The best restaurants in Charnwood East Midlands

What a rubbish review. There is nothing wrong with that branch of Waitrose. It's excellent and stocks all the essentials. Also very kind & helpful staff. That review must have been written by someone from the competition.

Previous negative reviews from 5 years ago need to be ignored. I pop in here now and then, when working in the area....welcomed with a smile, very chatty staff, and the food is banging! Will be back 💪

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Staff friendly and efficient. Meals were tasty and of good proportion. Ample parking.

Decent atmosphere and friendly service but, and it’s a big but, my Belly Pork was probably the toughest, most disagreeable piece of meat I have ever been served in any restaurant anywhere in the world. I won’t be returning.

Great food nice friendly atmosphere very helpful staff.

The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. A service with a smile even when they are rushed off their feet. The products are as with all Costas, decent coffee and food ideal for a catch up with friends, a business meeting or a quite cuppa on your own.

Had the lunch time deal pizza and side and was given a full portion instead of the half that was a nice surprise when I went to pick up the gentleman behind the desk was nice and polite

Nice bar, good food, friendly staff, BUT DO NOT USE THE TOILETS 🤢. They were absolutely disgusting! I should of known when walking up the stairs to them! I don’t think they had been cleaned for weeks!cobwebs everywhere, no toilet paper, toilets hadn’t and wouldn’t flush! No lock on the doors!! Terrible.. and the smell!! 🤢🤢.

Collection area a bit grim, but food was very good.

Coffee is excellent, but service is very poor, they just need more staff. It's all well and good ordering then paying, but having to wait over half an hour plus for order is bad.

The vibe here is immaculate. Dim lighting, great music, and the cocktails? Unmatched. Great food, service was quick, friendly, and the bartenders really know their craft.

I just popped in here for a pint after a long walk. Very good barman, excellent ham cob for only £2.50! The regulars were really friendly and helpful too.

Was the first place I found that sold kebabs. On the good side: it was cheap, the staff were friendly, and the portion size was good. Otherwise, it was just a slightly rubbish kebab with no part of it really doing what it was supposed to. In fairness, the place has "pizza" in the name rather than "kebab". The pizzas could be quite nice for all I know.

All staff are so friendly managers are always more than happy to help. Play area nice and clean, feel it could be a little bigger though. Thank you for a lovely lunch
