Very friendly service, a little late but no problem, food was a good temperature, just not as good flavour as I'm used to and a bit salty.

Delivery took 2 hours and the chicken was raw.

The food was cold. Soggy chips. The delivery took ages to come. It was only two bags of chips and sauces. Why did it take so long?

the food quality has gone down since we started to use them; this time, the salt & chilli chips had hardly any (none) seasoning at all, and they weren't nice chips.

They never fail to deliver excellent quality food. Always piping hot, always delicious and almost always on time. The crispy king prawns salt chilli pepper are an absolute favorite of mine, they are exceptional. Keep up the good work guys 😁

Sadly not great. The chicken balls were awful - not chicken breast - my Daughter wouldn’t eat them full of grey. Other food fine but the chicken quality needs sorting

Worst chinese ever had. Completely tasteless food, duck just fat, no flavour to anything. Would not recommend, far better taken aways in the area. Called to let them know and no apology or refund offered, got the impression they weren't that bothered. Avoid this place.

Bit more salt and pepper on the salt and pepper chicken and chips! Everything else was lovely not to say they were bad but defo more seasoning required.

Fast delivery. Ordered deep fried crispy seaweed and got a packet brought from Costco sent. Chips were over fried and tasted greasy.

The 'crispy' chilli beef was soggy and pretty cold. There was no deep fried crispy seaweed but instead they sent sheets of seaweed which tasted disgusting!! This used to be my fave place to order from so I'm not sure what's gone wrong

Food is absolutely delicious but delivery was a bit later than hoped for.

Food was bland, cold and more bones than meat. The duck tasted off and the hoisin sauce was sour the chips weren’t cooked and seasoned properly everything was poor!

2 hours for the food to turn up, 1 hour later than originally said. Food was tepid and soggy by the time it arrived, do not recommend

Our first order with them was fantastic, the food is really tasty. The early delivery worked well for us, so that's not a problem. The food was freshly cooked and still hot when it arrived. Thank you.

Ordered food at 7pm and it didn’t arrive until 8:50pm. Way too long to be waiting for food and when I called up I was told they had a high volume of orders - my response was to not accept so many then. When the food finally arrived it was ok and luckily still hot after being told they were waiting on the delivery driver to pick it up. No apology or acknowledgment from the delivery driver either. Not what you expect when you’re spending almost £50 on a takeaway.

Not great. From ordering to delivery it was about 2.5 hours. Absolutely shocking. Kept ringing and asking for updates to be told 10 minutes and yet no sign. Delivery driver wasn't apologetic at all. Food was cold and soggy, sweet and sour box had split so was everywhere in the bag and I always have salt and chilli chicken and chips but this was insane the amount of chilli flakes on the food. Thought we'd try a new Chinese but won't be returning.

Food was a bit tasteless. Far too many onions in the veg dishes.

Disappointed with the food. No cashews as requested and 1 bit of pepper? Might go elsewhere next time… shame because I preferred to eat local.

Should have paid attention to the google reviews really but limited options tonight as NYE. Other similar restaurants on Just Eat were not taking orders. Chicken satay just too salty, pork and shrimp rolls lacked pork and shrimp. Spring onions with the duck pancakes old and dry

Unfortunately on this occasion, our chips seemed like they had been fried more than once, and our Singapore chow mien wasn’t as tasty and delicious as on previous occasions. Usually an excellent experience but sadly not this time. Perhaps an off day?

First time ordering (from a recomdation), never had a chow mein like yours before, so good, the bbq rib sauce is the best we have ever tasted, so much of it, we could dip the free prawn crackers in it which R so yummy. Thank you 😊

Food was 20 minutes later than the maximum time given and food was not good. Dumplings were cold and the sweat and sour sauce was the worst I’ve had. The chicken chow mein was dry and pretty tasteless. Not good value for money.

Even though it was a bit late. I was informed it would be delayed a little on the app. There are a lot of roadworks around so driving is difficult. It was worth the wait. Thank you for the tasty food.

My food is really cold the chips taste like they have been left overnight and cooked again today! Not at all hot barely warm. the barbecue spares ribs are very chewy also very cold and the egg fried rice isn’t fresh at all definitely yesterdays very dry and cold, for £18:80 I feel iv been ripped off I’m not happy at all with the meal, I won’t be ordering again. I can’t rate it at all but I’m forced to as I can’t leave a review without rating it! 😡 I choose nil rating but I have to choose a star rating when you should get no stars!!!😡

Really good food but everytime I ask for an exchange of sweet and sour sauce for curry sauce, my request is ignored and they send sweet and sour.

Well i think I can honestly say that was the best Chinese I ever tasted! Hubby had beef in black bean sauce and special fried rice and he said it was the best Chinese he had as well ! We haven't orderd Chinese in a long time but fancied a change. I'm glad we tried the new oriental chef! Can't fault it. Will order again for definite 👍

What can I say, our regular go to Chinese, the food we have never had a problem with and we've tried a variety of choices every time we order. The portion sizes are very generous, one item is definitely enough to feed two...They are the kindest souls as soon as you walk in and they look after you every time. Honestly don't understand why the rating is so low on here. Definitely recommend Oriental Chef :)

We have eaten here a few times now as the bean curd tofu dishes are delicious and a good vegan option. The staff are friendly and the food is always tasty and hot.

We always use the oriental chef, Asked for food to be delivered at 6.25 rang up at 6.39 lady on the phone was rude said she was busy and our food had left the restaurant and that 6.25 was a rough time which I understand but we had been waiting another 15 minutes Rang again at 7 she said she was rude again arguing with me saying they were busy and took a while for her to apologise she said she would ring the driver she rang me back saying 5-10 mins food then the food arrived it was warm not hot the chips and chicken balls were soggy not crispy as they had been hot held for so long

The food was 30 minutes late. No apology when it finally arrived. I'd put a note on the order not to ring the bell, but the delivery driver did anyway and woke the kids up. So not a great experience. Food was nice, but delivery experience disappointing.

Our order was late and therefore cold. Will not order again. Have ordered from oriental chef for years and never had a problem.

At least the driver was friendly when it did finally arrive, other than that, terrible service.
