We went here to celebrate my daughter’s 22nd birthday on Valentine’s Day. The service was amazing by a nice young man called Tony. He looked after us from start to end with nothing being too much to ask. Tony was amazing and remarkable paticularly with his octopus style plate carrying. The valentines menu was very nice. Tony you’re a star. Thank you for a wonderful evening😊

Valentines sharing block with my newly wed husband, Charlotte N was our waitress in Tynemouth. She was friendly, attentive and managed to answer all our questions, gave us the time we needed and she was very knowledgeable on the menu as well as drinks. Charlotte is an asset to your team and we will definitely return in the future xxx

I was at the restaurant last night with me partner and our steak expert was called Charlotte N. She helped me on what steak to get when I couldn't decide between two. She was polite and lovely. Just like that other servers there. Nothing is a hassle to them. I have been there a few times now and it's lovely there.

Our server Jess was fantastic - very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.in fact, all the staff were lovely - the management should be proud to have such good people working with them and creating a great environment. Just been for my Birthday today. We were made welcome. All staff we friendly, attetative and knowledge. Our server Alexi as usual was excellent and we had a lovely meal. See you in a few weeks.

Excellent food, well presented. A bit crowded = noisy.

When we arrived we were met by Tony, who presented himself as a true professional courteous and humuorous although bald his beard more than made up for it, he recommended and elephant sized steak and he was certainly correct. He presented us with our desert with a wit that can be only described as magical, as he wiped his his specs he handed us the bill and we left with a smile. We shall see you again olde Tony and may God speed.

Had a great family meal here. 4 of us had fillet steak, 3 of these were perfect. Service was very good, really attentive and quick delivery. Drinks not so good however, little choice of beers (no hand pulled ales) and the Merlot was very thin and pale. But of course the main issue here is the pricing. Even with the set menu deal, it's very expensive..

Overpriced, and overrated, average steak. You need the sharp steak knife they give everyone, but you shouldn't need one with good steaks, especially at these prices. Service and attention is very good. Wine is astronomically priced for such an ordinary establishment.

Molly served us today, we had the special 2 course for £22.95 and it was lovely. Cannot complain. The steak was cooked to perfection.

I’ve been to tynemouth miller and carter twice now both times with Charlotte as my steak connoisseur and she is so helpful and friendly and gives the whole place a great vibe! thank you for making my experience so much better.

Lovely meal having 2 courses for £23. Celebrated our engagement anniversary. Alex, our server was excellent and had a lovely time.

Our Waitress Molly was very helpful and patient with my whole family and made sure we always had drinks. Food was amazing could not complain as a picky eater. Just the right atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. 10/10

This has become our go to eating out destination in the last 6 months. Great food, lovely staff and our 5 year old loves the mac and cheese! Steaks have always been cooked perfectly and I've been compelled to tip way more than normal to a few servers that have gone above and beyond to make it a comfortable visit

Drew was a fantastic server. Food and drinks were fantastic, lobster tail is recommended by me.

Delicious food in a warm friendly environment. Our server Jess was spot on with attention giving us space too. A glitch with menu was resolved and staff went more than the extra mile.

This place is a great experience.we have visited on several occasions and keep going back. The food is wonderful and cooked to your requirements every time DELICIOUS 😋 The staff are very welcoming and attentive, and no request is too much very friendly without disturbing you while dining. If you can not finish your meal and wish to take it away with you, they will gladly box it up for you also. Recommend that this place is tried.

Really chillaxing atmosphere and really friendly staff.

On entering there was an awful smell. Like sewers! It’s a big place so luckily we were seated away from this. The young lady Charlotte who served us was lovely. She was patient as being a party of 7, 3 children, it took a while to decide what we wanted. Just ordered a couple of starters and my husband said his prawns were like warm and bland! My steak and my grandsons were undercooked. I wanted medium and it was raw. He wanted well done but came pink in the middle. As we both ordered fillets they were very fatty so must be cheap cuts. My husband had a burger but didn’t finish it.. One of my grandsons just had chips which looked as if they’d been reheated. The boys had chocolate brownies for dessert and this was bland too.. the baby just had bread and wouldn’t eat anything else. The bill was £270 ! Won’t be going back. Also my husband has been sick all day today with upset stomach.

Always just a fantastic meal. And if there was anything that wasn’t perfect, the are sure to get it rectified straight away!

Superb anniversary dinner for my parents - every steak was spot on, the sauces were brilliant, and the starters and sides were impressive in both breadth and quality. A particular thanks to 'steak expert' Molly who took fantastic care of us!

Katie our server was very attentive and made sure we had a tremendous dining experience, The food was fantastic and the wine pairing was really lovely, definitely recommend miller and carter Tynemouth if you would like a treat meal although fairly priced for what you get this isn’t a cheap Sunday lunch in my opinion.

This was a Very Clean establishment with Excellent Food and staff, the only things that let it down was the Final Touches. I would expect Cloth Napkins instead of Tissue, placemats on tables to place drinks and plates so they don't slide on tables. For the prices I think the Final Touches could make a difference.

As an adage to my first review of M&C Tynemouth. A special shout out to Charlotte N. The friendly welcome, her people skills and dining advice were appreciated and welcome. Hope to see you again soon M&C is our go to place and has been for years. Today was our first time at Tynemouth M&C but won’t be the last, this venue is exceptional as are the staff

Had a lovely evening here with family and friends, the service was amazing (even washed my jumper for me when I spilt red wine on it thanks to the kids), food was delicious, we will definitely be back soon !! 😋

The staff at every Miller and Carter are always brilliant and here was no exception. The food was great (as always) but I ordered a fresh orange juice without ice and my drink was very watery. Either someone forgot to shake the carton before serving or it had been watered down. Either way not what I'd expect for the price. One of my party also claimed there alcoholic beverage tasted watered down and not to have the usual amount of alcohol he'd expect in the drink.

Lovely warm welcome when we arrived, Drew our host was polite, friendly and lovely host. Christmas menu was worth every penny. We had pata for starter and roast turkey with all the trimmings. Our waitress Jess was brilliant, helpful, friendly and just right level of attentiveness. Lovely meal (chateaubriand) as always. It was a quiet lunch time on a very cold day so atmosphere wasn’t buzzing but we were happy. Lovely food and wine and Jess popped by to check on us. We will be back.

My first M&C steak and won't be my last. Most delicious meal I have had in a long time and lunchtime specials are excellent value for money.

Delicious food and excellent service

Came here for a celebration meal for me and my partner getting our first home. Charlotte n served us she was amazing talked us through the menu, helped us with steak recommendations and done us a congratulations plate at the end with our desserts as we were telling her about our house. Would 100% recommend and will be returning in the future.

Went here for my grandfathers 80th atmosphere was lovely and we were served by an excellent member of staff called Charlotte. Couldn't recommend more.

Just literally got back home from my first visit here tonight (previously used to visit the Gosforth one before this one opened) and felt compelled to write this review straight away for an amazing service from the initial greeting with a smile to the outstanding service and food provided throughout the night. Our waitress/waiter Molly and James were absolutely fab and have amazing personalities which is a must for that job they do. Turned out that it was James trial shift and we found out he got the job before we left so a HUGE congratulations to him🥳. He had a fantastic approach (along with Molly) and personality traits which shone through and I’m sure he will be an asset to the restaurant along with everybody else there. Very rarely do you visit somewhere where all staff are likeminded and have similar bubbly personalities and interaction skills but they all seem to love their jobs and make a great team. 😉

Had a lovely meal with friends on 16th November. Lovely atmosphere comfortable good food+excellent service.

We went for a family meal for a birthday. We were greeted and seated quickly. Given plenty of time to peruse the menu before ordering and once we had the food came quickly. Food was delicious (we all had something different), service was fantastic and all in a cosy atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.

Very dissatisfied, we was a party of 10. Was a belated Birthday and Christmas do. Couldn't wait to get us out, after we paid our bill and the service charge. We won't be returning again.

Me and my partner went for my birthday, our sever was Charlotte N, she was an absolute delight and so lovely! Staff went above and beyond, the desert we had ordered came with a happy birthday message and was incredibly special, she’s an absolute credit to the staff at miller and carters!
