Prezzo Italian Restaurant Grantham in South Kesteven

Went with a family party of 8 midweek. Food was absolutely lovely although a little on the pricey side in my opinion. Service was very slow and we had to chase to get tabled cleared after main course. I appreciate that you don't want to be rushed, but equally don't want to be waiting ages either. It was midweek but quite busy and I don't think there was enough staff on. Would certainly go again.

Me and my 8yo love our local prezzo. Staff are attentive and helpful. Cannot fault them at all

Had a lovely evening celebrating my birthday. Food was delicious and hot. Good choice on menu. Very slow in taking our order but they were busy and not many staff. Will definitely come again though

Nice food and service. Very quick to serve mains as soon as starters are finished. Felt rushed so left as soon as we finished even though the place was half empty. Been rushed a few times so was expected

First time I’d visited this restaurant it was my 81st birthday and my wife and I both enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal on Monday - spaghetti carbonara x 2, one with tender chicken pieces added. We would definitely order the same dish again. As far as atmosphere is concerned, we always find the noise level, in the Grantham branch, very loud!

Greeted by a very polite young man who found us a table even though my booking was actually for two days prior, whoops! Great service, never rushed and food was delicious! Lovely decor and comfy seating. A very pleasant all round experience!

The best Prezzo I've been to! This is a modern, stylish and comfortable restaurant. We are always extremely satisfied with our meals, they are served promptly and are delicious every time. I highly recommend the wild strawberry lemonade. The staff are always polite and friendly at the Grantham Prezzo and it is well worth a visit!

A lovely lunchtime dining experience. The 2 different seafood dishes we chose were excellent, the king prawns in each were very tasty and not overcooked. I used my special offer coupon of 1 mains & the second for £1.00, so it was very good value for the dishes we chose. The desserts were also of very good quality. Our server was pleasant & attentive whilst not being "obtrusive".

Ordered delivery, undercooked pizza arrived at my door with tomato sauce in little bumps instead of spread...

The manager and staff are a credit to this company, food always prepared and served to a high standard.

Wasn't on time but only by 5 mins and it was busy (Saturday before Christmas). Normally ok but below standard quality wise, again it is silly season!

My friend and I visited for an afternoon get together and long awaited catch-up. The staff were welcoming and attentive, without being too forceful. The food was delicious and they catered to our food intolerances without any complaint.

Good food and service but the drinks are expensive. £6:50 for 330ml bottle of beer. Down the road the local pub does pints for £4 - £5.00 so I would suggest water with your meal then off to the pub

Food was great. We waited a bit long but otherwise everything was great. If you need it you should go somewhere else😅

After a busy day ordered spaghetti bologna, mozzarella garlic bread and fries. I don't have a big appetite but I thought the bag was a bit light when it came. The box containing said spaghetti bol was only half full. Although it was tasty, it was a small portion. The fries were cool and for £4.30 again it was a small portion. The garlic bread had a small dollop of mozzarella in the middle and again the bead was small. Also, it was like they had used garlic salt across the bread as it had a sandy texture. Very disappointed.

Went here when visiting family in cottersmore. Have to say in all honesty..this was the most delicious pizza I have ever had..I've been to pizza resteraunts before and couldn't compare to prezzo pizza .

Food is nice but not overwhelming. My portion was quite the portion but my husband's was so small he ended up eating mine. Mine was the king prawn spaghetti but as a sea food lover the prawns are not king size. The taste was enjoyable enough. Husband has crab and lobster ravioli. If you have a big appetite this will not fill you. The portion is very small There was 10 of us so we were all happy with the food and atmosphere Thanks

My first time in this restaurant, the occasion was a goodbye party for a colleague that is moving to another company. I can say the food, service and drink were excellent, really good atmosphere and a diverse range of food options. I’m definitely will be back.

It's clean with modern if uninspiring decor and the food is ok but there's no escaping it is hideously, hideously over priced. And that's not a Grantham thing but corporate chain greed. Sadly very common these days.

Really nice Prezzo in a prime location in the centre of Grantham. Onstreet parking after 1830 and a nearby multistorey. Excellent menu with many choices. Wine list not extensive but more than adequate. Beer selection poor. Staff friendly and efficient. Restaurant very clean and well presented. Well worth a return visit

Booked a table for 9 of us 1st August 2023 the food was excellent,couldn't decide from the menu was so much choice ended up having the Antipasti as a starter and the salmon pasta as a main both were full of flavour. Ideal for a special occasion,a little pricey for a walk in Restaurant/takeaway,would definitely come again with a little but more hindsight into there prices. As the saying goes you pay for what you get and my meal was worth the price.

Food was really nice and well presented. Service wasn't overly friendly, they just did what they needed to do. Not much interaction, so doesn't make for the complete experience. Might go back if I'm in Grantham.

This is the first time I've eaten at a Prezzo, and the Grantham branch set the bar very high. I had a delicious garlic bread and a pizza, both were delicious, piping hot and served by great staff.

June 2023 Great Lunch , the beef was good and the pino rose wine 2021 was very good. Nice cheesecake to finish.

Standard Prezzo. You know what you're getting. But some new additions to the menu (summer 2023).

Prezzos version of Italian food is a bit average. Pasta flavoursome but a bit oily and the garlic bread pizza was ok but nothing special The service and decore were nice

I was unaware that you couldn't use a gift card online for a take out option. Matt, however made an exception for me to use mine and for it to be a take out. I'm very grateful for this. Thank you for the excellent customer service. I really appreciate it. Will definitely come back to eat in the restaurant 😋

Great food everytime, shame the staff was very attentive this time. Had to ask for bill 30mins after finishing dessert, mains came out before table had been cleared. Overall it was good

Lovely venue and super friendly servers!! Great quality food, the pizzas in particular are always a winner! Request a booth if you want a really intimate and cosy feel. We will definitely be visiting again.

Very nice. Bit pricey though for pasta and pizza. The beer is like £7.00 a pint. We only in Lincolnshire not London. Good job we have a taster card which brings the cost down. Service great. Food delicious

We only went here because we had Tesco vouchers to use and had just been to the cinema. Not great food especially for the high price. Children asked where the rest of the pizza was, I had the chicken pasta thing.... couldn't find and chicken. The staff kept coming over to see if we had finished. Made us feel rushed.

Good service, lovely staff, food good. Just lacks a little atmosphere when compared to the other Italian restaurants in Grantham. More a 4.4. Recommended.

No major complaints. Food is decent quality and big enough portions. Been at least once a month recently and consistent food quality. Unfortunately service lets them down, they must be quite short-staffed as there is a bit of a wait between meals, being seated and asking for drinks, dessert menu, bill etc. Have to flag down staff several times - despite relatively speaking, not many customers in. Although staff are lovely and polite, albeit frazzled sometimes. As long as you have some company to chat with and aren't absolutely starving, this isn't really an issue, when I've been, it's approx. 15 mins wait between things, had just a main & 1 drink and was there about an hour and a half. I will continue to go here as food is nice, good price and staff are very friendly. Can empathize being short staffed

Food is good but not outstanding. Few vegan options. Staff not very attentive. Expensive for what it offers. Not surprising that we could'nt get into Cinco Lounge next door but Prezzo was more than half empty.

The food is really nice but the service was terrible. We had a 30 minute wait between meals and had nothing to drink for quite a while- on a SUNDAY with about 20 customers. Then when we paid the bill a whopping service charge was added. Won’t be going back. Sort yourselves out Prezzo Grantham. The prezzo in Peterborough is much better run. We had a table of 8 so they could have increased our spend by just checking on drinks? We actually waited 40mins for a jug of water to arrive. No excuses. Poor.

Nice food, but we felt a bit ripped off when we received the bill. They added a 10% service charge and tip for themselves without making it clear or telling us before taking payment. They did pay it back after we challenged them, and they did credit us back ( in the case £373), but then asked us to repay the normal bill amount. The thing is they took over £700 in takings from us, and now we wait 3 days to get the credit. Very naughty! They spoilt our experience and evening to be honest. We wont be going back.

Overpriced. Very mediocre pizza.

We waited over an hour for food after a long wait to take our order, whilst all staff avoided our table and failed to inform us about any waits on food. The food itself was okay, but somewhat tasteless and not worth the high prices.

I haven't been here for a while but it always left me with a good impression. Unfortunately that isn't the case now. First, the service was good and friendly. I was just disappointed with how bland the food was, and both meals were £16+ each. The bowls they were served in were stained also, and the seats were sticky. It's a shame as I've liked this place over the years.

Pasta was dry, pizza wasn’t hot and the bread was in an envelope style pack so when taking it carefully out the topping stayed in the pack

Smart, modern restaurant in a good location. It is fine on weekdays, but is understaffed and over-priced at weekends.

Only take bookings even though the restaurant was empty. Surely you would want to keep customers coming and take any business you can after being closed for a long time! Not great service!

Had the set menu three course meal. Really enjoyed the garlic bread for starters and the carbonara was beaut other than a strong herb taste mainly around the chicken pieces, so I didn't eat the chicken but I am a fussy eater. Also the chocolate cake for dessert I wish could have been warm but didn't have time to ask but I'm sure they would have warmed it for me. Also the toilets are up many stairs and as a disabled, pregnant lady was not ideal. Staff were friendly enough and the restaurant was nice and clean.

Great service and good food. The only thing that could be improved is the Alfredo pasta, which we had with veggie chicken - it was very bland and had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make it nice enough to eat. Everything else was delicious though and hence the five starts.

Prezzo has always been our restaurant of choice for our work nights out. 31st a group of 10 booked in, food was lovely, but the table service wasnt at its best, felt rushed & ignored.

All our food was very tasty, unfortunately personal service was lacking - we were never asked once throughout our 3-course meal how are meal was, and had to ask twice for our dessert. It was a quiet Monday evening so no excuses really.
