Best place for a beer in Bakewell. No question and worth the short walk. Stylish and friendly, the Jaipur was a characterful beer and the pizza was very good too.

We came for Sunday Lunch. Food was good quality and cooked lovely. Great changes in the pub with the new ownership ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend

Never feel compelled to write reviews but large cob incredible value. Had BBQ chili beef and it was delicious. Absolute gem.

Visited for food on a lovely Sunday evening sat in the beer garden food was spot on as was the service can’t fault the place

Been going here for 30 years and it's never failed me once on food and service only down side it only opens Thursday to Saturday and closes at 8pm but it's still the best chippy for miles and we travel 7 mile

Don’t normally write reviews, but I feel like this needs one! 1st time trying and it was the best food I’ve ever tasted from a takeaway! Definitely going to be our regular.

Service was quick and efficient and food was ok. Seating was cramped, though, and it was very noisy. Toilet was awful.

The food here was fantastic. Some of the best Italian I have had in a while. Can highly recommend the Manzo Brandy which was steak cooked in a Devine brandy cream sauce. So good I asked for the recipe! Staff were attentive, and even though the restaurant was full you didn’t feel rushed and food came in good time. One not to be missed if you are in the area!

The Balti is an excellent restaurant. The staff are very smartly dressed, very welcoming, very polite and friendly. The staff are attentive. The menu is excellent. We ordered our food and it arrived promptly. It was delicious, very tasty and piping hot. I cannot fault it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This was a random- let's go for a pub lunch - it worked so well. The welcome was very warm and friendly. We had Chicken, a burger and fish and chips. Being a frequent visitor to Whitby and there fantastic fish and chips I'm always a bit cautious- but these were superb. In fact all main were great. So much so we followed up with desserts - again hitting every spot you could want - delicious and all polished off. Doggy friendly with treats for them too. An unexpected and delightful lunchtime.

Booked for a group of 15 - food was great - came out quickly! Nadeem and the team took good care of the group. Delicious range of curries and amazing selection of options available for all dietary requirements - highly recommend!

Great place ,walking distance from town centre. Rooms clean tidy but signs of age in places. Bed very comfortable aircon excellent and needed as rooms can get very warm no window to open. Very quiet and peaceful Breakfast standard not exceptional. Parking easy and safe. Staff very pleasant helpful and courteous. Would call again if in the area, but I'd rather go to town for breakfast.
