Fabulous beers in a terrific environment. Don’t be put off walking from Bakewell. Short 15 minute walk. Huge interior but warm and comfortable and a great vibe even on a Thursday afternoon in November.

I love Thornbridge beer. A great modern spacious tap house.Woodfired pizzas made to order.Good selection of beers on tap and a good.well-stocked shop with knowledgeable staff. Top class

Enjoyed the pizza, loved the beer but couldn’t wait to leave due to the awful din made by the band. So loud we had to shout at each other to be heard. Totally spoilt the occasion.

Great selection of beers to choose from and also of wines and spirits. The pizzas are very tasty and work a treat with a few drinks! I would recommend booking a table ahead though as it can get very busy quickly.

We had the brewery experience today with Liam who was brilliant with a wonderful enthusiasm. It’s not easy delivering a presentation and bringing your own personality and he did just that. The beer selection was fab, all of the staff were welcoming and the pizza was excellent. We are already planning another trip this week before we leave Bakewell. Thank you Thornbridge, hugely recommend!

Came here in summer had a brilliant time so came back today to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Great atmosphere, great food, great service, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

We were recommend this tap room by a landlord of a pub we visited yesterday. What a great find. We visited Monday lunchtime, so it was quiet. The selection of drinks are brilliant. The pizza is delicious. They are children and dog friendly. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again

Nice atmosphere and pint. Only lager is helles which is not out favourite but still enjoyed a cider and a chill with the dogs. Definitely recommend a visit.

Fabulous place but you need to book a table well in advance. It was very chaotic on arrival. When we finally found a member of staff to advise them of our arrival, the table we had booked was taken and the people on there refused to move as they had been moved several times. We were shown to another table that was fortunately free and in a better position. There was a long queue for the bar which eased the later on it got. Be prepared for a bit of a wait for pizzas but well worth it as they are very tasty. Beer obviously fab!! It was a fabulous evening celebrating my partner’s birthday nonetheless and will definitely return. More live music would compliment the night?

What a fantastic place. Beer and pizza. What more could you ask for. Went over Easter so it was very busy but staff were able to fi d us a seat. Great pizzas and huge choice of beers as you would exoect from a brewery. It would be easy to inflate the prices as its so popular. Cheapest bar in Bakewell Keep up the good work

Just called in, staff very helpful, great range of beers on draft, including low alcohol, good if you were driving like myself. They do food as well, especially pizza.

Went for the “Experience” ie brewery tour. Not so much a tour but a very interesting and enjoyable hour or so, learning about the brewery and brewing techniques. Liam was a great host and made the event chilled, relaxed and amusing. Had booked a table after the event and had a pizza which was great. Wish I lived closer to this paradise.

Booked a brewers experience for an 18th birthday celebration and not disappointed. Bar staff were very helpful and giving advice and recommendations. Yes the place was PACKED but the queue at the bar moved quickly. Pizza was delicious and left with a couple of recommended beers from the takeaway, including a 10 % off. Birthday boy said it was great. Thanks very much to Lewis. Can’t wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the outdoor seating area.

Not a bad venue for a first time visit, but slightly miffed when their award winning beer Jaipur is £4:90 per pint when I can get the same beer in my local 30 mile away for £4:10p. ( and no NOT Wetherspoons ) What is that all about . ??

Myself and a friend did the Thornbridge Experience. It was great and really value for money. Liam who lead it was absolutely brilliant, so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You get the history, key ingredients, brewing process explained and then six thirds of different beers to sample each having a different taste. And a glass too! It's made me really think about which beers to try in the future. Rounded off with delicious handmade pizzas. Thank you for a super afternoon.

The pizzas and beer were excellent but the queuing ruined the experience. They need more than 2 tills on the bar, it’s just ridiculous and puts us off returning. Such a shame as the drinks and food they are serving are so good.

Don't get me wrong I love this venue but yesterday was not a good experiance! Drink food and staff as always were great but someone decided it was a good idea to keep the main roller doors open a few feet and it was bloody freezing! So if you are going for a cosy meet maybe check first if its an al fresco experiance day. We had our pizza and beers and went to find a warmer venue.

Absolutely fantastic experience, been a few times now but decided to try the Thornbridge experience this time, really enjoyed it, we were looked after and entertained by the informative and funny Liam, had loads of different beers, learnt so much about the brewery (our favourite), got two free glasses, 10% off at the shop and had the best pizzas we’ve ever tasted, 100% recommend….

Liam was our host and was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We had 7 people on our tour which involved a detailed historical talk about the brewery and its background and growth as well as 6 x ⅓ pints of various beers which we learnt about and tasted. 100% recommended for anyone really, beer lovers or not... just for the learning experience and beer tasting as well as the understanding and appreciation for the entire brewing process. Proud that this company is on our doorstep.

We visited for food at about 5pm. Not too busy. Both the pizza and the beers were superb. Definitely go again.

Really great place with a lovely atmosphere!! Lots of different beers to choose from and can even have 3 little beers as samples!!🍻🍻🍻🍻. We also had their pizza's 🍕🍕🍕🍕 as well which were lovely!! Really enjoyed our visit and will go back.
