We celebrated a birthday with a group of friends & family (Inc 2 children). The service was fantastic. Our table was decorated on arrival and the birthday boy was greeted with his favourite tipple. The food was so delicious and beautifully presented, they made a few tweaks to accommodate the children which was really helpful. The restaurant itself was busy, a vibrant atmosphere and an all round great place to eat and drink.

The coffee is spectacularly good, the cakes are gorgeous and the ambience is relaxed and friendly. It’s a delight to visit places like this.

Cannot fault the homemade cakes at the Peppercorn. Absolutely delicious, fresh and good sized portions. The vegan lime, courgette and pistachio was out of this world. Lovely people and a smashing garden area. Will definitely visit again.

Stopped by for lunch having read the reviews of this little place..oh my...the falafel wrap was to die for..absolutely delicious with a gorgeous mint dressing. Generous portion but I ate every last bit! My husband had Big Trev chicken in brioche which looked amazing and he enjoyed very much. Wonderful coffee and ice cream too. Will definitely be back next time I visit. Thanks 😊

Absolutely outstanding. Only a small 8 table restaurant. Nice, simple, relaxing & laid back set up. The food was exemplary. Well worth the cost. I wouldn't class it as expensive as the quality deserved the cost. Was seated for around two hours and left fully satisfied. This is well worthy of being any cities top rated restaurant.

We have been wanting to try this place for so long but first came the lockdowns and we always left it too late and it was booked up. Finally we booked ahead and got a table on a Saturday night for 2 of us.It was so worth the wait - this is a tiny treasure in Margate. The atmosphere was lovely - romantic and intimate, despite 3 other bigger parties on tables around us. wonderful music playing, delicious smells coming from the kitchen - we truly felt like we had been transported to Italy! And the food - simple, beautiful, incredibly tasty, fresh, authentic flavours. You could really tell everything was made with love. Every dish was perfect and bursting with flavour. The portions were good and both my meat loving partner and my vegan self, felt satisfied and happy. Really wonderful staff - just 3 of them, the owner and chef, the kitchen asssitant and the front of house but they worked together seamlessly. How they manage to do all this and so well, in a tiny space, whilst creating a relaxed, happy and warm atmosphere, is a true to credit to all of them. Many other bigger, higher staffed local restaurants could learn a thing or two from visiting Olivio! We can't wait to come back - a true treasure!

Had a lovely granola bowl and chia tea , the best I have had in Scotland so far. Will definitely be back to try the lunch menu .

We spotted the sign for this on the drive through, so after visiting the castle, walked back to find it. So glad we did. We had the platter to share, not a single thing could be faulted. Service was excellent. We loved the look of the cakes but were just so full, so purchased 2 to take home for later that day. Really sad I forgot to leave a tip, too busy chatting to the staff & looking around so much to see, even a gin distillery. We will be back.

Lovely food. Medium rare steak cooked very well and butter chicken curry was delicious. Excellent service and conversation with Karl. Very personable and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend highly. Thanks again Karl!

The hot chocolate is absolutely 10/10! Get it with cream and marshmallows and you won’t stop smiling! The staff are amazing and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us. There are loos on site (it’s a cafe in a park). Just a lovely pit stop before wandering into Beaumaris. Please visit!

Having seen this place on hairy bikers my friends took me here for my birthday. Such a brilliant night. Food was amazing all freshly cooked and so tasty. Can highly recommend. Caribbean food at its best!

Stayed at the Kensington Hotel further up the. Road, which was awful experience. Absolutely not a 3* hotel more like 1/2* needs a complete update & food was very poor quality. Walked down to the Furzedown Hotel the staff were very welcoming even though we were not residents at the hotel. We looked at the menu whilst having a drink & it looked so good we decided to try it. The food did not disappoint in-fact it was was excellent so good we went back the following evening. Well done to the Furzedown hotel for having such an excellent chef. 5* reviews from us!!!
