Went for a meal Saturday evening, loads of Poppadoms and Pickles and really good choice of curries, I had a Chicken Balti, Pilau Rice & Naan, really good and plenty of curry to mop up with my Naan. Everybody has a good meal and reasonably priced. Took our own beers as no drinks licence. They provided glasses

Picked up a takeaway last night, starter main and side dish, food was great and service spot on, well done Baz will definitely be back 👍🏻

Well we walked in the front door the area looks awful laundry bags in the way, delivery bags messy front door steps should of walked away as first impressions were so bad we were the only people on a Friday night. Tables were semi wobbly chairs had old nylon covers which didn’t fit Exceptionally cold asked for heating to be put on food was cold in temperature place needs doing up just awful nothing good to say about it people walked out whilst we were there as it was so cold. We even came back and checked the hygiene rating would definitely dispute it’s 5 rating. Obviously from a long time ago

I’ve had many Indians and so far this is the best one! Always polite when I walk in with chocolate at the register and always starting conversations, our food was ready in 10,15 mins which is great compared to some places, always checking what we requested so the chef didn’t get anything wrong and by time I got home was still hot, and as a fussy eater I requested my Nan bread separately and that’s what they did, toilet are clean and hygienic and was over all polite.

This was the first time that we have ordered from Little India and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely amazing. It was hot, flavoursome and delicious. We will definitely be ordering an Indian takeaway from here again. Thank you so much. What a great experience. 😁

I take my family here regularly to eat & never been disappointed. The food is consistently good, well presented and plentiful. Baz & his staff are caring and friendly.

Just had a chicken Korma and Dansak with boiled and pilau rice. Both curries very nice overall but too sweet for what I prefer. I will definitely consider having from there again.

Takeaway for 4 Christmas day. The food was spectacular, I had a paneer madras and spicy chips, flipping lovely, just the right level of heat and super delicious. Everyone was really happy with their choices. They even called us later on to check we'd enjoyed everything. Faultless.

With Baz at the helm, service is great! Consistently delicious, good value for money and will even cook dishes not on the menu! Tried other places but nobody beats Little India round here.

Very disappointed. Phoned to place my order at 5pm on the Sunday. Was told that it would be ready at 6pm. Thought it was a long wait....then receive a call to say that the man who took the order forgot it was a Sunday so it will be ready 5.30pm....but also the credit card machine was broken and I needed to bring cash. On arrival, took my money and told me he would not charge me for pickles.. Waited until 5.45pm...then to be told the original guy who took my order had not charged me for the starters....so had to pay more money. Meal was for 3 members of my family....and all 3 were ill with stomach upsets the next day. Will certainly not be returning or using again.

The food is excellent and great value for money. Baz and the team are so welcoming. All in all a great little find, highly recommend 😊

First time at little India was greeted by baz really nice and friendly along with all the other staff We had starters and mains all 5 star quality food along with complimentary popodoms and sides thought that was a nice touch All at very reasonable price take your own drinks aswell really rate this place and will defo return

Ordered a takeaway and it was over 40 minutes late. When it arrived I have never tasted an Indian so bland, without any flavour at all. My daughter doesn't like spicy and agreed that her meal and mine were awful.

Absolutely delicious! I'm so happy. My partner and I go to a lot of Indians and this has to be one of the best. Especially for the amazing prices. Have saved in my maps so I can make sure to revisit. Run by a lovely friendly family. FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! It was the best Naan (cheese & tomatoe) my partner ever had, he was soooo happy. Thanks for such a lovely meal.

Food was excellent but we were rushed.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We ordered via UberEats and the shop was open and available with their own delivery. The order went through and also did the payment. After almost TWO HOURS the food wasn't delivered yet. I've been trying calling ALL of their numbers (both in app and the one found on Google) but no-one responded; just an annoying voice mail. Eventually I canceled my order and got a refund from UberEats. I left them multiple messages but they never called back or apologiesed.

Placed an order with them at 6.30 and was told it would be 40 minutes. Got a call at 7 to say it would be 80 minutes to which we agreed. Food still hasn’t arrived by 8.30 so called and were told it had been cooked and was waiting to be picked up. Still hasn’t received the food by 9, tried to call and couldn’t get through. Have been trying to contact them for over half an hour and no one has answered. Have just stolen our money and not delivered the food. 100% would NOT recommend this place.

Food is always good quality and freshly made from scratch. Good to sit in or takeaway. Bring your own bottles as owner does not have an alcohol licence. Very friendly and my go-to for curry.

Order went through, got confirmation and have been charged. No food. After calling they insist there is no order but the money is gone from my account! Refused to help me work out what went wrong and just told me to order again which I obviously don't want to do as I've been charged and they can't tell me what's gone wrong. Then said 'I have another call' and just started speaking to someone else on a different phone without even finishing our conversation!!!

I recently visited this restaurant to celebrate a family members birthday. The service was wonderful and all starters and mains were delicious. Would definitely recommend visiting here!

Called in here after work for a quick bite to eat with a friend and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food served. Very friendly staff and good choice on the menu. I went with the little India special dish and it was very tasty consisting of loads of chicken. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent. Delivery driver was very smart & polite. We had chefs special curry, lamb balti, keema nam, keema rice for the 1st time. . Will definitely order again. If you order on line, its 10% discount. Too late for our order, but next time 👍👍

Recently moved to the area and this place was highly recommended so we gave it a try last night. Absolutely awful. I ordered chicken shashlik, a dish I have regularly, what arrived was nothing like any shashlik I have had before, and not nice. Partner’s garlic chilli chicken was greasy and unpleasant, chips soggy and naan bread smelt and tasted off so went straight in the bin. Very confusing as there are so many good reviews but we won’t be using again I’m afraid.

although the food is decent from this place the delivery time is unacceptable, ordered at 17.55 on a week day (Tuesday) delivery time 20.20 , to me this is unacceptable for a weekend never mind a weeknight!No apologies for late delivery and not even as much as a free poppadom eitherwill not use again!!!

Ordered £43 worth of food for collection. It said 30 mins to collect or 60 mins for delivery. After arriving at the restaurant 30 mins after ordering, I had to wait a further 45 minutes until my food was ready. Headed home only to find out the most expensive item (£13.99) mix grill was missing and all the naan I ordered was wrong. I will NEVER go back here again and in all honesty want my money back for such terrible service

Had a delivery from here that took 2.5 hours to arrive with no explanation or apology! We were hoping the meal would be worth the wait but it so wasn't, the food was tasteless and bland! To be honest we've had better microwave curry's in the past! Very disappointed, definitely won't be ordering from here again!

Absolutely fantastic! Took my father, a real connoisseur of Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine, for a meal here this evening and we were blown away by the quality. Everything was cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. The prices are so reasonable too. We all agreed it was probably the best meal we'd ever enjoyed out together. We will be back again many times. A big thank you to Paul and all the other staff for making it a fabulous evening. See you tomorrow, probably. Same table, same time please.

Food consistently excellent, service really courteous and attentive. We eat here regularly and are never disappointed. Food is definitely the best when comparing to other Indian restaurants in Shepshed. Excellent value too, especially as you take your own alcohol.

Thought we would try this little gem after their recent posts on social media. We were not disappointed!!Staff were friendly, the food plentiful and very tasty! We were even given a complementary cheesecake and ice cream for dessert, which went down a treat with the children!!Well worth the visit from Kegworth, and very reasonable (you can take your own drinks!!).We will be back.

I've recently moved to Loughborough for my my studies and I was feeling homesick. So I went in for some "desi" food and I was delighted by the authenticity of the food and that it's actually Indian and not a Western take on it. The Palak Paneer was especially nice and I could tell that the ingredients were fresh given how tender the paneer was. And the meats are so well marinated. In conclusion, I have found a staple place to eat for the next four years at least.

I was really looking forward to our Indian take away last night (Friday night treat) and received very burnt paneer - A vegetarian dish that I have been eating for many, many years at different restaurants. Who ever served this would have known that it would have been burnt and yet still served it. I was very disappointed.

Ordered a variety of food as a take away , meat and vegetarian . Perfectly cooked with good flavours . Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommended. Special thanks to kaz that looked after us and greeted us with our food during a busy Saturday evening service .

Went here over the weekend during a visit to see my wife's parents. Great dialogue with the waiter, he obviously knows all his customers and had worked out we weren't locals. The food is excellent, some of the nicest I can remember. Throughout the meal the waiting team were friendly, available but discreet. In addition, as it's a BYO the bill was very reasonable!We will definitely be back (many times)!

I've used this takeaway on numerous occasions-and have always been impressed by the quality of the curries-when you ask for a vindaloo, it's just the right amount of heat; the meat is good quality and the sauces are flavoursome and fruity.

This restaurant does not have a license, so it's bring your own beer.

Stopping at the airport in a premier Inn, ordered via just eat. Food was delicious and hot and arrived fast, delivery guy was brilliant and professional. Gave us some extra bhaji and poppadoms. Every thing was very fresh. Particularly liked the veg dansak. Excellent!

We have been have weekly takeaways for almost a year and in the last couple of months it has gotten worse. Tonight was terrible! We ordered for 4 of us, two go the dishes okay but lacked flavour. The other two was chicken tikka masalas (a pretty standard dish) and it was chewy and over cooked making it inedible. We rang to complain and were sent replacement dishes but they were just as bad and had less flavour, tasting quite watery and was awful. We will no longer be having our takeaways from here.

We usually have a takeaway through just eat which is great and always earlier than the time given, but decided to eat in . The service was great with friendly staff. The food was delicious and didn’t disappoint at all, spot on for my taste anyway. Overall a very nice evening.

I ordered a vegetarian starter , a main course curry and Naan and the quality and price was decent. They gave me free onion Bhajis and poppadoms which was very kind of them. Good place for a takeaway.

Delivery driver phoned me 4 times because he could not find my address should of used a sat nav

We've ordered from Little India a number of times and its always been great. We ordered last Friday and after 1.5 hours we rang up the restaurant to see where the order is and they claimed they hadn't received the order from Just Eat, and i'd need to contact Just Eat for a refund. I immediately called Just Eat and I believe they attempted to contact the restaurant a number of times without luck. 5 days later Just Eat contacted them again and the restaurant would not agree to a refund. Regardless, Just Eat did refund the money. Will definitely not order from here again

Food was finally delivered 1 hour and 5 minutes after the stated delivery time, following 2 phone calls to the restaurant. It took 1 hour 50 minutes from ordering to delivery. Food was good and there were free popadums and pickles, and a £5 voucher for next time, but waiting so long took a lot of the enjoyment out of the meal. Will not be using this restaurant again.

First time ive ordered here, did so because of the reviews. Ordered around 7:25pm didnt get the food until 9:45pm, the food was hot which was good but very average in my opinion. Rang after an hour to see what was happening but the guy on the other side just said my colleague is running late no apology or anything. Would have been nice to have been notified that things are running slow instead of having to wait around then chase it up

Beautiful food. Got onion baji and popadoms with order and we didn't even order them! Very happy. Wish I lived round this area just so I could have this food Again! Delivery took hour and half (minus 5 mins for early delivery) but this was quoted after ordering. Thanks for the wonderful food!

The food was bland and the delivery time at 6.20 jumped up from 40 mins to 1 and a half hours. Not happy when collection was 20mins. The manager was also quite rude about the amount of time it took to deliver.

I love Little India so much! Best Indian takeaway in the Loughborough area and wouldn't go anywhere else. Food is fantastic, staff are always cheerful and friendly and the delivery time is always earlier than stated.

We took my son for his first experience of an Indian meal. We couldnt have been more welcomed! The guys made a real fuss of my son and he loved the whole experience... then to top it all off they brought out free ice cream for us all! Great service and will definitely go back soon. Just a note that Little India isnt licensed but you can take your own alcohol if you wish.

Turned up almost an hour before the time they said it would be ready which was not convenient to us. Also, a bit disappointed that the meal for 4 only comes with a single rice portion which is not really enough.

I am currently in this restaurant writing this review....the regular restaurant we use has been sold on and the food was just nit the same, but this place is AMAZING!!
