Had a lovely family lunch today. Served by Sam. A very pleasant, polite young man who was very accommodating to our needs .

Food amazing as always and the service was superb. Thank you Charlotte W for your professional, polite and friendly service.

Ordered steak to be well done, was really crisp on outside and very very pink on inside. Menus state well done is brown inside. Chefs obviously not reading the menus

Amazing food and the service from a lovely young lady called Katie was fantastic .there was 12 of us for my 60th birthday meal , everyone got there meals together, the food was amazing, could not fault anything .surprise cake with a sparkler and staff , family and other people having a meal singing happy birthday. Definitely a fantastic place for a celebration or a quiet meal .thank you to everyone.

Visited for lunch on bank holiday Monday. Food was very good. We were lucky to have Charlotte serving us again, she consistently provides fantastic friendly service and is a credit to Miller and Carter. Charlotte recognised that on this visit we were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary by providing a nice dessert treat, which we both thought was a lovely touch.

The food (steak) was great, very good. Lots of choice on the menu too. Service from Charlotte N was attentive, helpful and friendly. The only criticism I have was the music which was everywhere, a bit loud, and not to my taste.

Went to the Miller and Carter in Tynemouth. Amazing food and really friendly staff. We were served by Jessica, lovely girl and good service. Looking forward to coming back soon x

Lovely birthday lunch. Selected the 3 course lunch special. Tony our waiter was very helpful and dealt with a couple of queries. Food was really good and although I asked for the mini dessert and coffee I received a special birthday pudding, very nice touch Thank you.

Another visit to one my favourite restaurants, Miller & Carter in Preston Grange (Tynemouth) and, as usual, it was excellent. The midweek lunch menu is great value with a reasonable range of choices for all 3 courses. I usually go for the Pork Tomahawk for my main course, always perfectly cooked and very tasty, not to mention filling! Amber and Rachel were our servers today and they both maintained the high levels of service that we had experienced on previous visits, being very polite and attentive. I love the extra little details that make special occasions so memorable, such as celebratory messages on the desserts (as we were celebrating both a birthday and Wedding Anniversary). Overall an easy 5 star experience…great food, pleasant atmosphere and excellent service.

We attended Miller & Carter Tynemouth today 18/05/25 to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, Rachel was our hostess on her very 1st shift in her new career, she was very attentive, polite and diligent in her duties. I'm convinced Rachel will be an asset to the Miller and Carter team. We chose the Sunday roast sharing board it was delicious, cooked just how we like it and along with the scrumptious desserts well worth the money. We will be returning!

Not many in so not much atmosphere but food was great although my friend said her crème brûlée was average

Had a great experience last night. Tony, our waiter, was amazing, super friendly and on top of everything. The manager was great too, really made sure we were taken care of. The steaks were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I’ve been to a few other locations, but this one’s definitely our favorite. Will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit on a Friday for a late lunch . The premises are comfortable & clean with a pleasant ambience. The staff were very friendly & efficient & the service good. In particular our steak expert Tony was very knowledgeable & helpful recommending the best cooking of steaks & which sauces would go well. The food was absolutely delicious & well presented. All in all very good experience.

I went here for food on Easter Monday with my boyfriend. Our server, Tony, was great and really helpful when we had a query about a voucher we had received. The Sunday sharing board was on due to it being Easter weekend so we opted for that and it was amazing, all the meat was cooked to perfection and the Camembert mash was to die for. We also had white chocolate creme brûlée and lemon tart for desserts which were just as amazing. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, great food and friendly servers

Our steak expert Tony was excellent- very knowledgeable and attentive. Decent steaks, especially the filet mignon. Quite pricey but practically on our doorstep so worth it for a special treat

Lush tea at M&C Tynemouth. Our expert was Charlotte.W. Lovely local lass with a class accent. Really professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Bottle of wine, couple of steaks with nice mix of music. Perfect wind down from a weeks graft 👌🏻

Cracking plate of grub only bettered by the absolute first class service by the lovely Jessica it was our first visit and she was beyond helpful going through the menu with us answering any of our questions or concerns with a beaming smile she is an absolute princess will be returning just as a thank you to her

Birthday celebration for us. Tony was very accommodating for all our needs and advised on what we ordered. My wife couldn’t eat things cooked in butter so Tony made sure the chef knew and it was so. The steaks were all cooked to perfection and I had two portions of their beef dripping sauce. To die for. Can’t recommend the Miller & Carter enough. Every one I’ve been to has been brilliant as are all their staff. Top marks

We visited Miller & Carter last night and were really pleased as always with the whole experience. Charlotte N served us - she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering some great recommendations. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, everything was delicious and now after writing this I just want to go again!

From the moment we arrived, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our tables. When seated, Sam, our server, told us that he was going to be taking our orders and made it clear that if we had any questions then he would be there to help. Our food and drink was brought out in a timely manner and it was fantastic. Staff were on hand to quickly deal with orders or requests such as getting the final bill. The food was absolutely amazing and, despite having a previous negative experience at a different Miller and Carter, we will absolutely be back to the Tynemouth restaurant. Absolutely cannot fault the service and food/drink!

Absolutely lovely restaurant set just off the main road with ample parking, food and drinks are always spot on, nice ambiance and Charlotte W is a bubbly , happy young Lady and very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive without being overly attentive,we’ll definitely return very soon .

We have been to the Preston Grange (Tynemouth) Miller & Carter on numerous occasions and the overall experience is consistently excellent. The staff are always friendly and efficient (our server on the latest visit was Charlotte) with nice touches like personalising desserts etc. with birthday or other messages. The lunch menu in particular is fantastic value, the Pork Tomahawk being my favourite main course selection. It has become a regular midweek treat for us, knowing that we will receive great food in a welcoming, comfortable environment at a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

Sam, our server was absolutely brilliant. A party of 3 where only 1 had been before. Sam walked us through the options and how to order. Sam is clearly knowledgeable and takes pride in his job as he was able to tell us the difference between the different meat types, the age difference, aswell as the difference in feed that subsequently causes certain stronger flavour profiles. We’re 3 lads under 30 ourselves and we were genuinely blown away by the warmth, attention to detail and professionalism that was displayed. A genuine asset to miller and carter. This is not from my closest miller and carter, but I will be going to this one from now on, honestly second to none

I expected the steak to be slightly bigger, but it WAS delicious. Expertly cooked, exactly to spec. All the food was delicious. Worth the price. It was a weekday evening, so quite empty, not much atmosphere... But I'm sure it's livelier at other times. Slightly hard to find, unexpectedly at the end of a residential street. The Google Maps location is correct even if it doesn't seem likely.
