Great meal, lovely staff. This is such a gem of a place, great atmosphere. Tuesdays are very popular due to the quiz, which is great fun.

The pub had a “ repair shop evening”, customers had tv’s, radios, vacuums repaired. Knife’s sharpened and so on. There was also a 30% off discount code night and a specials board. There was a lamb shank on the specials with mash, veg and minted gravy. Such a great tasting meal

Always have a great meal here. Tonight's was no different! Staff friendly and attentive. Can definitely recommend eating here.

Had the lasagne not much flavour wife had roast chicken dinner chicken dry took it home for the dog Yorkie burnt mash funny taste veg generally poor will not be going again.

The gluten free sausage was chewy taste less and the mashed potato was gloopy.

Recently visited this lively pub again with some family for a meal, the food was amazing and the staff were so efficient and polite. Prices are so reasonable and would definitely recommend 😍

Ordered onion barjis fir starter ended up with stuffing balls they didnt realise, when I told the waitress she just said yes they got mixed up, brought the right starter oit when everyone gad finished there's. main was flatbread with beef and lamb meat just tasted of oil so could not eat. Was very very disappointed with this no discount for there inconvenience. Unfortunately will not be going back for food.

I love this pub, me and my husband used to go all the time. Staff are lovely, foods great, it's just a bit hit n miss on the steaks being cooked to my liking. Everything else is spot on

Just got a parking ticket after having a meal there because we were not told that we needed to give our registration number to them. It was dark when we went so we did not see newly installed parking notice. Landlady very rude and unsympathetic when we complained that we were not told. We will never go again!!

Went here for food with my friend looks like a nice place. Helpful and friendly staff the only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the steak itself it was inconsistency cooked. Some parts of it was cooked more than others. Everything else was lovely. The leak and potato soup was nice, the dark chocolate and mint was nice. Would I come here again? I would say yes.

The food was lovely, nice bit of gammon, but disappointed that the mixed grill was unavailable. All the staff were polite and helpful. Would definitely visit again next chance I get.

Well, won't be returning here in a hurry 😳!!! Have been to this pub on quite a nuber of occasions, without issue. However, arrived today c10 miles in, of a 15 mile hike, for a drink & snack. After waiting nearly 15 minutes to be served, was then told apologetically they couldn't provide food, as they had a large party booking in. Apparently I was then advised I should have booked 😳😳, wtf, it was just me, on a Tuesday lunchtime & only wanted a pint & sandwich (how long & difficult is it to put a piece of ham between to slices of bread 🙈!!!) To add insult to injury, just as I was finishing my pint, I was then told they could now accommodate my food order (I don't think so 🤬🤬)!!!

Wonderful food and service everytime.

I mainly go to this pub for drinks and the quiz, not food, though plenty of people do. Staff are really friendly, good service, good range of drinks. The pub layout is very nice and the garden is great in the summer. The weekly quiz is great as well, I've done quite a few in Leicester and this is by far one of the better ones.

Very friendly Staff , food was top notch will go again one day. Not like The Badgers Set, asked for a Portion of Chips before going to Park View Stables got 9 in a small Cup and 1 of them I dropped on the floor. Never again.

We visited this evening as a family of 10 for a meal. Had a lovely evening, compliments to the Chef as all our meals were fantastic, came out all together. Had great service from waiter Alex and Batman Matt. Really recommend a visit to this pub

Went out for a meal with family, the food is delicious (especially the burgers) . Staff there are so lovely and welcoming. One of the nicest pubs I’ve been too!

Unfortunately this was the worst sunday dinner weve ever had, the beef was grey, the roasts are sloppy, the whole meal was either reheated or microwaved, the mash was literally a tablespoons worth on each plate, when we asked for more mash for the children, they charged us £2.75 for a portoin of mash x 2, which was then a dessert bowl full each,Why it wasnt put on as the meal portoin originally is questionable. Yes we did tell the waitress, who just apologised with no offer. Unfortunately wouldnt use again or recommend

Unfortunately the food was Unrateable, the chicken my wife had was so overcooked it couldn't be eaten. The doner kebab meat was not fresh in fact it looked DAYS old. However the wine went down well.

Don’t have the steak! It is dryer than an old leather boot! Not cooked correctly, chips were decent but the steak ruined it. At least the drinks were nice.

Pub decor is an eyesore, the colours don't match, it felt like one of those Kitchen Nightmares places. We were seated promptly after asking for a table, we did not reserve a table on this occasion, and drinks arrived soon after. It was at this point we ordered food, starters and mains. After an approximate 40 minute wait in a quiet restaurant, our starters arrived, the mushrooms watery, but the Mac and cheese was delicious in all fairness. After our starters we ordered one more round of drinks, again, arriving promptly. Our mains then arrived soon after, a little longer wait than expected but nothing too extensive. My steak was overly fatty, I personally don't mind that too much but someone else wouldn't have touched it, my wife enjoyed her salad but left most of it because she was put off by her starter. I would maybe return for a drink but not for food.

Friendly staff, great choice of drinks. Fair prices. Nice interior and good beer garden. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend

Booked for a Sunday lunch as advertised but no Sunday lunch was available ..only food off the normal menu 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Otherwise lunch in the week when we went was good.

This was the third time we had visited for lunch on a Saturday .The service is good and the food is lovely. I have to give special mention to the fish and chips, I cannot remember having a better one any where. Perfect crispy batter , nice juicy fish and chips that I could go on about all day…I should try a different dish but when it’s this good it is difficult….

Went for a large family meal, was asked to do pre order, which was a brilliant idea, everything was served hot and on time, amazing food, compliments to the Chef! Service was fantastic from both bar staff and waiting staff, always a lovely atmosphere here .. highly recommend it.

Didn't have the meal I went for, mixed grill, so disappointed to start with. Not many customers and poor atmosphere. Left feeling underwhelmed, particularly as on a previous visit, we were all quite satisfied.

We went for a big family reunion. We were made to feel very welcome by Katlin and her team. Food was served hot to all guests , which was very impressive considering the numbers involved. Only slight issue were the steaks which were a little over cooked. Good play area out the back for the children. All in all a very good impression was made. Thank you

Went on a Thursday evening (Steak Night) we all enjoyed the meal which was as good a steak as you could expect to get. Definitely be returning, maybe curry night next time.

Friendly welcome. Pub felt warm and nice decor on arrival. A good 1st impression. We booked a large table of 10 at short notice and they were happy to accommodate us. Food was enjoyed by us all. Not 1 complaint on our table. It was great value too. We brought a birthday cake with us and the lovely staff were happy to bring that out with candles lit which was much appreciated.

Not allowing walk ins apparently due to the heat. I work in hospitality and appreciate the weather, staff shortages, labour costs etc however wasn’t expecting to be turned away when quite.

Came on a sunny Tuesday evening, arrived and told that they aren’t doing food for Walkins despite only a handful of people in, too hot apparently. Wanted an ice cream, couldn’t even manage that. I’ll stick to the badgers sett.

Had a fantastic cowboy burger not a fan of burgers very rarely have one but this was probably the best one ever had the lady cleaning up after meal I side preferred chips in stead of French Frys told just ask and will get chips here's to next time a great all round place

Awful will never use this pub again. I’m a type 2 diabetic and a vegetarian. I have to be careful what I eat. I asked to alter something on the menu which was really easy and they weren’t busy - I was told point blank I couldn’t alter anything on the menu! All I wanted was a cheese baguette lol! Instead I had to order veggie chilli. I have spent the last two hours on the toilet. The portion was also tiny for £8.95! One member of staff was rude. Please note their response to my review isn’t correct. They did have cheddar cheese because it was being served on other items on the menu. I also never said the portion I received was good. Furthermore I’m spending a second day ill after my visit.

What a lovely Sunday out we have had. Myself and hubby took the kids out for a nice treat in the countryside and we are so glad we chose The Bradgate Arms. The welcome was wonderful, the service was excellent and the food was super delicious. We opted for a cheese burger meal, 2 x Turkey roasts and a children's chicken burger meal and all was pleasantly presented and tasted scrumptious. The environment was clean, friendly and calm and we (myself especially) loved the fact that people were bringing their dogs along too! We shall be bringing our little pooch next time!! The wheelchair access was great too for those seeing that option. The menu has a lovely selection including options for those who are needing a meal thats for someone who has/is a vegetarian/vegan/allergies/restrictions. They have a lovely play area outside and ample parking including disabled spots too. Cannot recommend highly enough. Its a little treasure of a place. Came for Sunday roast and it was lovely

We arrived after walking our dog Friday lunch time, we sat outside as nice day. Hubby went in for drinks and menu 1pm, when he went back in to order was told would have to wait 20min before we could order any food, after 20 mins went back in told we still could not order our food. Went back out side as hubby was told they would come out and let us know. By 2pm, 50 mins from when we tried to order , decided not to wait any longer, if we had been informed of this earlier would not have waited.

Had a few nice meals here including Christmas dinner. We've also popped in just for drinks. Good drinks, pleasant staff, Nice pub!

I’ve been for a few meals here now and Steph and the team are always great! The prices are good and the food is delicious. Tables are clean and the staff always helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone for a drink and meal!

Ordered 2 large roasts. One with beef and one with turkey. Our meals came out and the beef was lamb. We received the correct meal in the end however we were missing Yorkshire puddings, mash and stuffing and had to ask twice to make the mistakes right. We still never received the stuffing. Overall I’m very disappointed as it seemed like a lovely place to come to unwind after a long dog walk. After all the mistakes and time wasting we was not offered a partial refund, and was not checked back up on to see if everything was okay.

We came in as a group of friends. Place was nice but found one of the staff members to be quite rude. Online menu is different to when you get there. Options are limited for lunch. Our food came and most of the ingredients were missing, we mentioned this to the food runner who pretty much didn't care at all and just walked off shrugging her shoulders. Luckily the guy at the bar was a lot more hospitable.

Christmas day dinner 2023 £59.99 should not have been anywhere near that price, service was not what we expected at all... The email below was sent and had no reply... Good Morning, Christmas Day a party of people came for dinner at Bradgate Arms and would like to say a few things. When arrived and sat down for dinner they're were only one set of knives and forks, none for starters, no spoons for dessert we had to ask for them and then were just put left on the end of the table without being given to customers sat at the table, no serving spoons for extras that were ordered and being shared and some vegetables and stuffing were missing from plates. One starter was wrong but wasn't offered anything else, was just told nothing left as they had already been made up. The extras paid for were brought to the table way before the main meal and put on the table before starter plates and soup dishes were removed. Most of the food was nice, but service wasn't at all good, a little upsetting for Christmas day meal that was expected for the price. I know you were busy, but things I have mentioned should never have happened.

Wonderful staff and service, accommodated a party of 10+ including dog, baby and children with no advance booking. Food was prepared quickly to a high standard.

Very nice venue, warm with a nice atmosphere. Food & service was good & value for money. I would recommend you try it.
