It was mine and my husband first time, it food was lovely with lots of flavour and the staff was excellent too, will definitely go back in the near future.

I have been to this restaurant several times. The staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious. It's worth every penny. It's one of my favourite restaurants in Nottingham.

Food was genuinely amazing, staff were very welcoming and it was our first time trying Vietnamese food. Really recommend the Grilled Beef with Green peppe, spring rolls and the egg fried rice !

I could not believe the level of detail the lovely staff went to, from the very beginning they greeted us and took us to our table. Every need was met without ask and the service was above and beyond. The atmosphere is incredibly vibrant yet relaxed, such a good location! I was extremely impressed by the food, I would strongly encourage everyone to give it a try, very lucky to have such an authentic and high quality dining experience here in Nottingham. Amazing!!

Some of the best Pho I’ve had, absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, I did notice an issue that affected our experience. One of the team members (possibly a manager, as she wasn’t in uniform) had a strong body odor, which made us a bit uncomfortable during our visit. It’s a sensitive point, but attention to personal hygiene is important in hospitality. Otherwise, a great meal and welcoming environment.

Katherine and the team was really nice in welcoming and explaining the menu to us. Portions are really generous, biggest spring rolls I've ever seen. (Bonus: the waitress was really attractive)

Service was amazing and all the staffs were friendly and welcoming. But, I think food was overpriced and more expensive than London but not that good in taste. The broth was too light. Spring rolls were also just average. It was crunchy but the stuffing inside spring rolls were missing something in taste.

Disgusting!!!! Around 3 weeks ago my daughter took me out for my birthday to the most beautiful Vietnamese banh mi eatery on low pavement the food was absolutely amazing the service was perfect the whole experience was a dream to true, I was in love with Vietnamese food. But it all come with a massive bang when I visited Viet 80 last week!!! What an absolute disgrace of a company!!! We were told to sit down and not one staff member even looked our way for 30 minutes, I had to get up and go looking for someone then I was told to sit down again very impolite staff and we waited another 10 minutes, when the waitress turn up she was really not clean at all muck or soil all over her looked like she had just been digging out back, then the food well where do I start, I think they forgot to put meat in our banh mi's ! We had literally 3 small pieces and some salad stuck in and I think they was even cost saving on that all thrown together with no care what so ever. The Bread was like eating an old shoe definitely not made on site like at low pavement definitely a place you need to stay away from, Then on top of it all the staff member asked why I'm not leaving a tip !!. If you want a proper banh mi then please get yourself down to low pavement dont waste your money here,

Came here 12-04-25. 1st time trying Vietnamese food, was truly wonderful. Staff were very friendly, the place was clean and the food was absolutely beautiful. Avocado smoothie was delicious, tried snails for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised. 100% I would come back here again, fully recommend people to come and try.

As a party of three without a reservation, we were seated straight away. The staff were very friendly. Food seemed overpriced for what it was, and not particularly special or flavoursome. I think if we hadn't struggled to find somewhere to eat without a reservation, then we would have probably tried somewhere else. The restaurant felt, clean but not spotless. Strangely the restaurant wasn't busy in comparison to other venues in the city that evening. Maybe this should have been a warning. Disappointing, wouldn't recommend or return.

I've been coming to Viet80s for some time now. To put it simply, there is no better Vietnamese food anywhere in Nottingham. I think I may bankrupt myself if I keep going so often! The service is impeccable. The food is delicious and they give you large portions which is important for a big lad like me! Staff are friendly and warm. I also noticed a lot of in-house staff only events in the downtime, which is a great thing to see when the staff themselves enjoy the food and place they work. On two occasions I've asked for something that wasn't even on the menu (Egg coffee) and they went out of their way to provide me with it (guys, get it on your menu! It's great!) and even asked us for feedback on how it was. The first instance was complimentary and I wasn't even charged because they were trialing it out. Even in passing coming back/to work I get a smile and a wave. Lovely bunch of staff! I've eaten at a few different Vietnamese places (wonderpho, for example) and it just simply does not compare. picked up a bahn mi for lunch. Served on microwaved then toasted bread, not fresh French baguette. No pickles or freshness to counter the greasy fillings. With amazing Vietnamese offerings within the city, it won't be hard to go elsewhere for a decent bahn mi! Lovely setting and friendly staff... real shame.

The soup I ordered was hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. The broth was rich, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. And the portion? Absolutely huge! I felt like I was being served a meal fit for a king (or at least for someone who hadn’t eaten in days). The service was just as great—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only tiny downside? There’s no kids’ menu, so if you bring little ones, be prepared to share (or watch them eye your giant bowl of soup with envy). Overall, this place is a gem. If you love Vietnamese food, don’t walk—run!

I recently visited Vet80, hoping for a great Vietnamese dining experience, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. First, the food was far from spectacular, especially considering the high prices. It felt overpriced for what was served. There’s also no kids’ menu and no simple options like plain noodles, which makes it clear they don’t really cater to families with children. The atmosphere was off, too. The music inside had no connection to Vietnamese culture—just random chill-out tracks playing. The walls looked plain, and the overall vibe felt uninspired. Service wasn’t great either. One of the servers nearly dropped a bowl of soup while placing it down, which wasn’t exactly reassuring. There’s no draft beer, only small bottled options, which was another letdown. What really made things uncomfortable was the receipt policy—they handed us the bill as soon as we placed our order. It felt like they were checking whether we could afford it, which was awkward and unnecessary. I eat out in town a few times a week, and I’ve never experienced anything like that before. Overall, the experience just didn’t feel right. I’m disappointed and won’t be returning. It was worth trying once, but definitely not worth a second visit.

What a great dining find Viet80's was. The menu was clear, the food and service were was excellent, and due to food allergies in the group, the staff were very attentive and took great care to ensure the food was safe. If I lived in or near Nottingham I'd be in Viet80's all the time. No photos as I was to involved with enjoying my dinner. Absolutely 5 stars all the way. If this was Britain's got talent, they'd have gotten a golden buzzer.

Hi. I have tried the grilled pig tripes one months ago and when i last time i went there and condnt find it on menu. I ask one staff and showed the photo of it and lastly i got the grilled chopped pork sausage. I ask it again when i check out. He responded that the two are the same. Today i ordered the grilled pig tripes on uber and received what i want. I hope you can tell your staffs that the two are different and wont happen again. Bytheway the attitude of service and taste is very good.

They even took the time to teach us how to properly enjoy certain dishes which made the experience even more immersive. Now onto the food. Every single dish was exquisite. The flavors blended perfectly yet remained distinct, creating an unforgettable experience with each bite. Every dish had a unique and vibrant profile that stood out in its own way. The Summer Rolls Goi cuon tom were fresh and packed with flavor, setting the perfect tone for the meal. The Salmon Bun Soup Bun ca hoi chua cay was a standout with its perfectly balanced tangy and spicy broth. The Spicy Beef Bun Soup Bun bo Hue had deep rich flavors and the perfect level of heat. The Soul Hanoi drink Nuoc sau was refreshingly different and complemented the meal beautifully. Desserts like the Caramel Flan Banh flan and Pomelo Sweet Soup Che buoi provided a delightful finish, light, creamy and full of authentic flavors. Everything we ordered was exceptional and the attention to detail in the flavors and presentation was evident. If you are looking for a place that serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine with outstanding service, Viet80s is an absolute must visit. Highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back.

Myself and partner dined here today, accidentally went into the street food restaurant, for anyone going, there are two seperate entrances for different dining experiences. The staff in both restaurants were incredibly friendly, service was very prompt. We were offered a complimentary tea and our drinks were delicious. The spring roll starter was delicious but the fried chicken starter was a bit disappointing, still cooked to perfection, just not suited to our palate as it tasted like lemongrass. My partner ordered the duck fried rice, he said the rice was seasoned well, it was really nice but the duck was lacking in flavour. I ordered the beef shin pho and it was the best pho I've had in a long time, really flavourful and comforting, definitely recommend. Overall it was a good experience, I'd definitely go again to try other items on the menu and there seemed to be some returning customers in the restaurant which is always a good sign.

The seafood pho was very bland and expensive. This was the only time I've left a resteraunt disappointed. Service and atmosphere were good though and so were the handmade drinks.

The shaking beef and salted lemon grass chicken are the bees knees.

The food was really good but the service was impeccable! All the staff members were so lovely and so kind and I felt so taken care of. I had a great time enjoying my meal there :)

Today I learned that Vietnamese people are wonderfully kind and considerate. Everyone working here is full of smiles. The food and service was wonderful. I should probably learn how to master using chopsticks. I would love to come again.

Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and paired perfectly with a refreshing shredded vegetable salad. The salad’s light, tangy dressing balanced out the richness of the tofu, making every bite super satisfying. Everything was tasty and well-balanced. Definitely a great place for Vietnamese food! Nice relaxed place with friendly staff. I had the beef shin pho, really light and fresh. A great thing is most of the dishes are mild but flavoursome, then you get a side of chillis and chilli sauce so you can spice it up to you level. Staff well aware of allergies too so easy to request no peanuts.
