good and well proportioned.

Very disappointed as my daughter and me loved this restaurant so I booked it for Christmas eve for her.. her pizza came and she had about half of the pizza and finds a black hair under the ham. The guy who makes the food doesn't have a hairnet on.. I will not be going back to this restaurant ever again....

Not as good as it used to be - takes ages to be served, no conversation/knowledge about wine choices or selections with the staff either. The sharing boards seem to have been scaled back as well, there used to be more cheese and breads. The men’s toilet - oh my lord - broken flush and paper scattered all over the floor and piled in a corner - how can the staff think this is acceptable?

We did the food and wine pairing. Which we enjoyed thoroughly however the service was slow and the staff looked clueless. Overall was good.

We chose this for our Christmas night out as we knew the food would be amazing and we didn't want a traditional Christmas dinner....... it didn't disappoint! The food was beautiful, nicely paced service and Monica (our waitress) was brilliant. She looked after us very well, was very funny, and really contributed to a good night out!

We had an amazing time while xmas shopping in Leicester.We were made feel welcome from the moment we walked in with our 2 dogs.The food was incredible, not something I expected from such a quiet and innocent looking place.The service was also top class from both Miska and Karolina.Would no doubt recommend if you are looking for a nice place to eat in the centre of Leicester.Great vibes and nice experience overall.

Came here for an afternoon tea. Good range if ciabata sandwiches,breads and ham plus a nice selection of desserts.. Monica was our server and was very helpful and polite 🙂
