Standard Starbucks on the A1. Plenty of parking. Entrance is very tight, heavy braking required!

Super A1 Starbucks. Great food and coffee as always and nice friendly service.

Amelia (My wife) told me to give 5 stars for this, as the service and staff was very good. I had a look around the Starbucks and it was excellent, very clean and has a great feel to it. The coffee was also really good. Only downside was very expensive. £6 per coffee at this branch.

Ok version for effectively a pit stop on A1. Service was reasonable and not too long a wait. Usual hopeless vegan range however

Filthy place especially the toilets the tiles have pee on from months of build up, no toilet roll in the holder. I am not the first to review poorly for the dirty facilities. The manager obviously doesnt care. The fire escape is locked and marked out of order surely as a marked escape route this should be open. AVOID.

I ordered on the app 2 iced drinks and 2 food items and when I arrived there was a sign on the door stating they aren't able to make iced drinks as the ice machine is broken. I was confused as my order had gone through on the app, and they should have turned iced drinks OFF on the app if they cannot make them. When I spoke to the employee they said the employee should be on their way back from buying ice from the shop and I said I would wait 5 minutes as I needed the toilet anyways. I waited 10 minutes for the employee to come and say that the person with the ice will not be back soon now as it ran out at the location they went. He also told me that they had now ran out of the food item I had ordered (meaning they either didnt want to tell me that in the first conversation, or they had since sold the last one that I had ALREADY payed for? either way is ridiculous and it should have been off the menu also.) So he ended the conversation saying hes going to ask his manager. We waited a further 10 minutes before the Manager coming out and basically tell me they cant help me and We have to "call them ourselves" I have now lost 20 minutes and £13 with both employees essentially throwing their hands in the air and saying well this is awkward we can't actually help you at all. They also had offered to make our ICED drinks without ice? One being a Frappe? Not sure how that meets Starbucks product standards. I am aware it isnt their fault the ice machine broke, but they have a responsibility to take sold out items off the menu on all ordering platforms. Clearly, they struggled with this as 75% of my order was not doable. My advice is to not have these things on the menu until you HAVE the ice ready. This was 21/7/24, with my order placed at 12:34pm, arriving to the shop at 12:40pm and only leaving at 1:05pm

We were unable to take our dog into this outlet unlike other Starbucks. We ordered on the app but when I went in staff had not seen it come through. The outlet had no napkins and service was slow and poor quality. We had to sit out front for our meal .

Never been a Starbucks fan but this one is now my favourite!!

As you would expect. Toilets were fine and clean. Quick service, but a shame to see there is only one employee on her own. Had some nice comfy chairs, we could have sat there all day, but the North is calling.

Very expensive, bring enough ID to apply for a mortgage. Atmosphere is very quiet, similar to a grave yard.... I suspect that many have died of sudden heart failure when they got asked for payment.

Been going with the dog for years to find out now not dog friendly; no sign on the door either. Why sell puppacinos, and why if nearly all Starbucks are dog friendly, needs putting on website

Lonely Starbucks on the A1. Parking and a travelodge. Usual soapy coffee. Good place to sit and contemplate how life has retreated you badly. Regretting life choices in a a corporate monster of low quality coffee and cheap furnishings.

Exactly what you would expect from a Starbucks. All the staff are excellent, very friendly and attentive

It is a bit out of the way and the slip road to it is a bit short when pulling off of the A1, but it is a good place to stop and break up a journey. It is clean, warm and the staff are always welcoming.

The staff are lovely and friendly. It's a lovely place to stop for a breather, sandwich or cake and a coffee in your travels. Dogs aren't allowed inside at this particular Starbucks, but our collie can absolutely recommend the puppocino as a takeout!

Really lovely staff, and friendly service. Staff are sometimes alone though seemingly so the toilets can be in a really poor state.

Useful A1 toilet stop but minimal facilities.

Was not greeted with a smile and the toilets was disgusting and wasn't asked if it was a take out order or drink in order even after sitting at a table. Just assumed it was take out order. Needs to be worked on as customer service was very poor.

Good service on our way up north

Drink was cold. I asked for a hotter one and it was still just as cold as the first. The staff were lovely but the drinks were the worst.

Not to my liking but other people seemed to love it and staff were friendly so made up for the lack of bitterness to the coffee

Wanted to sit in and drink my coffee in a mug but the man serving me refused as it wasn't convenient for them as it meant washing the cups so made me have the drink in a takeaway cup. Part of the coffee drinking experience is made better by the mug it is served in, being in a paper cup inside the shop isn't a pleasant one. Not impressed

Coffee was good. Quick service but the person that served us was definitely having a bad day. Service without a smile and we got a take-out cup when we sat in. The main eating/drinking area was nice and clean but the toilets need a good deep clean by a professional company. The grout near the floor looks hideous and the water marks on the black tiles add to the grimy look.

Poor service, one person serving and making coffees, stood at counter to order a drink for 10 minutes!

Never again.. Drive through on the board medium latte £4.10 by the time I drove round to the window price had gone up to £4.15...5 miles down the A1 tried my so called latte. Nothing more than warm milk was definitely not any coffee in it.... Never again.

Service was lovely but staff didn't make our drinks correctly - the difficulty with location is by the time you know there's an issue you're back on the road! Avoid any iced coffee drinks.

The girl who served us was amazing - she accommodated my autistic son's very specific coffee order which absolutely made his day - thank you so much 🥰

Disgusting pigsty Floors filthy Tables filthy Food left on tables 🤢🤮 toilets broken, floor coverd in urine, poo on seats, no toilet paper, no paper towels or soap! 😡🤬 Hand dryer broken!!! Looks like the place hasn't been cleaned for weeks 😒 Put me off my favourite coffee brand! AVOID THIS FILTHY PLACE!

My iced coffee is nowhere near as nice as McDonald's and the food is limited, otherwise a pleasant place to sit with good parking.

I was charged for a large and a medium was made, I queried this and the answer I received was very dismissive and barely helpful. They do not update their online choices in real time and service is slow because it appears they are understaffed. Female toilets were also out of order

This is my regular Starbucks and the team are always on point. It had become a very noisy place, but it all adds to the atmosphere. Some of the chairs are badly stained.

It's on the side of the busy A1 but they weren't busy it just takes so long to make a coffee ! Staff very friendly and plenty of seating - loos were not very nice though 😕

This used to be one of our regular haunts, but now has a new manager and no longer like the atmosphere. Drinks are not made the Starbucks way. If the manager is in, we don't visit.

Clean and efficient. Massive and I mean massive unavoidable pothole in exit lane needs sorting! Could do with more than one employee on at lunchtime? Just a thought!

Great coffee as expected for a Starbucks. Tabled area appeared clean and tidy, very quiet so instant service. Toilets however were disgusting, when informing staff of this, he stated 'i know' and continued sweeping the floor, very dismissive. I followed up to inform him there was also no toilet roll in the ladies, he did go and sort that at least.

Why are STARBUCKS Drive Thru's always out of Caramel Drizzel. The main town stores seem to do a much better job.

Did not like the unisex toilets. Son asked for a pepsi and was told they don't sell it because they are trying to encourage healthy eating. Perhaps they should stop selling cakes too. He ended up with a very expensive iced peach tea which was tasteless. I had a toasted panini which was like cardboard. Very expensive and inferior products. Service staff were friendly and helpful but would not stop there again. Didn't realize there is a MacDonalds further on in same area.

Good stop on northbound A1 with plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and clean toilets.

This is a hidden gem. Never too busy and far better than going to a service station on the motorway.

Visited on Sunday 17th July & Bought 4 iced frappe type drinks to take away. Service was quick and efficient and the staff member, who was working on her own, was friendly and relaxed 🙂

A nice clean air conditioned Starbucks on a lonely stretch of motorway without many other options. A bit inconvenient when traveling south but well worth it.

On the 9th June we went there. Staff was a bit mask face, no smiling no goodmorning. But what really made me so crossed was when the male cashier there scolded my sister for picking up a list of offers or whatever from the counter. He commanded her to put it back, he was so rude. I do not know if it has something to do with my sister wearing head scarf/hijab. But I spoke up and called him out.

Ok. Staff pleasant but cannot make a decent cup of tea.....never put the milk in with the teabag !!

Couldn't pay as no card only cash. A staff member said no worries and still sorted me out what service. Not sure if It was this one but great service.

Nice little Starbucks, decent cortado.. UPDATE This place has gone down hill First person through the door's today and the place was filthy, sticky tables crumbs and food on the floors from the day before.

Very nice and friendly cafe, i feel bad for the overworked staff, 1 staff member in the cafe at about 8am. it Don't seem fair. I noticed the same thing in multiple other Starbucks cafes. However they remained friendly and professional throughout my visit.

Very quiet, so plenty of time to choose accompanied by friendly chat. 10/10

Desperate for a pee and drink. Toilet was dirty and no matter how many times I try Starbucks, their coffee is awful and bitter. But it was very quiet there.

Very nice place, best flat white coffee I have had in ages.

The last 2 times I have been we have had the most lovely and helpful young man making our coffees. I didn’t catch his name but he had brown hair and was younger! Thank you 😊
