Bellini Pizzeria in Derbyshire Dales

Just tried this family run pizza shop for first time. Best pizza weve had in a long time. Lovely soft base with loads of fresh toppings. We had a 10 inch pepperoni and a 10 inch hot vegetarian with chips. We went here because of the good reviews and it didnt disappoint. Its also nice to support a business where the owners are actually working there and are passionate about what they are doing.

Bellini pizzeria have just supplied the children at our school with pizza for their school disco. 80 pieces! All absolutely delicious. The children loved it and there was not a crumb left. The Bellini staff were so friendly and helpful when I needed a quote, and when we ordered yesterday. The pizzas were delivered hot and to the minute we asked them too. Thank you so much!

Cracking place for pizza or kebab takeaway

Recently moved to an area which Bellini Pizzeria delivers to. We enjoyed the Tandori Chicken and Romano Pizzas as part of a special deal. We ordered a thin crust and a thick crust and they were both really nice. The whole family could taste the difference in the Pizzas compared to other local places we've tried including Dominos etc. This is now firmly our favourite place for Pizza in the area. We look forward to ordering again! Thanks

Absolutely great! Visiting in an air b and b locally after a day at Gulliver’s Kingdom and had to feed my 2 hangry sons and quickly! Checked locally for pizza places and this place came up! Great Service, Large food order with some off menu items requested, cooked promptly food still hot after 10 minute drive home. We also received a complimentary cheesy garlic bread, which was nice.

Italian Name , Italian Owner , Advertising as a Pizzeria, you would expect the Pizza to be Perfect, Unfortunately not and nothing like the Pizza's they advertise. No different from any other conveyer belt Pizza. Precooked base's (Not Fresh Dough), Poor quality toppings especially on the meaty Pizza. I gave them a chance but unfortunately I was very disappointed. :-(

Excellent pizza had a large with pepperoni and a veggie small. Loads of food for 3 of us.

Hands down the best takeaway food I've had for a long time. Just visiting the area and chosen because of good reviews. Ordered and collected in shop, friendly staff and reasonable price. However didn't get an item we ordered, phoned up when back at hotel, staff were apologetic and promised to bring it to us straight away. Within 5 mins it was at the door still hot. Amazing service. Amazing food. Highly recommended

I ordered 3 pizzas and a special garlic bread. The food was ready on time, was lovely and hot and tasted really good. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

Love the thin and crispy pizza Base, (tick the box in the "extras" list), no extra charge. Love the pizza base sauce, tastes more authentic than others. Love the small kebabs which are actually quite big. Online ordering is easy. Always has been delivered hot.

EDIT (after owners response): No, it's NOT a fake account. Your food is absolutely DREADFUL. Besides that - we had to wait like morons in your shop for at least 15 minutes to someone notice us and ask what we want. I understand you can be busy, but at least say that!

Brilliant website - ordering is easy and time for collection or delivery is precise. Good tasty and perfectly cooked.

We have ordered many times in the past and up until the last couple of orders both service and food have been good. However, more recently things haven't been as expected. Food has started to arrive almost cold or not tasting as fresh, and tonight, when we had waited well over the estimated time and called to ask how long it might be, were greeted with a rude man who snapped down the phone that they were very busy and the app did not give a precise time! Then when it finally did arrive about 2 hours after placing the order it was tasteless. So £30 went in the bin, literally. I would never order from Bellini again, i understand its stressful when busy, but to be so rude down the phone is unacceptable. So much for a relaxing evening and a treat! Never again!

Always had great food from here

We booked a takeaway when staying overnight in Matlock and looked at reviews in advance and this place looked great. We weren't disappointed as the service was great, food was amazing and excellent value for money.

Strangest kebab ever! Came in a box with the pita on top. I thought kebabs were a wrap with foil around it so you can eat on the go. No signs of a covid-safe environment apart from only 1 customer at a time. No staff wearing PPE.

When every shop that I have been to would encourage contactless card payment, this is the ONLY shop at the Covid times that INSISTED on only cash payment. I tried to order some food of £15 in total, and asked if they take Card, which the staff replied no and only STRICTLY cash. He was not friendly and didn't offer to tell me where I could withdraw cash. His body language felt like he was not interested to do business, nor was I interested to part with my money to a shop with such appalling service.

Ordered a pizza with mayonnaise dip. The pizza looked great but it was far too salty. Then I thought it must be the mayonnaise that’s too salty. Anyway everything just tasted like salt afterwards. Pizza arrived very quickly and the delivery guy was very courteous. I think I would give them another try. Please get rid of that mayonnaise.

Every time we order they get 1 thing wrong, the garlic bread was cremated, (asked on the not to not burn it please) donner meat was chewy looked dry like it had be sat for 12hrs Absolutely foul rang to ask for a swap meal or refund to order elsewhere and the manager was so rude... Pizza was ok but won’t be going back again. Rude staff

This is our go to pizza place locally we love it here. Good food, never ever had an issue with mine always been hot despite been delivered to Wirksworth. Pizzas are not greasey like other local Matlock ones which to me makes a huge difference. Also pizzas are great if you like a 'pan' base. They do nice kebabs here aswell the chicken tikka kebab is one of the best I have had. Service good always have a smile everytime I answer the door. Always deliver on time or earlier in most cases aswell. Will continue to come here for our takeaways. Prices are fair aswell and their offers on the website are really good value.

Quick delivery and super tasty food

Ordered two lamb donner kebabs and found out later he had actually charged me for two chicken kebabs which where almost two pounds more expensive, EACH! Even though he stuck the recite to the bag saying that they where chicken he still gave us the cheaper donner kebabs. I find it almost impossible that this could be anything other than deliberately dishonest. In all, it wasn't worth it seeings that the quality of the food was very poor, so I shall not be going back there.

Just been and service and food is excellent. Please give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

I am not a great Pizza Lover, but the Pizza here was fantastic. Ham & Mushroom for me. Good amount of topping, and the Deep Pan base, just melted in your mouth. All cooked in front of you. Good polite service

This place is the absolute don! The pizzas are first rate for Matlock and by far the leaders in the area. My only area for improvement would be their delivery bags; they’re not the latest and greatest like dominos, and as such, the pizzas aren’t quite as steaming hot as you’d like them to be, causing the cheese to set slightly. However, in spite of this I still rate them 5 stars because the pizzas taste so damn good! Their bases must be made fresh that day because frozen and premade rubbish just doesn’t taste like this!!

Staying at darwin country park had pizzas delivered one night amazing best pizza bases ive ever had lovely and soft the toppings were beautiful .Enjoyed so much we ordered again 2 nights later but this time kebabs and burgers once again great food large portions Best food weve had delivered when ever we stop at darwin .Fantastic service superb food

fancied a pizza at lunch time so nipped down to bellinis. The staff were very nice and the pizza was ready on time. i tried the double Donna, Cheese and onion. There was very little donna and what bit there was seemed to be overe powered by strong red onion and cheese that had a burned taste to it. Very disappointing.

Used berlinis quite a few times and they have always been very good, but tonights chicken kebabs were awful, they were dripping in watery juices and the chicken was undercooked. The salad was all soggy (what bit there was) and the chips were rubbery. Certainly put us off.

Most weekends we have a takeaway delivered. Never have to wait long. Always seems freshly done and a good size.

We got two calzones and chips to take away, so yummy!!! The veggie one was jammed full of veg, absolutely lovely and hubby was very pleased with his doner kebab filled calzone! Would definitely recommend.

This has become our favourite pizza shop in matlock, we would not order from anywhere else for a pizza or kabab. The pizza always taste delicious well cooked never burnt and the kababs are a nice treat too. Give it a whirl you won't be dissapointed and you can order online.

Weve had 2 delivered takeaways now and both have been tasty, hot and delivered quick.we ordered a 14" meat and chilli pizza it was delicious, and the chicken kebabs are gorgeous, the salad and mayo (garlic) is so fresh and varied .We ordered 2 chicken kebabs last night and a greek salad, once again it was excellant.Thank you very much and we will continue to use your buissness jim and lisa hardy

I have just finished the fourth meal from Bellini Matlock so thought it was time for a review. Orders one and two were for pizza, order three was for a large chicken kebab with sweet chilli sauce and tonight I had the half pounder chicken burger with chips. the first three were orders by phone and were all delivered in a very reasonable time. About 20 minutes. I went down in person this evening and the meal took just 10 minutes which was pretty good considering it was busy. The food was all well cooked and tasty for a reasonable price. I will definatly continue to use this takeaway.

Nuestra primera entrega de Bellini y esperábamos perfecta pizzas italianas. La margarita estaba muy seca y nada cerca de una pizza de Nápoles como lo anuncian. Una pizza que faltaba de la orden y llegó 10 minutos después tras una llamada a ellos. Las patatas fritas eran geniales, pero en general fue una experiencia decepcionante y volver al uso de conexión preferido para llevar pizza como nuestra.

Only had a kebab and chips, wasn't at all bad but not the best I've had. Plenty of it for the price though. Wife had pizza and said it was lovely

Had a chicken kebab chips and Greek salad and was really impressed! The portion sizes are very good and it was really tasty plus it was delivered in 30 minutes when it should have 50 so very impressed.

Estábamos visitando la zona y decidimos coger comida para llevar para llevar a nuestra habitación de hotel. Nos decidimos por Bellini, ya que parecía más en la zona. Pedimos 2 pizzas y una porción de patatas fritas cursi. Nos recoge el pedido y lo llevó de vuelta a nuestro hotel (aproximadamente 15 - 20 minutos). Cuando llegó la hora de comer nuestra comida, encontramos una de las pizzas un topping en que orden pero no nos las cobraron, y era un pedazo de pollo frito en mi chips de queso. Debido a dieta no puedo comer pollo y me siento como si ésta planteaba un riesgo para mi salud y precauciones correctas, no fueron seguidas en la cocina. No nos molestamos en volver al llevar a quejarme ya que no valía la pena el viaje en coche.

La segunda vez que he utilizado de Bellini, y la comida no me decepcionó aparte de ellos se olvidaron de la sal y el vinagre en las patatas fritas y las patatas fritas eran bastante seca, como si hubieran sido recalentados. Pizzas eran preciosas y el pan de ajo con queso, fue uno de los mejores que he probado de un establecimiento de comida para llevar.

The business is run by someone other than the original owner and has since become the worst pizza I've ever had. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent food and reasonable prices. Yes you have to wait, but that is because they cooked our food fresh. We tried a range of sides and burgers and it was all delicious.

We have ordered from here a couple of times & enjoyed it a lot more than the usual pizza places. The only problem was the time it took to arrive...well over an hour both times.

Literally the best pizza I've had anywhere in the world. Service is spot on but the food is perfect, not as greasy as the main stream pizza's or the local food joints,. Highly recommended.
