Nando's in Charnwood

Me and my partner travel from Nottingham every now and then for a cinema date night and always eat around the local area. We have ate from this Nando's once, I would rate the experience that ONE time as a 8/10. However every time since the one time we was actually able to be seated and served (which has been several times now) whenever we have attempted to eat at this Nando's there has been a 20-30 minute wait time. Which I understand its busy ext. The main reason why we have WALKED out each time after waiting for a lengthy amount of time is because there will be numerous tables free and no one will be seated, there will be multiple people waiting and the waiters and waitresses will be attending to other matters rather then seating customers. I asked today if they could begin sitting people as the waiting area is tiny and it was packed, PLUS they decided to tell people 15 minutes in there was going to be a extra 30 minutes wait on food once seated and all I got from the waited was “we’ll sort it”… 10 minutes later still no one else had been seated yet. Me and my partner walked out and promised to never go to this Nandos again. After countless attempts of eating here, we have been met with the same POOR service. I would NOT recommend this Nandos.

Delivery They messed up our delivery up and took it to the wrong place. Said they called but they didn’t. Dropped it at some other place and we had to call mcuh later after some time ourselves. Never even got our food. Severely disappointed-don’t think il be using this Nandos again

Fabulous help & service from Deb one of the workers, we mentioned we were going to the cinema & made sure our meal gave us enough time to get to the cinema, and helped sort my NHS discount via my email account, thank you for being so kind, pleasant & helpful

the employees name was Richard and his customer service was impeccable, offering if i wanted a refill on my drink and very friendly in engaging in very polite and friendly conversations with me. very good person and employee am definitely going again after that encounter.

I ordered online and went to pick up. The menu states that the butterfly chicken is 2 breasts, however I discovered they only gave me one. Also, I pre paid for a bottle of sauce, but when I went to pick up, they gave me sachets - She mentioned this, but didn't realise until getting home that really this was a rip off. Food was pretty good, but a bit annoyed by these 2 things.

Pretty certain they forgot to marinate my chicken as had zero flavour... Rice good not too spicy. Take away ready very quickly.

I came here the other day with my family for a quick bite to eat on a Sunday evening. We were seated immediately and the staff were considerate of our needs. The food was delicious and this review would have been a five star but unfortunately the restaurant had ran out of the peri-peri salt. This was extremely disappointing as one of the reasons we chose to come to Nando’s was because of their fantastic seasoning. However, I greatly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and we probably would come again.

Manager here is absolutely excellent, goes the extra mile to be accommodating. He's the friendliest & most professional hospitality manager I've ever met. Been a few times this year and every time we've had an issue he's fixed it no issue / with a smile etc. Seems like a genuinely decent chap! I don't leave reviews much at all, but just wanted to document this service because he's a rare breed & they're lucky to have him!

Came here for lunch, seated straight away. Friendly and helpful staff who updated the QR code ordering system to add the vegetables on there after enquiring if they had ran out as unable to order - keeping ordering contactless and covid friendly. Food was good, only issue which wasn't with this restaurant in particular but nandos as a whole - £1.50 for the gravy and get the tiniest jug! More gravy please.

Excellent service and great food. Special thanks to Chris who looked us and steered us around ordering off the app. Will definitely be back and it was great to be free again !

Visited late afternoon on a Saturday. Joined the virtual queue for a table and only had to wait around 20 mins, service was quick and food was delicious, restaurant was clean and nice atmosphere.

Ordered for collection, asked to wait as they'd forgotten the peas, assumed everything was in there as the bag was heavy and they were fetching forgotten item... Got home and burger was missing. Rang and the supervisor offered us either a refund for the burger meal (£12ish), and e-voucher for £15 or we can come and collect the burger and they will also redo the sides for that meal and add in some apology brownies. Decided to go and collect as my parter wasn't going to eat his nandos and have me go without. This then meant that his went cold and dry while making an extra journey to go back and collect the burger. The burger had then most likely been left under the hot lights to stay warm as the top of the burger bun was rock solid and inedible. While I appreciate the manager offered alternative ways to apologise, the situation is an inconvenience and it's lucky neither of us had to work that night as we would have ran out of time to eat. Completely understand these things happen and it is a shame, but the apology doesn't take in to consideration an extra half an hour journey, petrol, time, the fact the other meal went cold and general dismay when opening the bag finding something missing.

Visited Friday night for family meal usually love this nandos !. Plus points social distancing very good all the procedures put into place felt very safe easy to order on the app :). Food arrived daughter and partners chicken stone cold informed waitress said she would swap it but asked us to remove the sides which was odd as usually like to eat the meal all together. Replaced meals but then had to wait another 10 mins again for the sides to then be brought back . No one came to ask if everything was ok also when finished no one came over to take plates avoiding taking them whilst we were still there when we walked out staff said bye but all laughed and sniggered not impressed . I understand things are difficult and different at the current time and things take longer but this was just not acceptable! Shame .

Another lovely Saturday night takeaway. Wasn’t kept waiting too long for our food. Only reason it didn’t get 5*s is that they had ran out of Diet Coke cans after I’d ordered one, but that’s just me being picky! Food was great and the team were as lovely as last time!

First time at the Loughborough site, COVID rules apply which is good, order and pay online, food came quick good friendly staff 9/10 in all good atmosphere, will visit again.

Having visit numerous nandos in different places, though I try my local one, excellence service, food was amazing esp the sweet potato wrap love the free refills you get with cokr zero etc, only negative was ice machine was broken on my visit, will be back soon

Fancied a change so tried here after Xmas lights switch on. Although there were 10 of us we were seated straight away. Food was ordered and served promptly and to a good standard. Very friendly and polite staff 😁would recommend and will return

It was a busy night. There was no cutleries available but the waiter was happy to collect some for us. My son and husband had waited for quite awhile for their side order. There was a male staff in a green t-shirt who immediately collected it for them. He even offered us free desserts. Overall, they were accommodating and very helpful. The staff are prepared to rectify any issues. I will definitely recommend the restaurant.

Best Nando's! You don't feel crammed in like some of the others. Portion sizes are good and well. It's Nando's! What more can you expect!? Worth getting a booth table in the middle if you're a group of 2-4people. Best seats in the house!

Went for a family lunch. Everything was explained about ordering. Food came out within about 10-15 minutes which was fine, as we were chatting. Not too loud so we could hear each other. Food was tasty, hot and filling. Will definitely go there again.

First visit tonight with my husband who is coeliac awarded full marks as manager was aware of cross contamination issues not only was allergen book checked for every item, glasses were checked before coming to the table, everything was closely checked and monitored oh yeah for forgot to mention the flavours were fabulous

Visited with my sister. She had a bad first experience but really loved her visit this month. The chicken was great, service good, atmosphere lovely.

Today was my first visit ever to Nando's, the person asked if we had been before, so he explained the menu etc. I thought the idea of ordering at the bar was great, added more relaxing experience in my opinion. I ordered the 3 chicken wings and two sides of chips, and had a coke, free refills are fabulous idea. The chicken wings however, there's probably more meat on a Vegan's plate.

This has happened for the forth time now. Call up for a take away and they say it will take 20mins, get there 20mins later and have to wait another 20mins. Absolutely Ridiculous, avoid avoid avoid!!!

Our granddaughter chose it for her birthday meal. O dear. Never been in before but the decor is brown and drab and the staff uniforms are similar. The “manager” wore a red golf shirt that looked like it needed laundering and wouldn’t have been out of place on a “pay and play” course in the backwoods of North Carolina. And who thought that ordering from the counter was a good idea? Whatever they saved in staff was lost as we’d have had at least one additional drinks order if there was table service. The food was poor. Chicken not bad (but then that’s most of what they do), corn on the cob a grey embarrassment then flabby chips. Most salt cellars either empty or the salt damp and immovable. As we sat there (5.30-7pm) people were being turned away. As we left all the chairs were stacked on the tables and the lights went out. Closed for health reasons? Staff didn’t turn up? Opening hours should have been till 10pm. Awful. Fortunately our grandchildren didn’t notice. But we did. Have been to nearby Pizza Express before and will go there again. This was an almost total disaster. I hope they’ve closed for good and a better franchise takes the space.

Nice food and quick service but wasnt happy that our 3 starters had only just arrived then our mains just got dumped on the table as well! We came out for a nice meal but ended up rushing so the food didnt go cold! Put a real dampner on our afternoon to be honest.

Went today with my family - ordered 5 meals. Waited. Waited. Waited and continued to wait. Eventually we were informed that something had gone wrong in the kitchen and it would be about another 15-20 minute wait. 40 minutes later with 3 very hungry children and two adults we asked our server where our food might be?! Apparently because it was Thursday and early afternoon (we arrived at 1.30pm) they had decided to put new staff on with not many experienced staff to make sure the restaurant ran smoothly. This was supposed to be a nice family lunch out and turned into a right royal pain in the a**. No refund was offered (even a partial one) although they did offer some food - but that was what we were waiting for anyway!!!!!!! Terrible, terrible experience.

Normally this is a really busy Nando's so you expect to wait but on the particular day I went we were able to secure a large table very easily. Everything was as you would expect at a standard Nando's. The food came in a reasonable time and the salad I ordered was really nice.

For who never been in Nando’s, we don’t know how is suppose to order the food.The staff just take us for a random table and that’s it ... nothing else ... waiting , and waiting once again , until I had approached the staff, and the waitress explained how it work..The food is not too cheap for have this kind of treatment ..The food was good but just that ... Next time , just say/ask to your customers: “Welcome to Nando’s, is your first time?”. If the answers is “NO”, the staff just need to say to follow to their table ... but if the answer is “YES”, you must to explain how it work!Good luck

Had a wrap ally chicken was in one half orlther than 1 small bit the garlic bread was okay. For the price would of thought you would have gotta a better quality of food. I wouldn't go back but hey that's just me. staff where friendly and the place was clean had highchairs and service was good.

You know what to expect with the food in Nando's - we all like it very much! But I particularly liked this actual restaurant space - light and airy with a really spacious feel and great decor. Staff were friendly and the service was really quick!

Never had an issues at this Nandos. Service is good, the place is clean and the food is great! Can't go wrong

I’ve just got to let the management know your waitress Mindi is amazing a real credit to your company very friendly very helpful and very hard working nothing is too much trouble even if she’s busy she has time to greet customers with a lovely smile no wonder you are always busy this young lady will go far. And the food is lovely too

I know most people only go to eat at Nando’s but sometimes a handy coffee stop too! Can really recommend the Portuguese custard tarts, lovely pastry and creamy custard. Only comment would be a cup of tea at £2.20 is a bit on the dear side for half a cup of hot water with a teabag in.. especially as I drink it black so by the time it came was way too strong. I’m sure you can find a better way of serving tea!!

It was very busy but were seated quite quickly very young staff but very nice and helpful. The meal came very quickly after ordering it very tasty as always.

Went in for a quick lunch. We were shown a table immediately. You need to order you food and pay at the bar giving you table number and pick up drinks from the dispensers. The chicken meal we had was very tasty served with two side dishes. If you need more hot sauces they will bring them to your table.

I used to love a good Nando’s. You can’t really go wrong. This branch is quite nice inside. They were majorly understaffed and this effected service. Mine was quite cold on arrival and the chicken sizes were tiny! what happened Nando’s....

On this occasion I came here it was rather busy. Myself and my partner came in ordered and were told we may have to wait a little while for our food. I have to say waiting over an hour to be severed was quite excessive although the staff were really nice and very apologetic and could not have been nicer. They made us feel welcome very good customer service. All the staff were nice well turned out I would return

Been a few times now and although it’s ok I just don’t get the attraction of Nando’s. To me it’s just expensive chicken and chips. Service was ok but it’s pretty much self serve, and food was alright but nothing more.

Went to nandos with some of my family for late lunch. Looked nice and clean staff were helpful and curtious. The food was very tasty and came quickly certainly would go again.

I went out with my family to celebrate my birthday. When we got there they delayed our pre-booked table by 20 minutes. The food was very good. However as soon as we had finished our food, they had started to clear the table. One waitress tried to clean the table with cleaning fluid when we were still sat down!I will go back but definitely when they are less busy.

Ordered a takeaway, when I got home half of my order was missing, contacted the manager who refused to repay me for the items not provided. Very poor experience.

Have to say we were well looked after - Ollie (our host) became very enthusiastic when we told him this was our first experience of Nando's. He didn't need to read the menu to us as we have all had a basic education but his explanation of when and where to pay and also where to get our cutlery from etc. were very helpful. The food was very good quality and delivered promptly to our table. Other staff were also attentive and contributed to a positive experience. Tables were clean (sorry, didn't use the toilets).

This was my 2nd trip to Nando's in Loughborough and it didn't disappoint!Arrived at around 7pm and it was fairly busy but we were seated quickly and on ordering we were told it was 20min cooking time which is to be expected!Food came out and everything was cooked spot on and tasted delicious as always£17 worth of food which I thought was well worth it...will definitely return @fitwit2016

This Nandos is as dependable as all the rest I have visited. However, the portion sizes here are larger (!) than many others. Service was also very prompt and we enjoyed a great family meal here. Toilets were clean and the whole restaurant was well kept. Staff are very friendly.

As a last minute dinner choice the wife & I went to Nando's.I've never really been keen thinking that it is a glorified fast food restaurant.However, this one was clean, friendly staff & quick to serve.Whilst the food was relatively basic, it was hot & plentiful.Good food for the money

It's pretty much the same as any other Nando's except that it seems to have a larger proportion of students. My only problem with this is they seemed to be using it as a meeting place. While we were eating there was a group making a lot of noise. They had obviously eaten at some point but had finished when we arrived and were still there when we left. Food was standard Nando's - at least you know what you will get.

Walked in at 9:10 well before the advertised 10:00 closing time to be told that because they weren't busy they were only cooking burgers and wings.when we asked to see the manager the young girl went to fetch him or her and we stood waiting.after 5 minutes we walked out.we went across the paved area to a great steak house which was no busyer but had a full menu on and was great.

Not really a huge fan of Nando's but my girlfriend likes it which means I have to pretend to like it.When we walked inside the restaurant the staff just stared blankly at us. Not so much as a smile from any of them. Then they turned away and went back to pretending we didn't exist. Once seated, all we could hear was the staff gossiping loudly about their weekend, how smashed they all were, what drugs they had taken, swearing loudly, and being very inappropriate. There were young children also within earshot of their vulgar conversation.We were made aware that some salad ingredients were out of stock, which was fine, but I prefer lettuce in my pitta instead of the standard Pittamix and wanted to see what was available. As she passed, I asked the young, black girl (I don't remember her name but she was the loudest of all the staff) if they had any Iceberg or Gem Lettuce in stock and she said she would find out. Five minutes later, with still no answer, I turn around to see her waving her arms around, messing about, and shouting and laughing across the restaurant with the other staff.When we went up to the till to order I spoke to Dani (the rudest of all the staff). As I placed my order I asked if I could replace the Pittamix with Lettuce and I was met with an incredibly rude look of derision. She sniggered at me before she snapped "I dunno what ya mean." I explained my request again and once again I was met with another look of derision. This went back and forth a couple more times with me having to break down the exact process of how it would be done to help her understand as I "wasn't making any sense." She made me feel completely stupid and embarrassed and I walked away from the till feeling like I had done something wrong. Then, as we were sitting down, I overheard her discussing me and my girlfriend with her colleagues.I then went up to get a drink from the station where the floor was sticky, the sides were dirty, and nothing looked very organised or neat. Obviously, all the staff were too busy goofing around to wipe the sides and grab a mop. Also, a lot of the tables were left dirty. They had cleared the plates but clearly hadn't wiped the table down after.The food came out in good time however, there was cheese in my pitta, which Dani was well aware I didn't want because when she took my order earlier, she asked me, I said no, and she replied "Are yoouu suurrreeee?" in an incredibly sarcastic and condescending tone with a rude smirk to accompany it. Again, I confirmed that I didn't want any. As ridiculous as it may sound, I felt like the mistake in my order was deliberate to try and annoy/upset me further. Whilst I'm sure this probably isn't the case, I think it says a lot about the attitude of the staff that this seems like something they would do.The food was pretty standard, as always. Nothing I couldn't cook myself at home. Which defeats the whole point of going to a restaurant to eat really. One of the main reasons I'm not a huge fan of Nando's.We ate our meal and left as quickly as we could. I would have spoken to a manager before leaving but after looking at my receipt and seeing that Dani's till login had printed as 'Manager' I felt uncomfortable speaking with her as I felt I wouldn't have been listened to or taken seriously and I was certain, given her attitude, that she would have turned my complaint into and argument.Our only positive experience was with the lad who served our food. I think his name was Oliver or Adam. I didn't get a proper look at his name badge. He was very polite and helpful, he was quick to amend the mistake with my food and was very apologetic about it, and he was the only member of staff I saw that was actually doing some work and not stood goofing around behind the till like the rest of the staff. His customer service skills were excellent and I only hope he doesn't get drawn in to the rude and inappropriate behaviours his colleagues endorse.I'm absolutely not against people having fun at work but the behaviour of the staff that day was completely unprofessional. They were the loudest people in the restaurant. They seemed to make everyone uncomfortable with their behaviour. They were very dismissive of their customers. But most importantly, they were some of the rudest people I've ever spoken to and, judging from other reviews, I don't appear to be the first to have noticed this...DO NOT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT!

Nothing special fast food establishment. You would be better off going to a proper Indian Restaurant in the town

Asked to make a booking for a group of 14. They couldn't accommodate us at all. Most unwelcome staff. Got impression they didn't want the work. The book for bookings was left open whilst staff asked a manager about our query - it showed only two bookings - curious.

Went for a family dinner. Plenty to choose from quick service and food delivered quick. Nando's is Nando's. Staff friendly,love it here and kids favourite

We have visited this nandos many times and have always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately this time it wasn't a great start to the meal as when the 3 meals arrived they were all only Luke warm due to sitting on the pass far too long. There didn't seem enough staff around as I saw the chef shouting for someone to take the food and there were no staff around, I'm guessing our meals must of sat there 5 mins or more before a very miserable looking girl brought them over. We all said that our meals weren't hot so we shouted over a lovely waiter by the name of Andy who took our meals and dealt with everything brilliantly, he was very apologetic. We thought we would just get our main meals heated up but everything was replaced, meaning we then ended up having our sides replaced too. On finishing our meals Andy asked if there was anything he could get us, we said we were too full so he insisted we took home some free puddings. It hasn't put us off going as the meals were as usual very tasty and Andy was brilliant.

Difficult to review a place when you can even get book in because you are a youth group, that's ok though we spent nearly £300 some where else

I have recently visited the Loughborough Nando's. I found that the food was fresh and tasty compared to other Nando's which i have visited around the country. The service was very quick our food came within 10 minutes. Will definitely visit here again!

Very busy Saturday evening with lots waiting for tables - luckily we have booked in advanced and seated by the window. The staff were all very nice. I personally ordered the mediterranean salad WITH CHICKEN (I'm at nando's?!) which was lush! The food came out really quick too. I then had the vanilla gelato - bit underwhelmed by the children's ice-cream pot I was given but actually it is really nice ice-cream - creamy and rich. Would come back.

Nando's has a great vib to it, as I've been there a number of time, it never gets old. It's s a great place to have a meal with your partner or with a group of friends

We nipped into nandos after an appointment. As we was hungry and still need to do a food shop. The party consisted of myself, my partner and my 11 month old son. On arrival we was greeted by a staff member who ask us a table for how many? She then asked if we wanted a highchair and preceded to get us one.Ordering at the counter was a slight wait but thats understandable. It was a little confusing about fetching our own cutlery as unless i had ordered a refill it yourself drink i wouldnt have known that the cultery and sauces were self service as well. Food arrived in good time. We Ordered the boneless platter for two and a childs chicken dish with sweet potaoe mash. Unfortunately, even though the rest of the platter was lovely the chicken was far to hot (spicy) we had ordered herb and lemon and it was burning my mouth out. A staff member came over and we explain she apologise and said sometimes the hot coating is stuck in the brush. She quickly brought out a replacement no problem with new sides. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and no problem to much. A great example were even though they was a problem, good customer service still made the experience enjoyable

Eaten here several times since it opened. Always delivers good food and service in a great surroundings.

I visited Nando's sometime last month with four of my friends. Luckily there was no wait as it was during the week and we were seated very quickly. The food came quickly and mine was tasty as per usual with Nando's food, but was a bit dry. One of my friends 1/4 chicken however was awful. It looked completely charred and burnt. He didn't want to complain so I spoke up for him and the staff were very good to quickly bring him a new piece of chicken. Upon observation his chicken looked amazing (there was a lot of sauce) however it was obvious when he cut into it, that it was exactly the same as the last ... dry with no moisture whatsoever. When going to Nando's you do not expect to pay £7-9 for a burnt dry piece of chicken (especially when you are a student). And to have received a dry piece two times is just not ok.

We rang to book a table, only to be told that we can't pre-book and just have to go in and wait, which we did and it was about 15 minutes which wasn't too bad. We were then taken to our table which was a bit uncomfortable as the space between the table and the seat meant you couldn't sit back in the seat and more leaning forward, we also sat at the table expecting table service and until we eventually found somebody to ask how we order, got told to order at the pay point. The food was enjoyable and filling, I especially liked the PERI salted chips but the mega crusty Portuguese bun that came with my chicken burger fillets broke so I ended up finishing the burger on its own. The soft drinks are reasonable as they are refillable and the environment and decor was vibrant and nicely designed.Overall, the visit was good, the food was good even if you are paying more because of the brand name

I have got to say the best place nearby for chicken, and I get chicken everywhere I go.The only downside with Nandos for me is no table service (order at the bar) and I like table service. However, the staff were very friendly and provided good customer service.Activities for kids also, which keeps them entertained, so Family friendly, another point for Nandos!Will definitely go back to Nandos in Loughborough (soon).

Went with a few friends. Staff were brilliant and very accommodating. A great addition to Loughborough - just what was needed in the town. However I think your extra hot sauce isn't as hot as the second hottest and overall the portion sizes were a bit small for the price.

2nd visit this month at this Nando's and both times the food has come out at a speedy time and with no issues. At some Nando's, the chicken can be dry or over cooked, however, both times the chicken has been nice here which is good. The only thing that lets down this Nando's is the service.. the customer service is abit shabby, the staff appear too laid back and not really bothered. A smile goes a long way, let's say that. Also, when the waiter collected our plates, I could see something was going to go wrong - stacking too many plates on top of each other; they then toppled and knocked a drink over my dads lap! The waiter said sorry but it didn't really feel like he meant it - I'm not being dramatic haha. If I was waiting tables and accidentally spilled something on someone's lap, I would have at LEAST tried to pretend to look more apologetic.

It was very busy but were seated quite quickly very young staff but very nice and helpful. The meal came very quickly after ordering it very tasty as always.

Loughborough being a largely student town I was concerned about how busy this establishment could be and the mix of people we might encounter.The staff were pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere surprisingly good. There were a number of "lively" characters dining but nothing to disturb us.Food was typical of other Nando's I have eaten at, perhaps that's the secret to success standardised service and food across the brand.

Went to Nando's with my girlfriend whilst on a visit to Loughborough. Staff were friendly. Food was fresh and very tasty. Refillable drinks and loads of different piri piri sauces! Meal cost £13 with a drink and was brill. Can always rely on trusty Nando's.

I enjoyed this place. Didn't expect us to go up to order and pay, make our drinks and lay own table but it's no big deal. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good children's menu. I had chicken breast pitta with chips and coleslaw. The pitta filled with salad and chicken, medium peri, was delicious. Coleslaw nice but chips were, for me, a little greasy. Refillable drink, Coke Zero, my preference, so really pleased. Restaurant, nicely decorated and brand new. Fast service. No one said goodbye to us when we left, which was disappointing. Will definitely return.

Our first visit to this Nando's and with it being quite small we thought it might be too crowded but on the day after Boxing Day at about 2pm it was not bad. We were greeted within seconds of walking in and taken to a table which needed cleaning and the girl said she'd do it. She then got caught up with others coming in so i asked someone else to do it, which she did straight away and was very apologetic. Same as any Nando's so obviously we weren't expecting a different menu but you're never sure about the cooking from branch to branch. Our food was cooked really well although i thought i got more fries at Leicester a few days before. The place is small but we didn't feel any more crowded than at bigger ones. The atmosphere was good which i think was helped partly by it being new and partly because the staff made you feel they were happy to see you. The area round the drinks machine was kept clean and i saw someone cleaning round there a couple of times. Didn't visit the loos but assume they'd be as clean as the rest of it. Nando's isn't the cheapest place for lunch as it cost about £30 for two of us but you can see the menu at the door so it's up to you. Personally i can get a better meal for a lot less but everyone knows Nando's and as it goes this is a good one.

We visited here and were not disappointed! The service was very fast even though the restaurant was almost full, we ordered starters and by the time we'd sat down with our drinks, they were already with us; brill. Food was delicious and can't fault the service.

The staff in this particular Nando's are always so friendly and chatty! The service is always so fast and friendly! I have never had a problem with my food during my visits. I love the decor and layout of the restaurant, always has a great vibe. The only thing about Nando's which is aimed at the brand and not this restaurant is that I wish there was more to choose from on the menu. Otherwise Nando's is great to go out with friends, dates, or even on your own.

Best things to order are their chicken, vegan food and the sideorders! Very well seasoned and you may add more spices yourself.

We went when it was quite busy on a Friday night. Unfortunately this meant it was very noisy and we couldn't speak to each other very well. The food took some time to arrive but was very good when it did. The staff were friendly and helpful. A bit on the expensive side for just the two of though so not sure if we will be visiting again.

Thirteen of us visited the new Nando's in Loughborough on Saturday night for a birthday/engagement bash. The booking seemed to have worked well and the staff knew who we were and where we were to be when we came in. We were all seated in one group.The restaurant was crowded and towards the end of our evening we could plainly see a dozen or so people waiting in the foyer to be seated.The orders were taken quickly at the counter. I did make a few errors and had to go back to rectify them. This was done efficiently and without fuss, well done. The food was good, clean and tasty. We all enjoyed it. Nando's is not cheap but the package is worthwhile.We found all the staff we dealt with to be pleasant and helpful.We shall return sometime.

We visited the new complex in Loughborough with high expectations as nandos is one of our favourite places to eat, and it was just as impressive as we had hoped, the interior was very similar to the other chains so was nice and clean and well set out, the staff were friendly and helpful and made our first visit enjoyable and gave us a chance to truly relax and enjoy ourselves. Food was prepaired quickly and was good quality. :) will be back soon!

Went to see what all the fuss is about nandos always gets brought up when talking with friends about restaurants but was very disappointed. Firstly felt crammed in could not hear each other as was very noisy. Food was average but serivce was poor will not be visiting again. Was overpriced would rather go else where.

Spent a nice evening with friends. There was quite a queue when we arrived and had to wait thirty minutes before being seated. Only other thing that wasn't great was lack of sweet potato wedges, but other than that, evening was excellent.

Unfortunately, a lot of the food isn't suitable for certain types of people, for example: people who eat halal food, people who are vegetarians, etc. Also, the customer service isn't very good because the workers always seem in a negative mood as they seem very grumpy and never seem to smile. The tables are often dirty from previous customers as the staff don't seem to know how to clear or clean a table. It's very disappointing as it is such a big franchise which is getting a bad reputation due to the actions of some workers.I would not recommend this restaurant, however I would recommend the restaurant Fernandez, which is just around the corner because the restaurant is always clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and there are many different options for all types of food eaters.

Nandos is a very popular food chain in the UK. It is what it is and it does it very well. Chicken, chicken and more chicken. This can be alone, in a bun or in a wrap... Serious choice of Nandos sauces to smother your food ranging from mild to seriously hot. Great salads, always super fresh, and list of sides for you to choose to compliment your chicken. Always friendly staff, and always consistently good. Well done Nandos for being the best, in my opinion, in offering a chain that delivers every time.

I have been to this nannies once before and the service was not great. We sat for ages waiting on food, yet we could see it sat there on the pass. We thought we would give it another go but unfortunately the same thing happened again. This time the food came out stone cold. We could see our food on the pass and the amount of staff that just walked past it. The waitress was excellent and replaced the cold food. There is certainly room for improvement here.

Food was great as always but unfortunately the staff ruined the experience. There were three that treated it as a hangout rather than a job, it made is uncomfortable when they were circling the tables chatting and laughing louder than any customer. Nothing wrong with chatting but when you're the nosiest people in a quiet restaurant it's quite uncomfortable. The other staff members were lovely, it's a shame these three really dragged the atmosphere down. There was definitely work to be done as the toilets weren't clean (the cubical I went in anyway, I didn't check them all) and the table next to us had dirty plates left there. As far as food and timings go you cannot go wrong with nandos, it was great. Unfortunately due to the atmosphere this was the worse nandos i have been to.

A group out for a catch up we thought we would try the very new Nando's. You would not have guessed it had only been open a week with both the service and the food being at least as good as any other Nando's we have visited. Staff were faultless throughout.

Considering it is new service and food were at the normal Nando's standard. We were seated quickly and once we had decided I ordered at the bar. Staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly all present and correct. This is the 3rd restaurant we have tried in the Baxter Gate complex and doesn't seem to have suffered the same start up problems of the others. It was very busy on a midweek night with both eat in and takeaway's.

I know that nando's may have a limited menu but they could teach some other restaurants a thing or about starting up. They have only been open a few weeks but already are up to speed in terms of the service and quality. We went on a Tuesday evening and it was about 75% full and also doing a lot of takeaways but there were no delays in the food. The staff were friendly and seemed to know their jobs. It may not be everyones cup of tea but Nando's does what it says on the tin and will attract people to Loughborough town centre.
