The best restaurants in South Kesteven East Midlands

A warm welcome, pleasant decor and excellent food at a reasonable price. Service was speedy and the table cleared of plates very promptly. We were in quite early and noticed it began to get busy for lunch, so it is a popular venue. Couldn't fault the food or service - well done to the staff.

Booked a table for a birthday meal for my wife. When we arrived we went to the bar to say we had our reservation. They showed us to our table. We had a great evening. The food and service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

These were by far the worst chips I've ever had. The only positive thing I can say is the lady that served me was polite. Not sure how many times they've cooked these or if the oils needs changing. Even my dogs turned their noses up at them

We have enjoyed staying at this hotel before, this time we have had a tapping noise all night, kept us awake and the bed is not very comfortable

Lovely food tapas had a lovely selection for meat eaters or vegetarians. Very busy Christmas parties happening,lively atmosphere. The staff were super busy but very polite and friendly. Happy to go again.🌲 Also dog friendly

Was hoping for better. Wanted to like the chippy but just felt a bit dated all round from the actual restaurant to the food. It was edible and well presented. Nice friendly staff. Prices were ok. Not often I don't want to finish my chippy tea, it just wasn't great and didn't feel to healthy after.

Don’t judge the restaurant by what it looks like outside,once you’re in there the food is good and actually very authentic furniture inside. And it’s eat as much as you like 👍

Ordered online took over an hour. When I called them asking where it was they claimed they didn't have it come through even though they accepted it. When we finally got it, it was almost cold. Never again.

We had lunch in this lovey place and we love it. Staff was so nice and attentive. Food good looking and great taste.

We booked a table last minute and we were looked after very well. Food was good and plenty of it.

Basic room, as well as the bathroom; located in a quiet area but close to the center. The bed is very comfortable. The real plus is the owner, friendly and very helpful, who welcomed us warmly and then accompanied us in his car for a tour of Stamford and the surrounding area. Of note is the excellent restaurant, the lamb we tasted is unforgettable as are the wines. It does not have a lift or air conditioning. We were the only guests in the hotel: the lack of a traditional buffet or English breakfast, but replaced by packaged products, and the non-working heating which was remedied with an electric heater in the room, can be understood and not negatively impact the overall judgment. I will stay here again if I'm ever in Stamford.
