Love this place. It’s my go to for a local pizza. A medium sized pizza and a can of coke costs less than £10, so I think the price is good. You can watch them make it if you wish and if you request collection, it takes about 15-20mins. The pizzas are really nice and mostly consistent, even when they aren’t, they are still nice. It’s a takeaway style pizza.

Amazing pizza, especially after having completed a night hike over Mam Tor raising money for mountain rescue. We really needed feeding up again and so we popped in for pizza which was delicious, quickly prepared with some banter with the staff. Just what we needed after a long evening and will definitely be coming back.

Still our favourite Pizza parlour … Fully loaded and packed with flavour; this Pizza & Kebab House delivers, in every respect! Highly recommended!

Stopped by here a week ago after a very long drive, the 2 gentlemen in the shop were so lovely. Even my 9 year old son said once we left how kind and fun they were! Food was absolutely 10/10, thank you guys! 😊

Charged £19 for a 10inch cheese garlic bread, a double cheeseburger, a portion of chips (asked for large and what we got was not large) and a small pot of garlic sauce. I am sure this would cost you just over £10 not long ago. Maybe there is a different price for regulars, who knows?

Excellent pizzas, the best in the area, this team works hard, they’re always busy but serving times are very reasonable.

Family Pizzas are very deeply filled and covered in cheese, however many you think you need, take one off! Or have it the next day for breakfast!

Love a Benny's! Made sure I popped down when in Ashbourne. Lovely to see Madge! It's been open over 35 years, can't be bad! I usually opt for southern fried chicken chips, salad and pink sauce!

Don’t normally write reviews but this deserves one, came up from Scotland for a couple days and got a couple of pizzas for dinner and they are hands down the best I’ve tried in a long time. That chicken tikka pizza was unbelievable definitely be back if I’m up this way again

The food was good but he forgot my salad for my kebab! Considering my order was close to £100 total, you can appreciate my frustration, especially as I travelled 20 odd mins from Matlock.

Looked dodgy but do not let that deceive you. The chicken kebab was very nice fresh and cooked perfectly. Fries were also nice, usually in similar places the fries are fried in very old oil and taste bitter, not those, so I was very impressed. Well done guys!

Been enjoying bennys kebabs for 25 yrs been tonight 2 kebabs one chips£24 6 pieces chicken . Dried up … feel ripped off at amount of food and or e will not be returning out money goes to panda in Ashbourne from now on!!

We came in as a large group of 11 starving for food and they not only managed our order without any confusion or mistakes but also prepared the food quickly and accommodated for special requests. Excellent service and food, had mixed kebab,chips and pepperoni pizza Kebab was a good size chicken, lamb & Donna meat with salad and sauce of your choice. Pepperoni pizza was really good the sauce was lovely and tasty with plenty of cheese.

Very friendly and helpful on the phone whilst ordering. Food arrived quicker than the 45 mins quoted and was so good. We ordered lamb doner, mixed doner and lamb shish kebab. All was piping hot and really tasty. Top marks for Benny's.

I've been coming here for about 25 years, back when 'Benny' ran the place almost single handedly. food is good and tasty, and has stayed consistent over the years. pizza very cheesy, and most times base is nice and crispy. a firm favourite with the locals, so I'd advise calling up to ask how busy they are and/or order in advance. chicken and chips is always pretty good value (ask about the prawn sauce!).

In my opinion the best pizza's for miles around. Just visited for the first time since COVID, still excellent service and the pizza is still amazing.

I ordered my food and wanted everything separate as l don't like it mixed together the gentleman who made my order did as l asked and had really nice way with him.

I asked for chicken kebab and the man said they didn't do chicken kebabs so I looked at the menu and pointed put that he did sell it..I left my workmate in there and I went to the chippy next door..to come back to my mate to find he had a chicken kebab cooked for him..very strange. Maybe can't speak fluent English or understand my Leicester accent. Either way was hard work so I just left I went in 2 weeks later and gave it another chance I had donna meat and chips was really nice and hot from chilli sauce..

Never tasted a better pizza and the chips we didn't go to the chip shop they tasted better at benneys thank you hope we can return one day

Wish I could rate higher as our family have been using them years. They usually sprinkle some herbs on top of the pizza right before it goes in the oven. Sadly on our last 3 orders, some of them herb bits have been rock hard. The pizzas we ordered last week actually cracked my daughter's tooth that they were that hard. Maj and the rest of them are a great bunch of guys and really friendly so it pains me to leave this review. It never used to be like this, I can only assume they've received a bad batch or something but sadly I won't be buying from here again. Maj, hopefully you read this review and look into the issue!

Bennys this is probably the best takeaway in Derbyshire definitely in Ashbourne always top quality food cooked to perfection every time the staff are always friendly and they all work extremely hard day in day out so go on you lucky people of Derbyshire especially in Ashbourne get down to Bennys for a fantastic meal i certainly will again and again even at very busy times like shovetide football they are always up to the challenge well done lads keep up the good work

What little I had wad nice. I was missing a side side salad. The amount of meat I had compared to other places. I am a local that don't wish to be charged tourist prices.

We stopped over here after a day's worth of hiking in the Peaks. The pizza was excellent. Oozing with cheese with a deep base. The donner came with plenty of meat and the chips were a great complement. We ate in the nearby park so it was a perfect dining experience for us given the warm, summer weather.

I'm holidaying in the area, so I decided to look on Google for a good takeaway. Benny's has a good feedback, so I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. I gave the order by phone and went to collect it, it was ready when I was advised. On entering the shop I was greated warmly by a very friendly person behind the counter. I was asked if I had been before and I explained that I was on holiday and I was asked where I was from. I explained that Benny's has a good review score on Google so I came to give Benny's a try. I was thanked for being a customer. The food was excellent, everyone in my party agreed. The shop looked exceptionaly clean which is always a good sign. Would I go back, yes without doubt, maybe even later this week.!

They don’t get the orders right

Payed over 60 quid for our meal...and I would say 85%went in the bin. The Donna meat was disgusting and real greasy garlic bread and pizza was rank aswel. Would not go there again

Benny Benny Benny what an excellent burger you produce, I felt like a cowboy coming into town from the wilds and falling upon my first meal in days. Delicious and delivered with love. Cheers I will be back next time I am in the wilds of the Peak District.

Very welcoming and remembers me every time even after a few years. I was thanked for my loyalty today (26/07/2020). To be honest it's because the food is great and I am willing to travel the 26 miles one way just for the pizza, best place in Derbyshire that I have ever been too.

Great place to have a bite, It was super busy.. cheesy chips kind of went not up there but overall it was great food, great people great service. Would recommend it and will get it again from Benny's good combo of food choices variety pizza, quick service also from.the team.

Stayed in a lodge up the road got takeaways from bennys was very nice . And the owner was very very friendly and was very polite .

We visit Ashbourne a couple of times a year and when we are here we always go to Bennys for Pizza. We have even been known to drive there just to get pizza at the weekend.The Pizza's are amazing, toppings are generous and the bases are crispy. Or favorites are the vegetarian and the Tandoori Special.It can get busy, we always ring through our order and its always ready for us.
