The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

Went into Greggs about 5.00pm, was pretty quiet. I had no problems with any staff, they were polite, however my problem was with the food. So we ordered two drinks, two sausage rolls and a novelty cake/bun for my daughter. After packing our sausage rolls, the man then asked what novelty bun we would like. While my daughter choosing there were three big dirty flies flying all around the cakes (possibly been around the sausage rolls too). I was hesitant to still purchase the cake but because of my anxiety i felt i couldn’t change my mind because of a fly. Even the customers behind me were saying ‘eww look at the flies’. Safe to say my daughter did not eat the cake, i threw it away as soon as i got home. However because we were on a day trip, being 6 months pregnant i was on the verge of passing out if i didnt eat. So after really close inspection i decided to eat the sausage roll. However all i could think about was how i hope it doesn’t make me poorly…WELL fast forward a few hours i had horrendous nausea and stomach pain. I had diarrhoea and sickness that evening/night. Could have been a coincidence but then again, there were A LOT of flies landing on food. I am so glad i didn’t allow my daughter to eat her cake that day.

I am incredibly disappointed and decided to try Burger hood in Derby as but the burger, fries and drink is excessively priced at over £10.00 per person .The fries are very tasty and plentiful but the burger and bun is a children’s portion and I realise a profit has to be made but I paid double the price for a mini bun burger . It is unlikely I shall ever return again as there is cost of living crisis and menu prices should be value for money with a substantial serving of a burger and bun .

Really good food in an excellent location. There is something awesome about being able to order properly nice food while having a few beers and watching the sport.

Excellent service - Indra was happy, friendly and caring. Food was great too - very impressed. Will come back here again.

I have eaten food from the CFC several times now and have not yet been disappointed! It is fresh with punchy ingredients and leaves you totally satisfied. Delicious.

Great place with delicious steaks and friendly, super welcoming staff. The quality of the meat is fantastic and the preparation equally so. Baqueano should be the go to in a city where so many other places serve thin, overcooked slabs of sadness.

Really nice food. I'm vegetarian so was worried about the cheese tasting bad but it was really lovely. Staff so nice as well.i will definitely be coming back thank you guys. I had the americana classic and bacon and cheese loaded fries and it was delicious. Also best fake bacon ive ever had it didn't have that artificial taste.

We had a lovely lunchtime meal for a birthday celebration. The food was great - I had hummus as a starter and it was possibly the best I’ve ever had. We were all very happy with our food choices - there is plenty of choice and lots of GF options (my partner is coeliac). Our server was super friendly and helpful. It was quiet when we went, but I expect there’s a nice atmosphere in the evening as it’s a lovely place. Would definitely go again 😊

We had Sunday roast lunch & it was amazing. Traditional home cooking. Very filling & so tasty. Roast potatoes were perfect. Usually so difficult to get good Vegan food out. Our first visit but definitely not our last. Parking within easy walking distance at town centre car park, free on Sundays.

If ever a place had character without being totally up itself it's this one. Charmingly run but with a down to earth decor that matches the owners' desire to connect locally. Jackfruit burger and chips was tasty and well priced and there's a surprosingly wide range of drinks, including alcohol free. Open mic Tuesdays, live music on the darker Thursday evenings (go back in September) I'll be going back!

We found this fantastic hotel after a disaster start t our holiday what a pleasure and a excellent place, Margaret and Paul go above and beyond rooms are immaculate everything you need lovely location parking, breakfast is amazing cooked by Margaret and Paul what a wonderful couple. Rooms are beautiful will 100% recommend this hotel you will not be disappointed and can't wait to return thankyou to you both for making our holiday Jack and Jackie xxx

The best burgers! Creative and tasty combos, quality ingredients and quick delivery. Cannot recommend enough!

Prime location for fringe punters. Currywurst was on point, if a bit expensive - £10 for 2 bratwurst, sauce and a small quantity of bread. There isn't much atmosphere as it's an outdoor venue. There is no external seating. Order your foods, pay your monies and leave.
