The best restaurants in Charnwood East Midlands

They charged me twice on my credit card. Tried to look online to report this and link not working. I have paid double will never use them again or any of my family. I will report this to my credit card card company at the weekend.

Been here a few times and always seem to regret it when the bill comes out. Working farm is a good atmosphere, nice food, OK staff, eye-wateringly expensive prices to the point you're better off going somewhere - ANYWHERE - else. Decided now won't be going back.

We always like the pub but we were disappointed with the food. We had a Veg curry which was only warm and a small portion....

Me and my partner travel from Nottingham every now and then for a cinema date night and always eat around the local area. We have ate from this Nando's once, I would rate the experience that ONE time as a 8/10. However every time since the one time we was actually able to be seated and served (which has been several times now) whenever we have attempted to eat at this Nando's there has been a 20-30 minute wait time. Which I understand its busy ext. The main reason why we have WALKED out each time after waiting for a lengthy amount of time is because there will be numerous tables free and no one will be seated, there will be multiple people waiting and the waiters and waitresses will be attending to other matters rather then seating customers. I asked today if they could begin sitting people as the waiting area is tiny and it was packed, PLUS they decided to tell people 15 minutes in there was going to be a extra 30 minutes wait on food once seated and all I got from the waited was “we’ll sort it”… 10 minutes later still no one else had been seated yet. Me and my partner walked out and promised to never go to this Nandos again. After countless attempts of eating here, we have been met with the same POOR service. I would NOT recommend this Nandos.

Overpriced, though I like spicy food, the takeaway chicken dish was hotter than an Indian Vindaloo ! I was disappointed that the chicken was boned. The menu looked good but too expensive, I was restricted in choice as they don,t accept cards. Their sitting clientele appear to be young Chinese, possibly students. If so they must be very wealthy students. I won,t return. Sadly their predecessors of 25 years ago were great and there used to be a good " chippy " next door. Highfield Street has gone downhill.

Has gone down hill. Ordered food very late. The food was terribly bland. Shame that's the place isn't what it used to be now.

Food arrived 50 minutes later (21:10) than the given estimated delivery time (20:20.) No apology, no compensation, no explanation. Terrible.

Shocking..... Maybe the worst ever sausage sandwich ever. I think they had put the bread in the microwave, steaming hot and all soggy, cheap sausage..... With a coffee, £9.70 As a regular cafe go'er, for £9.70 I would be expecting a top notch sandwich but this was on the bottom of the list.... Never again !!!

The order was late, then they forgot half of order, so we had to wait even longer. Then when the food arrived it was absolutely disgusting. Greasy and tasteless. I will never order again.

Really disappointed with our meal as it seemed to have good reviews however the food was bland, there just wasn’t any flavour. No egg in the egg fried rice, the curry was just a thick tasteless gloop and again no flavours at all in the chow mein. Take -out for 2 £39.00!! Get a new chef.
