Wow !! Just had the most gorgeous Sunday roast. Everything was piping hot, tasty and perfectly cooked. It was the Sunday lunch I needed after a hen party the day before. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend you try here.

Perfect place for families. Staff very friendly. My kids really enjoyed painting their creations. It was good value too and kept my children busy on a rainy day. Would definitely recommend. The gift shop is beautiful too. 5 stars

It has a very good atmosphere, but Yorkshire puddings were burnt.It was very tasty, and filling.The service was quite slow.

We came to the Machine Inn on the 28th of March with friends for my husbands Birthday and the staff was very friendly and food was amazing. After our meal we stayed at the Machine Boutique Hotel across the road and all I can say is we will defiantly be coming back it was a fantastic night.

We called in here on our way back from thors cave, looking for a tasty treat because we were starving! We had a ham salad cob- very tasty. A steak and Stilton toastie again very tasty. We got one of the peak pasty’s to have for our tea later on. I can honestly say the nicest pasty we’ve ever tasted, we shared it because they are exceptionally large for one person. We also had a Mocha, a can of orange and 2 slices of cake. Oh and two star bars all for £23! Bargain and great value for money. And even more so because everything is as so tasty! Thank you lovely staff , we will be back.

The most incredible ice cream we have ever tried! The blackberry and apple and raspberry ripple….out of this world. Set in a working farm with a little play area.

Nive to sit outside and enjoy a cold drink , dint have food there was a stag do happening so it was loud and busy

Came for afternoon tea and it was splendid, the staff was very attentive, also thanks to the luvly receptionist who went out our way after missing the bus back to Bakewell offered to take us what a nice thing to do, we will definitely book again for afternoon tea, thanks everyone, from Sandra and Anthony Hopkins.

Lovely little tea room, only stopped for coffee and cake but the food was nice and in a nice setting

Lovely pub. Friendly Staff. Great Menu. Large garden to rear with plenty of umbrellas for shade - accessed via steps. All in all; a great find and we will return!

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful area. Luxury accommodation and helpful friendly service. Great area for walking a biking.

There are lots of cafes in Ashbourne: some have a great menu, some have great service, some have great food and drinks, some have great prices. Only Tunnel Cafe has all these. I have been here a few times and in all honesty each visit is better than the last. Whole hearted 100% recommend

generous portion of fish and chips for a fair price considering the location and friendly and fast service. and a good spot to sit and watch life go by on the main street. Found parking on the street in front but not always guaranteed.
