Lush tea at M&C Tynemouth. Our expert was Charlotte.W. Lovely local lass with a class accent. Really professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Bottle of wine, couple of steaks with nice mix of music. Perfect wind down from a weeks graft 👌🏻

Cracking plate of grub only bettered by the absolute first class service by the lovely Jessica it was our first visit and she was beyond helpful going through the menu with us answering any of our questions or concerns with a beaming smile she is an absolute princess will be returning just as a thank you to her

Birthday celebration for us. Tony was very accommodating for all our needs and advised on what we ordered. My wife couldn’t eat things cooked in butter so Tony made sure the chef knew and it was so. The steaks were all cooked to perfection and I had two portions of their beef dripping sauce. To die for. Can’t recommend the Miller & Carter enough. Every one I’ve been to has been brilliant as are all their staff. Top marks

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with lovely staff. First visit and very impressed with the food, will be back. Our server Alex N was very knowledgeable and explained all the different types of steaks to us, and was very attentive. Great service.

We visited Miller & Carter last night and were really pleased as always with the whole experience. Charlotte N served us - she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering some great recommendations. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, everything was delicious and now after writing this I just want to go again!

From the moment we arrived, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our tables. When seated, Sam, our server, told us that he was going to be taking our orders and made it clear that if we had any questions then he would be there to help. Our food and drink was brought out in a timely manner and it was fantastic. Staff were on hand to quickly deal with orders or requests such as getting the final bill. The food was absolutely amazing and, despite having a previous negative experience at a different Miller and Carter, we will absolutely be back to the Tynemouth restaurant. Absolutely cannot fault the service and food/drink!

Absolutely lovely restaurant set just off the main road with ample parking, food and drinks are always spot on, nice ambiance and Charlotte W is a bubbly , happy young Lady and very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive without being overly attentive,we’ll definitely return very soon .

We have been to the Preston Grange (Tynemouth) Miller & Carter on numerous occasions and the overall experience is consistently excellent. The staff are always friendly and efficient (our server on the latest visit was Charlotte) with nice touches like personalising desserts etc. with birthday or other messages. The lunch menu in particular is fantastic value, the Pork Tomahawk being my favourite main course selection. It has become a regular midweek treat for us, knowing that we will receive great food in a welcoming, comfortable environment at a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

Sam, our server was absolutely brilliant. A party of 3 where only 1 had been before. Sam walked us through the options and how to order. Sam is clearly knowledgeable and takes pride in his job as he was able to tell us the difference between the different meat types, the age difference, aswell as the difference in feed that subsequently causes certain stronger flavour profiles. We’re 3 lads under 30 ourselves and we were genuinely blown away by the warmth, attention to detail and professionalism that was displayed. A genuine asset to miller and carter. This is not from my closest miller and carter, but I will be going to this one from now on, honestly second to none

I expected the steak to be slightly bigger, but it WAS delicious. Expertly cooked, exactly to spec. All the food was delicious. Worth the price. It was a weekday evening, so quite empty, not much atmosphere... But I'm sure it's livelier at other times. Slightly hard to find, unexpectedly at the end of a residential street. The Google Maps location is correct even if it doesn't seem likely.

I suppose its the same as the other branches though we have found the staff to be a little more welcoming than some others. They have a number of extra large parking spaces which is a big bonus if you have a nice car and you like to avoid door dings. My only negative is that sometimes the air con could be 1 or 2 degrees warmer but I would recommend the place.

1st visit to this venue and Sunday lunch with a difference steak instead of roast. Really tasty and good service not rushed at all will defo be back Charlotte our server was really pleasant and cheerful

Our server will was absolutely lovely! He was very accommodating of my allergy and was super attentive all night, despite how busy the restaurant was. My boyfriend and I shared a GIGANTIC 28oz steak that was cooked to perfection! We enjoyed every last bite. Absolutely wonderful food and service - a perfect Valentine’s Day!

Just had a lovely meal with my wife for a Valentine’s treat. Had a thoroughly great experience from start to finish. The food was excellent with delicious starters, our steaks cooked to perfection and lovely desserts to finish. Got to make a special mention to our steak expert Alex, who looked after us brilliantly throughout the night starting from great advice on my steak…. She was friendly, professional and attentive. Would recommend.

Been here a few times and this time tops it all ordered from the valentines menu and Tony was superb with his service and I noticed he was a top server for all tables he went to as well. So if you visit here and your steak expert is Tony I can assure you are in safe hands and in for a great experience.

Lunch time visit today. Really good offer 2 courses £16 50 or 3 for £19.50. Definitely worth it.. The steak was cooked just right, it was lovely and tender. Staff are very friendly and polite. 3/4/24 - Another visit tonight. Two of us shared the Butchers Block, the steak was delicious. Another person in the party had the full rack of ribs, the meat just fell off the bones. Alex was a very attentive member of staff, friendly and fullif knowledge & she also helped re the M & C app. 31/7/24 - Lunch time visit. Alex N was our server, she was great, very friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Food delicious as always. 30/1/25 - Another successful lunch time visit on the 'Rare Treats' menu. Thanks to our great server Alec, extremely friendly and nothing was a bother. Delicious rump steak.

What a great time we had at Miller and Carter Tynemouth. Sam definitely made us feel welcome. Any team would be lucky to have a colleague like him as part of their team! Outstanding worker!

Restaurant beautiful inside, Staff very friendly Katie our server very polite. Some of the food not so nice, I had prawn cocktail barely any sauce so quite dry, also had a steak which was tough and two big chunks of gristle which I had to spit out, not very ladylike at all, some of our group had dessert, we then had to look for somebody to ask for spoons after sitting waiting for over 5 minutes. Honestly first time there and probably last time.

First and last visit , we were lucky enough to have vouchers, 1st I ordered medium steak which came very rare, beef dripping sauce was like water, chips were poor. 2nd. Wife ordered banoffee pie for desert it was mostly cream and one tiny bit of banana. Why are there not prices on the wine list. Basically overpriced and overrated

The food was amazing as per usual, which we tried the rare treat menu and was worth the money. We had Amber as our server and couldn’t fault her she was very kind and helpful!

The a la carte menu is not cheap, therefore we chose this restaurant for a special occasion celebration meal. The place was very busy. Everyone in the party enjoyed their steaks. I wouldn’t personally recommend the mac n cheese sides. Our server Tony was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu, thanks for acknowledging our special occasion so personally, a great touch! We will return.

Alex N served us with a great service always had a smile and to make the first trip for my two girls really special she let them ring the bell for the chefs which we thought was a very kind thing to do. There was 6 of us altogether today and once again the food was absolutely amazing as always. My girls who are 8 years loved coming as they have been wanting to come to miller and carter for ages now and they said it’s the BEST restaurant EVER
