Cinco Lounge in South Kesteven

My wife and I really enjoy this Lounge. The food is very good and the service is brilliant. The atmosphere is vibrant especially when the street windows are open. The staff are very good with a special note for the lovely Lauisa. She makes the best strawberry milk shake ever. And, they are DOG FRIENDLY.

Our first visit just for cake and coffee - the ambience is nice and the coffee is ok, but there was no acknowledgement from staff, service was slow and definitely wasn’t “with a smile”, and the toasted tea cake was so toasted that it was hard and crisp throughout. Oh dear. Was it a case of being understaffed, although it wasn’t particularly busy at the time, or was it lack of training . . we’ll never know.

When first entering the restaurant we found several members of staff to be fairly unwelcoming towards us. Whilst i can understand the workers may be busy due the high capacity of customers seated in still believe the customer should be treated with a level of respect that i felt lacked in my visit. We were queuing for 20 minutes and when finally going to be seated the table was given to three women who was given a reservation despite being ahead of them and had waited for a longer time. This then caused my group to be separated which was quite unfortunate. No help was given to amend this and whilst trying to make an effort to be seated together by moving two tables the staff seemed to gather and point at us making rude and judgeful faces. However despite this i can say that we usually have a great experience in here with the staff being helpful. Maybe this was an off day but disapointing nontheless.

Me and my wife frequent Cinco Lounge, and since it opened it's always been a lovely place to eat and drink, 🙂

Had the cheese burger , very nice

Be wary if you’re Coeliac as the gluten free menu doesn’t highlight that a lot of the desserts are a ‘may contains’. I ate here and had a brownie thinking they were really clued up about this and felt safe. But a couple of days later I had some unpleasant symptoms. No one told me I had to read the ‘allergy matrix’ to check which dishes are safe. Most of the gf mains are safe though. Wish it was more obvious though.

A great place visually, certainly quirky. But the food was pretty sub average. Would certainly not recommend any breakfast that has 'bacon' in it as it's basically all fat and inedible.

Tasty food in a modern interior. Large bi folding doors open out onto the main road to create a European cafe feel. Online ordering was easy to use. Food & drink served promptly and at a reasonable price. Friendly staff.

Lovely, relaxing. Menu varied and catered for all tastes. Not rushed we spent 3 hours there. Staff pleasant. We had not been before but would revisit.

Very nice place to have dinner. The food was of adequate quality - they made a huge fuss of our dog (lovely touch). Not many eateries in Grantham open in the evening that are dog friendly so was nice to visit. Ordering at the bar was our only downside (trying to remember 5 starts and 5 mains) miraculously I didn't forget it and all orders were accurate, thank you Cinco. Just to note that I have read other reviews about this place being grim etc - I can assure everyone that we visited on a Sunday evening and the place was clean and inviting.

We had a fried chicken with noodles and a Buddha's bowl 🥣. The food was tasty and the service attentive.

The staff are fantastic. Really friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. Prices are really reasonable and lots of good deals on different nights. Very dog friendly. Decent spaces between tables and water and dog biscuits provided.

We had an enjoyable experience on Saturday evening with the ladies' cocktail beverages.

Service was spot on. Greeted at the door, checked on us to make sure everything was ok and so on. I had a "Lounge Bacon Cheeseburger" and my partner had a "Cowboy Smash Burger" and they were genuinely some of the nicest burgers we've ever had. The chips were those nice skin on ones and the onion rings we ordered weren't the cheap crap. Only let down for me with the food was the coleslaw because it was warm and not enough mayonnaise with it but I appreciate it's just my personal preference and it would in no way put me off ordering a burger again. The drinks menu is varied. I opted for a Mocha and it was good. Nothing amazing but certainly ok for the money. My partner got the "Strawberry and Yuzu Still Lemonade" and she enjoyed it. For the price point I think it was well worth the money and we would definitely come again. Just one thing worth noting is parking is a little tricky in the area and you might end up with a bit of a walk. Great work, keep it up guys 👍

Went for a birthday lunch with my daughter and grand daughter, staff we're lovely but food let it down slightly as was a bit greasy But will go again as there breakfast is 1st rate

I had a meal with a friend, the service was a tad slow and the restaurant was busy. The salad was good but a little expensive for my liking.

Popped in for a drink pre theatre. Love the place and atmosphere but am afraid that £ 22.50 for 3 glasses of wine was excessive to my mind. Às we had different wines each - buying a bottle to share as this would have been slightly cheaper was not an Option

A very nice place to go in Grantham. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, casual yet professional staff and very tasty food. Good place for lunch, nice coffee, business meeting or a family dinner. This place has it all.

First time here and everything was excellent. We had burger and beef brisket chilli, and can thoroughly recommend these and Cincos. Will definitely 100% be going back, and dogs are welcome which is an absolute bonus.

Haven't been here in last 2 weeks.

Utterly disappointing, me and my partner went to cinco lounge as previously we had a great experience and loved it, however this time we was both mortified by the place, First of all our cokes came tasted like filter water and were flat, Our tapas board to share came out, squid rings flavour wise were good but immensely chewing making them difficult to eat The spicy beef Quesadilla had next to not flavour other than the bitter taste of the sauce And the Sriracha and Honey Chicken wings were 80% salt and were straight up inedible, We ordered more drinks and same result with them, tasted filter water and flat We ordered dessert in hope they could redeem the main but unfortunately the carrot cake was flavourless and dry, and the churros were extremely undercooked, literally able to squeeze raw dough out of the centre and I truly believe they were only just cooked enough to keep their shape Over all service, wasn’t great, no one said a word or smiled and all the staff just seemed fed up of being there Extremely disappointed as previously we had an amazing experience

Had the brisket chilli -yum 😋 Had it again yesterday! Still just as yummy. Lounge was packed out. Managed to grab the last table. Staff were very efficient and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food using the app to order.

Just been to the bingo night. There were a few issues and false starts. But Emma dealt with it all in a very professional Manor. The staff were all amazing under the pressure. Well done to all. Can't wait for the next one.

Nice ordering system, good drinks, black coffee 3/8, matcha latte 7.88/10, kids corner and dogs allowed - fantastic, breakfast muffin was good, I can recommend that place. :) unfortunately half(that wasn't a vinegar effect. second half was ok) of the corn in Miami brunch was fizz/sparkling/not fresh and now I'm dying on the toilet, :P

Went for breakfast. Had a sausage sandwich and a coffee. Bread wasn't very fresh and sausage were barely cooked and cold. The coffee was good. Went at just after nine o'clock. Waitress didn't even ask me if every thing was OK.!!!!!

A place I like to go for a coffee with friends or glass of wine , service good atmosphere ok I like the fact is dog friendly although I don't own a dog , families with small children have play area but once experienced a young family with small children who were running all over the staff were brilliant at avoiding an accident ,the parents were very off hand at keeping children in check I left that day hoping no accident happened , a one off hopefully cinco still a friendly place to chill.

Delicious coffee and food in this busy but really pleasant cafe. Cafe is busy for a reason, well worth a visit. Not a quiet cafe if that is what you are looking for, but nice atmosphere and great food. Had the Full English which was very tasty and filling with options to add extras. The other breakfasts I saw all looked impressive. Definitely coming back if I am in the area again.

Stopped for a coffee. Its next to Costa - id recommend Cinco over Costa any time. Warm and characterful - lots of helpful and friendly staff. Food looks good too. We will be back!

Came in with my Nan, who tells me she comes regularly. The staff are very well trained and incredibly attentive, respectful and caring. Shout out to the cappuccino guy who looked after us today - he's making a real difference 🐧☕️

Came for my Birthday on 18th Jan. Initially, booking it was a bit of a hassle, but it's my go-to family favourite, and I needed the Mezze salad xxx We are actually visiting again this afternoon for my stepdaughter 25th Birthday. I really hope they have Mezze salad again it's delicious 😋 xxx

Lovely place, great customer service. Only thing was prices for hot drinks - very steep especially for actual size of the coffees we had. Had cappuccino and was mainly just frothed milk, the same as the flat white coffee we had-was over 50% frothed milk. Not enough coffee and the cups are much smaller than expected for the £3.60 price of the drink. Food is beautifully presented and very high quality ingredients. Would definitely recommend a visit

I had the best experience I’ve had from hospitality staff in a very long time. They couldn’t be more helpful. Incredibly polite and pleasant to talk to. Ria gets a special mention for being so sweet when we needed to exchange a meal.

Thank goodness I only ordered a drink here. The cup, saucer, milk jug and teapot were grim. I asked them for a clean cup and it still came back with lipstick stains over it. 🤢 My husbands coke came in a dirty glass with bits floating at the top. The little plastic paper advert thing on the table was covered in grot. The toilets had no paper and hadn't been checked for a while. Simply disgusting. Will not be returning.

I had lamb curry and the passionfruit semifreddo and loved it!! Lamb curry - yummy and huge portion! Thank goodness I didn’t get the flatbread. Semifreddo - not sure if I see any passion fruit?? Maybe its in the mixed berry sauce. Overall, really good experience and vibe! They even have a book swap corner at the back of the restaurant:) and kids playing section. Would come back - the rest of the menu looks good

Food is good, but shame they offer the cheapest ketchup.

We held a celebration here and could not fault the place. The food was really tasty and the service was fast and efficient. I really liked the way they accommodated for both children and dogs. My little one was able to play in the small toy area and our dog was given some treats and settled really well. You can help yourself to tap water free of charge so no need to buy bottled water. We had two courses and no complaints other than we wanted more!!! Thank you

Cinco Lounge is my favourite place to go in Grantham. I love their chicken avocado salad and the Cinco Lounge burger, mind you the burger is a big portion size! Good prices, excellent food and the staff is absolutely outstanding! ❤

Pleasant bar in the centre of Grantham. Friendly staff and good food at reasonable prices. I ordered a vegetarian burger and they were honest enough to tell me they had no vegan cheese left.

Went here the other Saturday. Staff member that took my order was VERY clued up about Coeliac / Gluten free. & knew about cross contamination, which reassured me. Food was delicious and I would go back if in the area.

Grantham's Cinco Lounge is amongst the best of the chain although they're all good. Service good, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good amount of space, natural light. I don't know what they do to the button mushrooms but damn, so good.

I had a Twisted Chicken Club Ciabatta and the wife had a Philly Cheese Ciabatta sandwiches, both were very enjoyable and tasty, swift arrival of the drinks and food, the staff are very polite and friendly always asking if everything is ok. On average the cost was £12.25 ahead, so good value for money. Also you can bring your dog in and they provide water and a treat for your four-legged best friend.

Steak and frites meal ordered. Steak so cold garlic butter didn't melt. Ordered medium Steak but was rare. Steak was tough. They did offer to redo but wasn't game to try.

I thought I’d give Cinco in Grantham another go, but much to my dismay it was even worse than last time. Food was luke warm and unappetising, service wasn’t the best either. Won’t go again.

I'm not sure if I like when food is thumped onto the table! I'm guessing the staff are few in number and under pressure, so I blame management, not the staff. Otherwise good food, good atmosphere, just a few minutes from the A1

I've been to a few different Cinco Lounges around the country and obviously they all follow the same formula. They do good burgers, salads and kids meals & it's not going to break the bank. Always a bit of a buzz about the place. Grantham is nice as they have two floors and the service was particularly good. So will definitely be back.

I love the one in Litchfield. Not to sure about Issac Newton and his connection with the town. His mother abbanded him on the farm after his father died and returned 20 years later with the priest. He did go of to Cambridge durring the Black Death. Maggie Thatcher, 'the milk snacther', over looks. Love the beer.

This place has gone downhill :( chocolate milkshake was warm and didn't taste of chocolate, breakfast muffin was dry, green tea served in dirty cup and saucer, sweet potato soup was coloured water that tasted nothing like sweet potato... staff were lovely and helpful, and service was quick but such a shame, this place used to be 'the place to go' but has certainly gone downhill. Thank you to the staff though!

A lovely restaurant with a varied menu. Food was very tasty and the service was excellent. One of the party had a good allergy and the restaurant was fantastic sorting out dishes for them. We will be back

Had the buttermilk chicken and it was not nice at all. Very dry and I have had buttermilk chicken many times in other restaurants and this is the only place that makes it more like a schnitzel and with a taste of curry amd very dry breadcrumb sort of covering. Nothing was mention about curry just a spice which there are many spices. Will not be visiting this place again as the meals are not cheap!!

Very disappointed as usually good. Waited and waited for a table but the four staf there were too busy chatting to notice paying customers. No wonder the place was almost empty.

I've been here for dinner a few times now. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are super cheery, friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious as always.
