The food was fantastic, generous portions, lots of meat & tasted great. We had a delivery & so can't comment on atmosphere in the restaurant, but customer service on ordering was very good. We will definitely order again!

Excellent value. Take your own drink the chef is very accommodating as I do not like much salt in my food very tasty. I think it is mainly a takeaway But they also have A restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

Was the worst meal we have ever had, out with freinds, popadam not cooked tasteless dips. Over the top on warm beer 🍺 what a dissatisfied customers we were. Not seen my brother for many years to end up inn a reccomend curry house. Try if you dare. Judge by the toilets, mound everywhere. God knows what the kitchen is like.

Punjabi veggie take away. We were In Leicester for football. Anmol sweet centre is maybe 5-600 m away from the crowded area around the stadium, but well worth the hike. A busy little place, but we only had to wait 15min from placing our order to eating it. We had a mixed veggie curry, 2 chappatis & a salty lassi each. All very tasty & top quality. £16 for 2.

Must have had many meals from them now and I have to say the consistency is brilliant, nothing worse than ordering meals and each time it's a totally different taste etc

Really disappointed with this place, booked a table as I walked in there was no atmosphere, food wasn't great (too much food colouring on the dishes) and they seemed that they wanted us out early even though it was only just gone 10pm. This place has got lots of potential considering it's Rothley and it should be a lot more busier on a sat,they also said they mainly do takeaways but I never heard the phone go once lol Yeah it's a bit of a strange one this place.

So glad I was recommended anmol for a decent curry. The non vegetable tali is a great set meal at at great price. Always delivered in super timing. Nice friendly staff who are happy to explain choices available. The food is delicious. Discounts available when ordering through online apps. Highly recommend 👌

We have used this restaurant many times and have been satisfied. However on this occasion portions were smaller and dishes were very dry. Naan bread resembled a biscuit and salad wasn’t fresh. Also the taste was very salty. Not the cheapest Indian takeaway either. Won’t be ordering again.

Starters were fine, main course the food was mild and bland, no flavour! I will definitely not return. Chef not following instructions!!!

No taste at all. They know to make biriyani and a curry(but no taste) They offer variety of dishes from these 2 items. Fried rice and biriyani are the same.. runied our weekend meal had to buy from KFC

Really bad food... Doesn't taste good at all.. ordered few variety items. What they delivered is the same curry.. chicken tikka masala is all about sugar.

Very poor quality of food. I ordered some food include chicken tikka. But chicken tikka was not good. Very horrible smell and I sent them email but no one reply me. So according to me they do not deserve for any star but unfortunately I have to give them lowest to lowest star which is one.

Wrong food delivered, but wanted the wrong dish back when redelivering the correct order! Not sure what they planned to do with it? Hopefully not recycle it for the customer that got our dish in error, as we got theirs 😬Besides that, food was just about okay. Won’t bother again as an all round poor experience. Shame, as it used to be really good.

Ordered a takeaway at 6.20 this evening for home delivery. I was given a delivery time of 7.40. The food was delivered on time and was delicious. Many thanks.

The byriani special is incredible

I ordered two takeaways for my wife and I. A Lamb Jalfrezi and a Lamb Saag, both with Pilau Rice and an additional Peshwari Naan. The amount of meat was generous and from a good cut of lamb. Both meals were very authentic and with the right combination of heat and spices. The rice was light and fluffy and the Naan was very tasty. Overall a very good experience and one that I shall be repeating soon. The price was reasonable and Delivery was quick. Well Done Guys.

Had to take away a couple of nights ago and it’s one of the worst Indian meals I’ve ever had, Curry had no sauce in it too many onions and peppers in it

Beautiful little Indian in Rothley which is perfect for either take away or to eat in the restaurant. The food is lovely and very reasonably priced. The service is very good and the staff are very friendly.

Very nice Friday evening meal out

The first time we ordered delivery we were told around 40 minutes. After over an hour it turned up. Last night, we were told 40-50 minutes which you expect on a Saturday night. After an hour and 20 minutes we rang to be told “ I think it left about 3 minutes ago “ then we had a call from them to say there is a mix up with the order. When questioning this we were asked “do you want your food or not “ no apology. So we declined and ordered from pizza inn which I will be leaving an excellent review for !

It's a good local but bit as good as it used to be. The staff are great and some dishes are really flavoursome but others are a poor cousin. Visited recently and there was an oily smell in the air which stayed on my coat for days. The bring your own alcohol policy is great and they supply a diy corkscrew and teeny tiny wine glasses which cracked me up. Recommendations are the tarkha dhal (thick) and methi gusht (prob not how it's spelled). The lads who work there really do make the place though

This is not our usual curry house but ordered a couple of times as they deliver to Mountsorrel. Overall the food has been pretty good and the delivery quite quick.

I have never had food this bad, not only all dishes just brown but tasteless and what you could taste was just sickly. The beer on draft was smelly and tasted like the pipes had not been cleaned for a few years, which is probably how it is . Staff rude and arrogant about their own food. Truly go got some bread and cheese from the local shop and you will be better off ! I do hope I never have to return in my life ..

the meal was fantastic, The staff even created a dish to suit our taste and food preferences. I would and I will be returning back to the restaurant on a regular basis and would encourage all others to experience the friendly and brilliant atmosphere themselves.

This restaurant has been in Rothley for years and it's always delivered excellent, good value curry. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the service is first class. Its starting to look a bit dated and the toilets could do with a lick of paint, but other than that I can't fault it.

Due to he Chinese takeaway being closed we diverted to the anmol on a whim. Have to say although they were very busy the guy serving was fantastic & had a.very good humour about him. Food was very good & we only waited for 20 or so minutes & enjoyed a complimentary beer for our "troubles"! Will definitely be returning. Well done anmol x

Had 2 takeaways recently and in both the food has been great. And it is slightly cheaper than where we usually go. Would recommend giving it a go.

Este lugar debe estar apagado. El peor indio nuestro grupo de 6 ha probado nunca. Esperamos más de una hora para los entrantes. A continuación se sirve platos colocaron en un plato pequeño que no miran o gusto nada como debería hacerlo. Los camareros estaban comiendo su cena en la parte trasera del restaurante antes incluso tuvimos la nuestra! La calidad es asqueroso. No puedo creer que este lugar es en realidad el comercio.

Tengo que decir que me quedé muy decepcionado con la comida aquí. Pedí un plato que marca como "altamente recomendado" y era horrible! Piezas de medio decente de cordero tikka en una horrible salsa insípida. Era más como un curry de tomate jabón. También pedimos un arroz keema, que era igual de malo. Los pedazos de carne en masiva de arroz sin sabor. Si vives en Rothley, no te molestes en ir allí simplemente porque es local. Haga un viaje a la India para la comida fusión en Markfield que realmente sabe auténtica y real.

I have to say that I was very disappointed with the food here. I ordered a dish that they marked as 'Highly Recommended' and it was awful! Pieces of half decent lamb tikka in a horrible bland sauce. It was more like tomato soap than a curry. I also ordered a Keema rice which was equally bad. Massive chucks of meat in rice with no flavour. If you live in Rothley, don't bother going here just because it's local. Take a drive to Indian Fusion in Markfield for food that actually tastes authentic and real.

We decided to eat here last night when walking past as the menu looked good and the place had a nice cosy feel. The menu had a wealth of dishes we hadn't heard of so we tried 2 mains that were new to us, they were both delicious and chocked full of meat. The serve was great and the price was fantastic. We'll definitely be coming back!!

The restaurant has benign the village for many years. The service is excellent and the value is great - it's fantastic NOT to get a bowl of sauce with a token bit of meat. The spice content of the dishes are clear and accurate so if it's described as hot be warned1

We stumbled on this place as it had gone 9pm and the pubs had stop serving. The place very big inside but big enough. We was greeted by friendly staff and took to our table straight the way, the service was quick with food and drinks. We only had poppadoms and a main course, the food was full of flavour and there was plenty to fill you up. The prices was reasonable

Not authentic !!Chicken was chewy in shashlic (bbq sauce not tomato based as should be) All round poor quality . I will not be returning here I live in Rothley such a shame

I don't understand how Anmol isn't fully booked every night because in my opinion it is one the best places for a curry in Leicestershire... Please go!!

What a find! This unassuming Indian restaurant in Rothley is outstanding. Forget the menu, just ask the staff to recommend what they eat within certain parameters of course (if you only eat chicken you need to tell them) and you'll not be sorry with your starter or main course. You'll have a great meal and value for money... Fantastic. On all my reviews I ask the question will I be back .... Is the Pope a catholic?

Never been a real lover of Indian food but the service and the staff at the Anmol, coupled with a very extensive choice on the menu, made our visit here for a friend's Birthday a real pleasure. Thanks to all there, we will be back again.

Have been using Anmol for last 5 years. Was excellent at beginning. Over last 12 months have had friends who were saying it wasn't good but I wasn't having any of it. But over last 3 weeks and having their food a couple of times I am in agreement. Really not good and tonight's dish unfortunately made me have to write this review. Very poor indeed!

Went back here for the first time in years as iv moved out of the area. Food was as delicious as ever! Great service and friendly staff too. I hope I can return again soon. The food here is consistently good so I highly recommend.

I was staying in Rothley court on a business trip for two days and on the second night I took my colleague to this restaurant. The food was very poor quality. I was really poorly the next day, the day after and the day after that. I think the cleanliness of the kitchen may be somewhat in need of an inspection. I have never been to a bad Indian restaurant yet but this by far takes the biscuit! Do not eat here even if your health depends on it.

Went expecting an average Indian but very disappointed, the wife had a butterfly king prawn starter and rec'd one prawn in batter (not crispy or tastey) whilst I had a sheek keebab which was passable. The mains were a real let down, my mixed korai was swimming in grease and the stuffed nan was definitely on the wrong side of burnt. Shall not be returning, it's cheap and you get what you pay for.

Been here twice over the past couple of months. My first visit was with some business assocaites and even though the food was tasty I was disapointed that their was no lime pickle. My second visit was for my leaving do, we were a fairly larghe party and did not book but called on our way and they had a table ready for us. The waiters looked after us very well despite us being quite a lievley bunch on this occasion.

Dropped in for an unplanned Sunday evening curry. The curry was quite greasy but was tasty and the meal for two with a kingfisher beer was only £17. The service was good. Its not a place i would make a booking and plan to go to but if you are living nearby and want a curry without travelling very far then its OK.

This is a great little Indian in Rothley. It has no drinks license so you can take in your own......Happy days.It was busy on the Weds night that we went in but we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table at the back of the restaurant (slightly squashed in though).The menu covers every Indian dish you have ever heard of.I ordered the mixed korai which was very tasty and not over spicy (a welcome change). The mushroom rice was a much larger portion than you usually get in Indian restaurants and was lovely.The cost of a meal here is very reasonable. 6 of us had poddadums, main course, rice and nan breads each. The final bill only came to a very pallatable £65.00 Excellent value for money. We will return.

Had an enjoyable meal here with a party of 14 of us. The service was good and prompt and we had a marvelous selection of starters and main courses which were excellent value for money. The venue is small but ideal for an informal meal in pleasant souroundings
