Beans and Bagels in Basildon

Been going here 3/4 times a week since October. I can’t stress enough how much this is a must try place in Wickford, never had a single complaint.

This is a little gem. The staff are so friendly and the bagels are the best I’ve ever had. Even my husband likes them. He usually hates bagels and won’t touch them. Brilliant little place. The coffee is so good too.

Best coffee in Wickford! Dropped in for two flat whites while out shopping this morning and as always had a lovely friendly welcome from the ladies behind the counter. Coffees were smooth and a decent size, unlike some cafes, and we're looking forward to calling in there again soon.

Amazing coffee shop in Wickford, really friendly and accommodating staff. I was asking for something that wasn’t specifically on their menu but the lovely lady who worked there went above and beyond for me and even went out to the butchers to buy the sausages. Lovely hot chocolate and really lovely spot. Such a good find!

Fantastic coffee shop, popped in for a coffee with a friend, ended up staying for lunch. Such friendly staff with great table service and the bagels are the best I've ever tasted. We weren't rushed out, even though we'd spent three hours in there!

The perfect coffee shop/ restaurant! A whole menu of to-die-for bagels (the best in Essex and it’s not even close!) and great coffee. Team are so friendly and create such a warm atmosphere! I’d give 6 stars if I could!

A lovely visit to this cafe, busy and most tables were taken but I squeezed in and was served quickly. The coffee is delicious and the food wonderful and freshly prepared with quality ingredients. Definitely the best coffee shop in town!

Visited this place today with a friend for lunch, they couldn’t recommend it enough……well I second that for sure, from the moment you walk in, you are treated like family, friendly staff, clean environment, good choice of food that is cooked fresh to order if you have a hot item. Hot coffee and plenty of options, Nicola and her staff are well presented and so pleasant and happy. We had such a lovely lunch, only downside, is that it could be bigger, but it’s a cosy & comfortable environment. Will definitely be back. My friend Tiff and I, had a lovely time, we laughed with the staff and was made to feel very welcome.

I’ve been there a few times over the last couple of years. The staff are always cheerful and friendly, the bagels are superb with a great variety. Of course, you have to have a decent coffee with it, they do that very well too 👍👍

This is our favourite lunch spot in Wickford. The service is goodand the food is delicious but the staff are truly the loveliest. The cafe caters to your dietary requirements, which is appreciated. Definitely my local recommendation.
