The best restaurants in Charnwood East Midlands

My friend and I really enjoyed our meal here a couple of nights ago. The pies were delicious and the service was very good.

We went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food and staff were excellent 👍

Went for lunch today and the food was delicious. Thank you to the young apprentice chef Spencer for the great food.

Went as a table of 6 on a Saturday evening. It was a busy evening and didn't feel there were enough staff on as they were all doing bar and table service and there were long waits between courses. They were polite, friendly and attentive. Did also find that we had to wait for cutlery after the food was delivered. The food was great to be fair and would happily go again. The only issue with the food was the price of the deserts. Am afraid £8.95 for a small slice of cheesecake was excessive. Overall a decent experience with a little room for improvement

Fantastic pub lovely atmosphere and very friendly and great service would recommend popping in you won’t be disappointed.

Great service from David, who made a family birthday lunch so much more enjoyable. The food was delicious and we had a cosy table by the roaring log fire. We will come again!

something wrong with the whole Comms between Just Eat & farmhouse pizza... just eats says 20-30 mins for delivery, farmhouse confirm arrival 5.45-6pm but arrived at 5pm. also the pizza ordered was pepperoni Passion with extra pepperoni, which was not apparent on the pizza and the Donna kebab meat was dry, stale and not really edible. overall not good and terrible value & quality for cost.

Ordered food tonight at 7:55pm app said delivery 35-50 mins at 9:30 pm rang to see where my food was, was told it hadn't left the shop due to delivery driver issue (which is understandable) was told it would be half an hour!!!! At 10:30 the food still hasn't arrived, shop not answering the phone !!!! Ridiculous I can understand being delayed but at least contact your customer to tell them!!!

Absolutely fantastic staff, fantastic food and an accommodating landlord made our trip perfect. Highly recommended

Always on time or early with delivery. Food is hot and tasty. A proper chippy!

Overall they've been great, one of the few places locally that send out crispy fries, and actually put the kebab meat in bread (if you ask) as opposed to sending out a box of meat, and bread on the side...
