Best food around Basildon, clean environment, very, very, very friendly staff, portion size is amazing, nothing is too much for the ladies and gents. Able to swap an item if you don’t like something. Most of the food is home made. The spag bowl is amazing. As they didn’t have any today I hade curry with rice and chips (instead of salad) Curry is not spice :) spag bowl doesn't have mushrooms :) Best place ever!

Such a warm and friendly welcome and service. Huge portions! We’d recommend the number 1 breakfast. I switched the hash browns for bubble and squeak. Bubble was delicious! Tasted homemade. Really well priced too. Would definitely recommend. Shame I’m not in the area more often! PS parking on site and a covered outside area for smokers I’m sure is a bonus for many!

Have been coming here for 10 years all food very good and hot and plenty of it good varieties great value for money very clean and the staff friendly and have got to know us now we have been coming 1 to 3 times per week So you can say we love the food yummy

Spend many a Sunday having a roast dinner at this venue. The staff are friendly, approachable, and professional. They are a credit to there Boss. The food is served up quickly and always HOT

Been going to this cafe for a few years and cant recommend it highly enough. Busy on the weekend but seats normally available inside and out. Food choices are huge as are the portions. Staff very friendly and place is spotless. Highly recommended :-)

Good value for money. . Loads to eat - large portions. Hit and miss on timings. Normal breakfasts come out extremely fast but if you order something different you have a bit of a wait. My partner is normally half way through his breakfast before mine baguette even arrives but still very good

This Cafe is a hidden gem was full of surprises, lots of food choices including breakfast meals pie and chips even lasagna and spaghetti bolognese 5 of us had all different meals service was extremely quick food was hot and very tasty very.. polite staff and excellent value for money very clean and I would certainly go back

Since starting work in the area we have been coming here for breakfast quite regularly and this place never disappoints. The service is so quick that you are sometimes just sitting down after ordering and your food arrives! There is a real cross section of people in here from builders to couples, families, older residents, emergency services which just shows you that the place must be good as it is always so busy.

Went here this morning, 5 hungry blokes, ordered the biggest breakfasts all left with full bellies & clean plates.very clean & well run,friendly outfit ✔

As the previous reviewer said this is a hidden gem.the set meals here are huge and such great value for money and it's a struggle to eat anything for the rest of the day.always busy which is a good sign but never have to wait long.again as the last reviewer said the clientele cone from all walks of life from builders to the police I've sat on there on many occasions having a good chinwag with both of these.dont miss this one 100%

Se sabe cuando un lugar es bueno, hemos estado utilizando este Café durante años porque no podemos encontrar un lugar mejor que coincida con la calidad de la comida y disfrutará de un servicio rápido. La clientela que comer aquí son una sección completa de cruce que representa a las personas que saben que cuando la comida es buena, los precios económicos son sólo una ventaja. El lugar siempre está lleno, pero incluso cuando hay una cola el rápido eficiente personal asegurar que yousoon conseguir un asiento antes de llegar a la barra, hay también una zona exterior que ahora nos estamos acercando verano. Estamos aún a probar el almuerzo porque cuando estamos en ese cuello de los bosques que tienen el desayuno allí y que dura el día.
