I had dinner here.The food is okay compared to the high price. But the hygiene here is very poor !!! I saw that the staff didnt change their gloves after cleaning the table with chemicals, and used the same gloves to bring the eating utensils to me.Also the water glass looks dirty and has stains because it has not been cleaned.

Loved it here! They do such authentic flooding Nottingham. We have travelled south east Asia extensively and have never tasted such authentic food in the UK. Highly recommend!

We ate here a while ago with our toddlers. Food was alright, not much complain there but we just think it’s not super family friendly. They don’t have kids menu, okay, no big deal but we had our toddler’s water bottle on the table and they told us to put it away per restaurant’s policy. We’ve never ever had this happened to us in any other restaurants especially it’s the kids water bottle. I respect their policy about outside drink/food but was very surprised about how strict it is.

My partner and I had a wonderful time yet again at this establishment! Served up food which which resembled comfort food back home :) Definitely would recommend Viet80s to everyone and will be back for sure!

2nd time returning; nice to have such tasty Vietnamese food. Biggest recommendation for Viet80 is the great service, the servers are very knowledgeable and kind - always a pleasure. Food is so tasty that I also got take away for the evening too.

Absolutely fantastic food and service at Viet 80s. Staff were very welcoming and warm throughout our visit. Nothing was too much for them. Very reasonably priced and food for all diets. Will definitely come back to Viet 80s when I am back in Nottingham.

I came here with a friend for the first time and the service here was impeccable, our server Justin could not do enough for us! The food was served promptly and was very good, I would definitely recommend!

First time visiting this restaurant and I’m so glad we did. The service was amazing, I’ve never been anywhere with such good service. Our server told us most of the menu and recommended meals to us. I went for the Stir Fried Noodles with Prawns and my partner had the Spicy Beef Bun Soup! We also had the Tofu as a starter. All of it was delicious. The salt coffee was so tasty and the Red Berry Ice was nice too. Shall be visiting again!

Very quite when we came in but that was down to the time of day. Service was quick and friendly and the food came quick. Food was fantastic loads of flavours packed in small but filling meals. Definitely will come again!!

Viet80s is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant and 100% my number one favourite restaurant in Nottingham. I have visited (and ordered from) this place more times than I can count and can say they consistently excel in every measurable way, every time. There are very few restaurants in the city that can come close in terms of taste, service, and price-point. The food is simply amazing. Whilst everything I’ve sampled from the menu has been delicious, my favourite go-to is always their beef pho, especially the rare beef shin pho. Not only is their pho delicious, it leaves you feeling warm, satisfied, and comforted from within. From the first taste, you can tell it is made from fresh, good quality ingredients and served with perfectly seasoned, aromatic broth. It is served with beansprouts, herbs, chilli, and a wedge of lime to squeeze. But if you need an extra kick, you can also request extra seasoning or condiments. (Personally, I like to add a bit of extra chopped chilli.) I also recommend prawn summer rolls, which is my favourite starter. Viet80s is also the perfect venue for a meal with a group of friends or family. I had my birthday meal here once with a group of friends with a wide range of dietary requirements- vegetarian, vegan, halal, lactose intolerance… There are plenty options on the menu that catered to everyone in my party and everyone enjoyed the food here. Beyond the tasty food, the staff at Viet80s are lovely. They are always welcoming, friendly, and attentive every time I visit. They are always keen to make sure you are enjoying your meal and have everything you need. I grew up in East Asia but the Vietnamese food here is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Forget the overpriced, westernised chains and come here instead, you won’t regret it! To any staff or owner reading this, thank you for the work you do and for the delicious food!☺️ I look forward to coming back, as always. Generous portions of really tasty food. The eating area is stripped-back utilitarian, and if I had one slight criticism it's that the acoustics are somewhat harsh - we were in a large group. The staff, however, make the place, they were fantastic.

The staff at Viet80s were so accommodating and friendly when I attended for a work gathering of almost 20 people. They made it so easy to book and were super attentive on the day. The food came out quickly and was delicious, with generous portion sizes and a wide variety to choose from. The staff also gave useful recommendations on how to eat certain dishes as they would in Vietnam! 100% recommend to anyone in the area.
