Miller & Carter Gosforth Park in North Tyneside

First time at miller and carter & I can see what the hype is. Granted there is cheaper options out there, but the steak was amazing. Cooked perfectly & was served by Casey who was just brilliantly helpful & very nice.

Great value for Sunday 2/3-course set meal. We are served by Lauren B very friendly and attentive to our order. Both the steak and dessert won't fail to our taste buds. We like to go to Gosforth Park site clean and tidy welcoming atmosphere there.

We are 10 people and we ordered 3 kinds of steaks. All dishes were delicious. The atmosphere was very good. The sirloin steak had great taste and chicken were delicious too. I like their Mojito too, it is not ver special but it is good. But the invoice is not very clear; it's difficult to determine which discount is for which dish. Maybe when the number of dishes is high, printing the invoice is more complicated for them. If they could put orders on the invoice respectively beside discount, it would be clearer. In general, I enjoyed my time at this restaurant.

Fantastic place for a nice treat! The steaks we ordered were all cooked and seasoned to perfection! My daughter ordered the ribs and again it was absolutely delicious! The desserts were beautiful too! Despite it being really busy, our "steak expert" Evie, was brilliant too! I'll definitely be going back! Best steak house in the north east as far as I'm concerned!

The quality of the food is impeccable, our server was really friendly and made sure we knew how to order. The service was a bit slow in parts but it was very busy when we first arrived and it did not really detract from our experience.

Hi, me and my Girlfriend had a table for 2 booked at miller and carter gosforth today at 01.15 we were welcomed and shown to our table and our waiter (Andy) was very helpful and professional and made our service 5 star, he wasnt only helpful he was also cheerful we will certainly be back.

We've just got back after spending an afternoon celebrating my husband's birthday at the Miller & Carter restaurant in Gosforth. Can only say we really enjoyed the food, especially the steaks, all cooked to perfection with delicious sauces. My daughter chose the seabass and she thoroughly enjoyed her meal too. My other daughter has a nut allergy and the staff went out of their way to ensure her meal was nut free and safe. We received excellent service from Demi who ensured my husband had a lovely time by decorating his dessert plate with Happy Birthday. We hope to return soon.

We dined here on Saturday 11th Jan. although we had a fairly early booking (6.30pm) they had already run out of our first choice menu option. However the food when it came was good. The Angus ribeye was not worth extra money. It was slightly overcooked and no more flavoursome than the 30 day aged option. The lobster tail was a worthwhile addition. The service from Liam was excellent and he did his best to make the evening special despite our first choice option not being available.

We visited last night for a family birthday and ordered a variety of food, but the best of all was the Butchers Block, perfect for sharing! The meat was beautifully cooked… Our waiter Sean was such a lovely guy, very warming and welcoming, very well mannered not something you hear a lot of these days! Even having a little word with the chef and getting a birthday message with the desert. We travelled far for the gosforth restaurant and will be returning to this one bypassing closer locations.

You know what one of the best steak experiences that I've ever had. Highly recommend a proper place and a good crowd. Especially thanks for Demi

Lovely welcome. Waiter was very polite and friendly. It was my partners birthday and she was wished a happy birthday and given strawberries and cream on a plate with happy birthday on it decorated by the kitchen staff. The food was amazingly tasty. Great ambiance and cosy feel to the place.

This was a first. Upon arrival, we were met with the host facing away from us, speaking on their phone at the front desk. Meanwhile, two bar staff stared at us, and a waitress glanced our way but didn’t approach to offer assistance. After waiting and looking at the menu and discussing what we would like on the menu, hoping someone would help, we decided to leave.

Popped in to celebrate mine and my wife's first wedding anniversary. We were well looked after and catered for by Demi and the team behind the scenes. Stunning food and fabulous service!

Great service and the food was amazing - just what we needed after a days racing

We came for New Year’s day, the food was absolutely incredible! The staff were so lovley and attentive. We were served by sean, he was so polite and well mannered. However the only downfall was an extremely rude and arrogant woman who was on the table beside us. Clicking at staff, vaping inside the restaurant, being overly loud and abrupt, and worst of all…BURPING extremely loud in the middle of eating her food. Staff were so embarrassed and totally ruined a wonderful night. A conversation was had once we had finished and left as we went to head outside as i was disgusted in the scene she was causing.The staff do not deserve to be treated that way especially not when they’re so incredible, i hope she learns from the situation and the staff have a wonderful start to the year!!
