Had a wonderful plate of fried rice here. The ingredients and flavours were very authentic and the portion size was generous. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely blown away by our experience here today! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, they checked in on us when necessary, were quick to refill drinks, and very attentive as we were entering and leaving, which all really added to the experience. The menu was clearly labelled and descriptive, the food came in a good time and the portions were very generous. The food was extremely flavourful in the right way, and you can tell a lot of care is put into it. If you want to try authentic Vietnamese food this is the place to come, Thank you so much!

This place instantly drew out attention as there’s live music playing as well. We sat outside with a lovely view and the waitress was very lovely, the food was ready very quickly and i must say it was the best tasting spring rools i ever had, really unique texture and it comes with a complementary sauce that is also one the best sauces i ever

I’m very impressed with the restaurant and staff; the food was delicious, authentic and fresh and the service was faultless. I was welcomed and served by Hà My, who was very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. There’s plenty to choose from - I can highly recommend the beef bún bò xào and the imported Vietnamese coffee. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in Nottingham.

First time visiting. Love the restaurant and the staff. Such an authentic experience. We had the honey chicken starter and beef shin mains and duck rice. Generous portions and delicious. Perfect for couples or friends. Beautiful decor. Finished with a coconut coffee which was yummy and smooth. Would definitely come back again! Very relaxing and filling.

I visit this restaurant everytime I travel to Nottingham. They provide exellent services and food every single time. As a Vietnamese, I would say their dishes are 95% authentic just because the ingredients are not the same as in Vietnam. They keep updating their menu as well with snacks and drinks. Highly recommened. You won't be disappointed.

Service here was excellent, warm, welcoming and attentive. Prices were reasonable and menu was well presented as are the surroundings. Was slightly disappointed with the food, summer rolls were very large but mainly lettuce and only 2 prawns one at either end of the roll. Id expect more crunchy veg, noodles and prawns (it should look like the menu picture!). I had a spicy beef pho with this, what I love about Vietnamese is the fresh vibrant flavours. Hardly any of this was provided with the side dish, Thai basil, coriander and mint are normally generously provided. The broth was ok but lacked depth of flavour that I would expect.

Very nice place to eat in. We had the Pho, vegan spring rolls and iced berry drink. All were really delicious, good portion size as well, I couldn't finish all mine. Free hot green tea as well! Service was great, everything was taken care of for us. Now that we've found a good place for Pho, we'll definitely be back!

I took my family here for my sister's birthday party and it was phenomenal. The restaurant was very family-friendly. They sang happy birthday songs and gave us fantastic moments We ordered a lot but here are what we found the best: - Fried tofu - Stir-fried goat - Bun dau mam tom - Fried rice with prawns - Basically the pho was good. Such a gem in Nottingham.

We enjoyed our food at Viet 80s. Very attentive and quick service. Vegan spring rolls were the best I've had, and vegan rice and noodles very nice. Really enjoyed the tofu. Pho could have had more flavour, I don't like coriander and unfortunately this overpowered. Fairly priced, but tip added to card when paying without our knowledge and was not stated as a service charge on the bill, we would have preferred transparency with this.

Ordered the beef pho and it tasted disgusting. Super sweet, no savoury taste in the slightest. Reached out to restaurant to discuss it but received no response. Don't buy, not worth the money or time!

The service was very friendly and welcoming. Was impressed with that. I think that's where it ends. I Had a summer roll which I enjoyed. I Had a rice and duck and salad and to be honest was very very dry and tasteless to say the least. The egg in the rice tasted burnt. The meal I felt like I was eaten a body builders pain diet. That's not what you expect in a expensive restaurant. very bland. I think for the price and quality, I probably won't be returning

Sadly I had high hopes for Viet80s but visiting today shattered every hope much like the stale banh mi baguette that could have been bought from Tesco, but Tescos would have been better. When we arrived, we were seated and given menus. The menu is separated into Street Food and I guess Restaurant Food. Dishes like Banh Mi, Goi Cuon (fresh spring rolls) and a few others are on the street food whereas you can order Pho, Bo La Lot (grilled beef in betel leaves) from the restaurant menu. We ordered from the street food menu, using the app. After 40 minutes of waiting and speaking to 3 servers, we were asked to show our paid transaction in order to prove we had ordered and paid. Another 10 minutes and a takeaway bag appeared at the table - a stale and unappealing banh mi and a plastic container of chewy rice and tasteless braised pork were inside. This was completely awful. I am sorry I tasted either. We started the meal with Goi Cuon £8.50 and steamed rice rolls. I don’t think these are value for money as it’s ridiculous how much these cost here and they don’t cost £3 to make in total. Not worth it. Our friends had the Pho - and having had this delicious soup in Vietnam and in Melbourne, what our friends got was a dishwater imposter. I’m not happy with this experience- hideously expensive, poor service (as soon as we order the bill was placed on the table) - They forgot our beer and we had to ask twice for tea and 4 times for missing food.

hardly ever make any reviews on here but had to jump up to give a 5 star review for one of the few best Viet restaurants in the UK. Beef noodles was cooked perfectly, the spice and the lemongrass taste were just exquisite. Thank you for your excellent service and keep up the good work! Cảm ơn cả team Viet80s
