Went for meal with the mrs got served about 11 ish to ask what to eat we ordered. Still at 1:45 no food so got up and left will not be returning here again

My husband and I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone at the wheatsheaf for making our day so special. We got married on the 20th September and hired the room upstairs for a big table of 20 and had our wedding meal here. The pub has such a lovely welcoming feel and the staff and food are amazing. Everyone is so accommodating and service fantastic! We definitely will be returning. Highly recommended. Thank you again to you all. Mr & Mrs Marshall

This is the first time our WI ladies that lunch have tried The George Beautiful decorations inside, lots of twinkling fairy lights. Great service, great food and good hospitality Thanks to all of you, we will definitely be back

Three teenagers behind the bar - serving free drinks to their friends - ignoring everyone else. Shouted up a few times but waited 30 minutes about to get served. Always used to be good but bar staff now let it down badly.

I’ve been going to and MAINLY ordering from Bianca’s since I was 17 years old. I’m 45 it’s brilliant. That’s all. Love the GB Supreme. Xx

Just visited here late for four fantastic fish and chips portions The gentleman really looked after us and was very kind, sorry I didn't get his name. Thank you also to the young lady behind the bar.

Decent atmosphere and friendly service but, and it’s a big but, my Belly Pork was probably the toughest, most disagreeable piece of meat I have ever been served in any restaurant anywhere in the world. I won’t be returning.

After a long drive back home after a nice family weekend away, we stopped off for a rest bite and to freshen up. Upon entry asked the bar maid if we could use the lavatory, was told yes, and was helpfully pointed in the right direction. Upon returning however my old and disabled mother was set up on, what could only be described as an awful, spiteful, vicious bar prop, who thought it right to treat passer bys in the most awful and disgusting manner. Which is a shame, as we WAS going to stop for a hot drink potentially. But after the most rude women I've ever come across had verbally ASSULTED, us, only to also be Proved wrong by the bar maid about her VILE attack, we thought best of staying on, and just carried on home. Truly awful despicable customers ruining what was hoped to be a nice stop off, wouldn't recommend any outsiders stopping off her, seems to be expected that it's a "local pub, for local people".

To be expected there are always going to be people, especially students, that are disrespectful and feel the need to lash out through leaving bad reviews but I’ve come here with friends for years and I, and none of my friends, have ever had a problem. The staff are fair, understanding and absolute gem’s. Good people, people who come here never stop coming back and it’s no wonder why! ❤️ Ps. They’re also dog friendly

That's has to be the worst takeaway we have ever had I wouldn't have even fed it to a stray dog let alone ate it me and my partner took a bite and both said how awful it tasted let alone looked use to be the best place for a kebab but supreme pizza down the road now dominate this place and will certainly be our first and only choice from now on,and anyone reading this avoid like the plaque the food has gone downhill dramatically.

Very friendly service, a little late but no problem, food was a good temperature, just not as good flavour as I'm used to and a bit salty.
