Veeno Leicester in Leicester

Absolutely amazing afternoon with pizza and fizz at veeno, the customer service was brilliant I did not catch the name of the lady but she was ever so good, and could not forget the chef Patryk which made sure we were happy with our food and provided top customer service definitely will be returning soon!

Dreadful food. Pizza was not cooked and sent back. The pasta was one congealed lump that required a knife to eat and the vegetable lasagne was tasteless mush with no body. It was like Ramseys kitchen nightmares. Worst meal Iwe have had in years. To top it all, someone decided that allowing dogs in the restaurant is a good idea. We are dog lovers but Iwe don't want one sitting on the seat next us sticking it's nose in our face when we are eating out. The only reason it is not a straight 1 star is because it is cheap and the lady serving us was working so hard to deliver a service. Unless they sort their kitchen out, she should go elsewhere as she would thrive in a good restaurant.

Had a really good experience here for the Sicilian Wine Tasting, good vinos, excellent munchies, desert too. Staff (esp. Hardeep) were so friendly and knowledgeable 😊

The food was amazing. We came after our wedding reception and Firdous made sure our stay was a night to remember. She made sure we had everything we needed and is an asset to the veno team! I love this restaurant and made our special day even better! All the staff is lovely and atmosphere was great!

Went for my brothers 21st birthday for food and drinks and the service was fantastic waiter was really helpful and polite. Drinks and food were 5 star and authentic Italian, the atmosphere made you feel really comfortable. Also enjoyed the free shot drink from the waiter. Will definitely return and recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice night. Returned today with my partner and everything was fabulous again, Mishka was very attentive and made the night relaxing and enjoyable

Comida y bebida era increíble (teníamos el plato Grande) y Hardeep K (nuestro servidor) era encantador. Ella era extremadamente servicial y tuvimos una charla encantadora sobre rugby.

Decent food, the lasagne especially. Garlic bread wasn't great. The rating for this place should probably be around 4.3/4.4.

A lovely Italian near St Martins Square. Great wine great food and a great atmosphere

Lovely atmosphere- the staff were attentive and the overall vibe was great. The small plates being served looked amazing, and so did the platters. However, the food we ordered was a little disappointing. From the reviews we had thought it would be amazing, but it was rather average. The pizza was a little cold, and the lasagne was a very small portion. The wait was also over half an hour, when the restaurant was relatively quiet. It was tasty, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend to someone who wants an Italian meal. I would say they their small plates and platters did look fab, and they also really seemed to have a great wine selection!

Pleasant Italian restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. Wine and service were good but the food was a bit disappointing. Overcooked clumpy carbonara and mushroom tagliatelle overwhelmed by big chunks of pretty raw red onion. Maybe the pizza is better...

We had a lovely time on the Quattro Rossi experience . Our host Monica was very knowledgeable about the wines and pairings, especially given I had the vegetarian options. A great experience, I’d highly recommend!

Little gem just outside of St Martin's Square. Serves Italian food and fantastic wine. We've visited here several times now and have never been disappointed. Something for everyone and very child friendly whilst still remaining sophisticated. Recommended the platters fantastic quality!

Mishka was an utter delight. She had a wonderful aura around her and obviously drinks were delivered quickly and efficiently. I hope nothing but love and happiness for Mishka and her family

They have a solid wine selection, with a nice ambiance upstairs. I had two glasses of wines and all were really nice. Mishka was friendly and was able to accommodate most of what we asked for that evening. The cheese board was nice but needed far more bread (a few small bits, for a sharing platter for two? Come on); when I asked for more, an order of breads and oil was brought out, which we were charged for. Food was generally OK; I'm glad we had the 50% off food offer on or I'd have been a little disappointed, given the usual prices. Main dishes, pizzas, pastas etc hover around £14/15 ordinarily. The lasagne was tasty but a small portion, served in a small baking dish. The pasta my friend had was nice apparently, but the pepperoni pizza seemed a bit underdone and you can find better for cheaper in Leicester. The arancini (which comes as one larger arancini) was decent but oddly hard on parts of the outside. The bill came to about £33 a head with two starters and a sharing cheese board (for two), extra bread between us and a main each, plus two glasses of wine each and service. It was a good experience at this price, but would have been about £46 each without the 50% food discount. I might revisit but only for a few glasses of wine and some cheeses in future.

We had an amazing experience to Veeno. The wine tasting was definitely a highlight! The selection of red, white, rosé, and dessert wines was impressive, each one more delicious than the last. Firdous really made the experience special—her knowledge, enthusiasm, and personal touch made it unforgettable. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Veeno in Leicester.

The food tasted amazing, really friendly and generous staff. 50% off during January is fantastic too. Would recommend if you’re looking for a new place to try in Leicester or it’s you’re first time visiting and you’re looking for a lovely Italian place to go.

We booked for 4 people to celebrate my birthday. Didn't realise it was 50% off food this month so that was a nice surprise. The restaurant was busy but the service was really good! Great cocktail selection and food looked great and was delicious. Plenty of veggie options for me! Too full for dessert sadly. Thoroughly recommend and we'll definitely be back! Thank you :)
