Perfect Wok in Charnwood

Best tofu 😋 🤤 and big portions!

Visited Perfect Wok on Friday 21st June 2024. Well what can I say? customer service was spot on and both girls who served me were lovely. Initially, I ordered Salt & Pepper Squid, this item does not get ordered a lot. As a result of this the staff were deeply apologetic and informed me it was not available and if I would like to choose anything else. I chose Salt & Pepper King Prawn instead, the staff were extremely apologetic about the squid not being available and reimbursed the difference in cost. The level of customer service was fantastic and the overall meal was fantastic, I shall certainly be visiting again. I must add that it's lovely to be able to walk down place my order and sit inside and wait for it to be cooked. Thank you Perfect Wok! xx

Disgusting food. I can’t believe even the egg fried rice tasted watery, I couldn’t eat my meal, wandering dragon, my husband had capital spare ribs, he described them as tasting rancid. Never again will we get a takeout from there.

My favourite Chinese and go to on a Friday night. Good portion sizes for the price and is tasty every single time, I can’t fault perfect wok at all. All local veggies out there need to try their salt and pepper beancurd, full of flavour and just delicious. Staff are always super lovely aswell.

We had meal for three and chicken noodle soup. The meal arrived within half an hour it was hot, everything was fab and tasted really fresh, good portions lots of meat and prawns far too much rice which is saved for another day. Mums soup was lovely she is not a big eater at 91 yrs but she loved it. First time from here we will definitely be using again.

Really love the food. Ordered and collected quite a few time and they have never failed to impress. All the negative feedback is rubbish. Best Chinese in mount sorrel. My favourite is beef chop Suey and rice 👍

All meat was inedible. Mostly skin, sinue and bone or dry. Sauce was nice but rice tasted like soil. Hugely disappointed. Used this takeaway for many years when I lived nearby. I don't recommend any food!

Nice food but they have cut the meal size down by half. Lemon chicken used to fill my container but now its half full. Still nice but fill it up!!

Have ordered from here regularly, never any issues. Food always to the same standard everytime we have ordered. Good portions and huge selection available on the menu - best to ask for pricing when ordering as the print out menus can be incorrect.

Favourite local takeaway - the quality of food is always of a high standard and really tasty. We’ve never had a bad meal! Delivery drivers are consistently friendly and polite.

We have been using this takeaway for a long time. Never had any issues and would highly commend it.

Really disappointing service, lie about wait times, argue when challenged and rude when we cancelled! Shame as we have had numerous good dealings with them but unfortunately this has ruined any further custom from myself! Clearly loyalty with them goes nowhere, avoid and send your custom elsewhere.

Really disappointed the last 2 occasions and sadly won't be using again. Most recently Saturday 30th July ordered a few items and everyone of us who ate rice are now ill with food poisoning. Too coincidental that it could be anything else and the person who had chips is fine. Will definitely report to environmental health. Trust this takeaway at your peril. UPDATE 19/08/2022. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ISSUED IT 1/5 HYGIENE RATING AFTER AN INSPECTION.

Awful meal last night. All the sauces were so thick and congealed, the chips were almost inedible and the spring rolls went straight in the bin. Would have sent everything back to the kitchen if it hadn’t been a takeaway!!

Absolutely shocking. I food I ordered was wrong, the sauce was something I can’t eat for health reasons, it only became apparent once I tasted it. I obviously couldn’t eat it and had to bin it. I phoned the restaurant and they said they would only offer me a refund for the incorrect sauce, even though the whole meal was ruined. NEVER AGAIN, AVOID THIS CHINESE TAKEAWAY LIKE THE PLAGUE

Great takeaway arguably the best in mountsorrel

I wont be using you again. 1 you dont have or know how to tell the time 2 i order a plain "CHICKEN CHEWMAIN" and you send me a plan chewmain????

Had a takeaway on 2nd May and pleased that the food arrived in good time. However was disappointed with food quality and the crispy aromatic duck was neither crispy nor aromatic, but was soggy, fatty and unpleasant to eat. None of the food was particularly hot and was luke warm at best. Would rather wait the full time for the food to ensure quality and value for money.

I have been using this Chinese since I came to Rothley 26 years ago. It has probable changed ownership in that time but I still use it. I love the Beef Szechuan and Lemon Chicken. Never found anywhere around better. Consistently good. I collect but order first. Reasonable cost too and good portion.

A decent Chinese and definitely one of the better ones in the Lougboroughand villages area. I do find their online ordering inconsistent and doesn't always work which is a bit of a shame as I've had to go else where a few times due to this.

Disgusting Food, very rude staff, no clue about customer service!

Told it would be 2 hrs and it came in just over an hour . The food was hot tasty and a very pleasant delivery driver . Definitely order again thankyou 👍👍👍👍

Well this was a first time we have tried all the local China’s and all rubbish we was driveing to Leicester to get a good one then we buy chance seen these 10/10 food was bang on beautiful I hope they keep it up bbq sauce was nice and thick and special curry was perfect chow main was prefect keep up the good work I hope there consistently do this 👍

This restaurant is so frustrating. When it's good it's absolutely delicious. Unfortunately that's only a couple of times out of ten. The rest of the time the dishes are packed to the brim with onions and the sauce a bit watery. If it wasn't for the amazing salt & chilli chips we'd have given up altogether.

This is the best Chinese for miles. Staff are always great and the food is always perfect!

Polite staff. Always pleased with the food. Never even lived in the village but only use this Chinese takeaway as its the best in the area. Well done to you.

The food here is fabulous! I find that the veggie/tofu dishes are full of mixed veg. Staff happy to accommodate special requests. Fast delivery. Hot and tasty food.

Food was nice, unfortunately, I discovered bits of chicken in my vegetarian chow mein.

I'm new to the area and looked for the highest star rating of local takeaways...... Oh my God! I dread to know what the one star rated were like. Will not be ordering from there again

Never had any issues with perfect wok. Food is always fresh and arrives ready to be dished out. Delivery staff members are always friendly. I have been using perfect wok for over a year and they are consistent in the good service they provide.

Nice Chinese food.....best in mounsorrel plus the girl on Sunday's always very helpful....spot on n takes my order perfect....love this place :)
