Cannot rate it highly enough! The first bubble tea shop I’ve even seen to have cup, lid and straw made of lined paper, instead of all plastic! Well done!! 👏👏👏

Lovely little place, nice helpful staff, they seem to take care making it, cute packaging, nice tea.

Service is great, staff are lovely but the tea is really bad. Especially for the price. This is my go-to combination but this time it tasted nasty. Really weak peach flavour, would be gross if I didn't get 120% sweetness. Doubled the lychee boba but it was still a tiny portion. Astronomical price of £6+

All the teas are tasty, recently I tried the “Thai iced milk tea” with Tapioca … the best tea I have ever tried, 100% recommended.

Tried it twice, both were a disappointment. The tapioca tastes ok, everything else in a milk tea jyst sucks. Flavour is off, milk tea is literally too bitter and tangy- the milk doesn't compensate for it. Idk what they do wrong, tried milk tea in 4 places in Brighton and this one is just bad. Gave them a second try but should not have.

This is the first best Bubble Tea I’ve had. Fully put my trust in you & didn’t disappoint. I dream about Brown Sugar Latte from now on…

I ordered a thousand taro tea with tapioca, nothing was just milk I gave my boyfriend a taste thinking maybe it was me but he told me that indeed it had no taro flavor and not just once I decided to give it another chance and I ended up very disappointed and for the price it is not worth it

extremely disappointed Ordered a large matcha milk tea with taro balls, and the tea was literally milk with no flavour of matcha at all. I ended up drinking plain milk. I had to wait 8 minutes for the taro balls with terrible texture.

This bubble tea shop is the best in Brighton. Everything is about quality and the price worth it (not expensive to compare with others). The staff is absolutely lovely. I come a couple of times every weeks, it's an habit and i'm never disappointed. Thank you !

We ordered a roasted milk tea, a peach tea . the tea lacked flavour and it was too milky . Disappointing.

Their mousse matcha is amaizing and I also recommend the brown rice milk tea❤️. The matcha taste great and the mousse mouse just makes me so happy. Probably the best on I had for ages, it's light and compliments the drink very well. I also added brown sugar pearls and they were the best I had by far (very nice after taste and not too sweet). I can't recommend this place enough The staff is also super lovely and the cat theme is super adorable. (Thank you very much for making such awesome drinks❤️)

really lovely staff ! it was my first time ordering here and I was a bit confused by the mousse/tea lattes options as I hadn’t seen them before. they looked really interesting and I asked one of the workers if they could explain the difference and they were really nice and explained everything. I settled on a regular iced black mousse drink (£4) with tapioca (£0.50) which was £4.50 which I thought was reasonable in terms of price for bubble tea, and we also tried a mango slushie (£4) which was also really nice and refreshing! the mousse was really nice, I am a big fan of frothy textures and it was interesting to have a frothy texture in an iced drink! the only thing I could think to improve would be to add a menu with your prices somewhere online so it can be more accessible and easier to see what to expect before you go - I have seen that there’s been a picture uploaded here on Google maps but the quality is quite low so it’s not easily readable. other than that, everything was great! our drinks were also ready extremely quickly, it took about 1-2 minutes ! thanks to the lovely staff :)

Fall in line, order your drink, customize with add-ons and sugar/ice levels, wait a bit while watching your milk tea being prepared, get your drink, poke, enjoy. The wait can be long if you see a line, so if you don't see a long queue, go for it!

Ordered matcha milk tea which taste like water

I bought matcha tea, 2 pork buns, a custard bun and a creamy custard bun. The pork buns and the custard bun was old, I could tell because the filling of the custard bun was dry, the pork filling has the old meat feel and the bun itself was a little tough. The pork bun was also too sweet, even for my tastes. The matcha tea tasted a little fishy but not as bad as one other place I've been to. If people don't know oxidised matcha becomes denatured and starts to taste fishy, this is because of poor practice with match or poor storage of it. The cream custard bun was fine but nothing special and a little pricey.

I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes to pick up the drink and they totally messed up my order! I order a oolong milk tea with coconut jelly with 70% sugar, but they gave me a totally different one, with no sugar and pearls!

Needs a bigger straw for the tapioca pearls. Besides that, everything else is great.

Poor customer service and awful bubble tea. I ordered a Taro Bubble Tea and it tasted more like cream with very very little flavor of taro. However the Taro Bubble Tea was very purple. I suspect that its artificial food coloring. Also my Taro Bubble Tea was so creamy it was sickening. The price is also expensive in most bubble tea places its £4 for a Regular which includes a topping e.g Tapioca in here, you have to pay £4.25 for a Milk Tea Bubble Tea and additional 50p or 60p per topping depending on which topping you choose. I was served by a young Asian girl who seems to have an attitude problem - she was very miserable and impatient when we were asking questions, was frowning the whole time. When she answered our questions she was really stroppy. Not even a hello or greeting when she served us. Funny when the someone walked in which I think is the manager as she was training a new staff, the staff serving me instantly perked up and actually smiled and started being nice. I'm never ever coming back to this place and I dont recommend it. Its not worth it. You can find better bubble tea places out there that offer customer service and actually sell nice bubble teas.

I had made this bubble tea a five then..but recently..it was not the same..the brown sugar milk tea tasted really bland...had it replaced generously by this lady..but made it just exactly the same only difference was she added whole milk. She had as well no 'people skills' and expressed no resentment and just handed over the drink like nothing...

MEWKO got both my and my partner hooked on bubble teas! Extremely knowledgable staff. We asked for recommendations and they did not disappoint, great bubble tea and super flavoursome.

the bubble tea did not taste authentic, compared to the ones i had in Hong Kong. A bit disappointed. Little flavour of the tea, it was diluted by too much water.

Bubble tea is nice but very expensive for Loughborough and the customer service is awful especially from the male who works there. He is always extremely rude and if I would have a choice of going somewhere else I would just so I don’t have to see him again. Not sure if he is the owner or just works there but he should be fired immediately.

Absolutely love this place! It was an oasis of love during the summer, and is an absolute delight every time. i don't like much sugar in my teas, and these are delicious without it! i like being able to pick the sugar/ice ratio, and the broad but more refined menu isn't as overwhelming as other places. not to mention the branding is on point and makes me smile every time i see it!

I’ve tried all the bubble tea shops in Brighton , this is my FAVOURITE . My go to drink is the passion fruit green tea with pearls and coconut jelly 30% sugar , it’s refreshing and the pearls are the perfect texture. Sometimes I order it off of hungry panda £10 minimum I think so I order 3, breakfast lunch and dinner ;)

Having lived in Asia previously, this is definitely the most authentic bubble tea place in Brighton. The other bubble tea places are more like super sweet fruit juice than tea and when you ask for less sweet it just tastes like water, whereas Meowko tastes great even with the lower sugar options. For anyone who really likes the tapioca pearls, they're more generous with their portion sizes than the other places too which is appreciated 👌

Tried this place for the first time today, the service was good, I ordered roasted milk tea, which had a really nice flavour! The egg pudding was nice too ^ ^ overall a pleasant experience.

Lougborough has slim pickings for bubble tea and this is the only one in the city centre (Pearls is on the Loughborough University campus and restricted to university term times). The drinks are top notch and there is a good variety, along with some Taiwanese food in a cooler. I have seen cuter cups and the atmosphere is minimalist and is not cosy - more of a pop in, grab and go. Still I hope that it survives the pandemic closures.

Great tasting Tea. Friendly staff and quick service. Also glad to see that the staff are appropriately careful regarding covid19. Only coming close to hand you your drink, and wearing masks. Best independent tea shop I've been to and I hope one day they expand their brand so I can have more access to it.

Have bought from these guys countless times with no issues, there is sometimes a bit of a wait due to popularity but it's worth it. My favourite is the peach milk tea and the passionfruit happy juice. Great stuff, i am so happy they are accepting orders again!

Got orders wrong on two occasions even after confirming the order. The owner was unwilling to correct it. Struggles with English so a huge language barrier. Word of advice, Be sure to check the receipt properly.

Orders a Superme Orange Fruit Tea. I came in a massive square shaped plastic container. It has fresh slices of orange and taste was amazing. I added a helping of strawberry popping peals which made it even more special. I have half sugar without ice. The drink is already cold so no ice necessary. Half sugar is just right. It was very good, would definitely go back.

The lady was not freandly and she was rude to me and my mate and the perls were discussing and the the drink was so strong and when I went last time it was not that strong so would not go back :(

The drinks are the best and also they are the nicest people so I really recommend this place

A new European lady who works there is very unfriendly. She looks at you like you are begging for a free drink and never welcoming. I often go there to buy a drink and Chinese lady there was nice.

This is my favourite bubble tea place in Brighton. I can't comment on all the flavours because I get the same every time, but the Jasmine Milk Tea with tapioca is lovely. Gutted it doesn't open earlier!

Atrocious..appalling service. Waited for 20 minutes only to be given the wrong order. Advertise that they can mix flavours, which was approved by the lady on the till only to be told patronisingly this is not possible 20 minutes later,by another lady. No attempt to issue refund either. Had to take what I did not ask for,too sweet and synthetic tasting despite asking for no sugar.

The best (albeit the newest) bubble tea place in Brighton, and I have tried them all several times a week. Love how fresh the tea and ingredients taste. I’m not Chinese but love the tea from here so much that I had to install an app in Chinese to get it delivered to my home (Hungry Panda).
