Lovely little tearoom in the village Long Melford, very warm welcome and service was excellent, tea was loose leaf and cake was lovely, with generous portion.
Well worth a visit
I visited on Sunday 16th March, my partner and I both had the sunday roast one beef and one turkey, food was very tasty and piping hot, service was excellent would highly recommend.
I’ve been visiting here since it opened and the quality has just got better and better. It is my go to place to eat, both because of the food and the lovely staff.
Laura's effervescent charisma has been a huge loss to Handbridge since Meltdown's closure, but will no doubt be a giant gain to whatever comes next for the (former) Toastie Queen. I say former, as there's one final chance to taste her magic creations before the apron is hung up for good at fellow Chester indie scene star That Beer Place on Foregate St tomorrow, which I wouldn't miss for all the cheese in Cheshire...
La comida es buena, pero 40 libras por una bruscetta, un plato de pasta y una (minúscula) copa de vino tinto, esto lo está empujando un poco amigo : - )
Been going here for a few years , the food is delicious, staff are lovely too. I was very very sad to hear it's closing . Very sad the cost of food plus the electric, gas prices have gone through the roof. You will be missed. I'll be in before you close your doors.
delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine, was surprised at not only the quality but also the portion size, my wife is vegetarian so there was plenty of options for her too
Bonito curry y ambiente. Personal muy amable y servicio de camarero.
Excelente relación calidad-precio y súper porciones.
Es una opción para mi familia cuando necesitamos un indio para satisfacer las papilas gustativas.
Have just learned that Sea Fever is now permanently closed. To say I am gutted is an understatement, we have been there many times and each meal was absolutely superb, it was our main reason for visiting Bude from Hertfordshire, we would stay 2 nights and eat there on both of them.
I discovered the wonderful Tea Garden at Comrie Croft when out for a drive. Easy parking. Very friendly staff. Beautifully presented, delicious cakes and bakes. Extremely clean and tidy. Lovely, lovely coffee. Great to be able to sit inside or out. The staff are wonderful with nice chat and local information. Will definitely return and can recommend highly to everyone.
Duck and chips anyone? I’m quackers about the food at The Taylor Made Kitchen in The Shambles Market, with a highlight being the Peking Duck loaded fries. Please note, this was a special and so may be different when you visit - but I’ve had others and they’re all MAGIC!
Skin-on fries topped with confit duck, hoisin sauce, plum sauce, siracha, Japanese mayo, kimchi, coriander and spring onions. I had the small (£7) but it was really substantial, also available as a large portion for £10. Nothing fowl about this dish, it was delicious!
I’ve also tried the Pizza Fries, smothered in ooey gooey melted cheese. Too cheesy? No, I’ve made a career out of it!
I’ve had their burgers too, the mac and cheese, and the festive poutine at Christmas. Coming to York? It’s worth poutine this one on your list.
The Wizard of York (Wizard Walk of York)
Such a lovely cafe with excellent staff and food. Very gluten free friendly. We’ve discovered they do amazing gluten free flapjacks and took a few away with us too!
Great little Tapas Bar. Nice restaurant to go for a quiet evening with the wife or a large party. Food is varied and very tasty. Keith the owner is very attentive and keeps the food and wine coming. Reasonably priced as well. If your in Bourne I'd recommend a visit..
Owner was so lovely and helpful, first visit tonight. Cakes were absolutely amazing 😍 We came all the way from Fife and will definitely be back soon! ❤️
